4corners attempted to do my taxes for 2019, and I must say that I’ve never had worse service for anything, ever, in my 46 years of living and working all over the world. They had all of my documents before April 15, but we filed for an extension as we were missing mileage for my wife’s return. They said it would be no problem and we could file before whatever date. At no point did they mention that I needed to make a payment, or how much I needed to pay, before the paperwork was submitted with the extension. I had no idea I owed money even though we had an extension. That’s why I hire a tax professional to do the paperwork and tell me how much to pay and when. So I get hit with a late fee from the IRS of $1091. I send them the letter, asking why the IRS is saying I owe money. They claim that it is not their responsibility to inform clients how much or when to pay. They claim that it wasn’t a mistake that they never told me. After an awful conversation on the phone, Phil offered to give $350 towards the $1091 penalty, but only as a credit to our account for future fees. Ha! As if I would ever make the mistake of trusting them to do my taxes again.

Phil and his team are rockstars! Patient and understanding. I was behind on my taxes and they really helped me out by following up, keeping me on what I needed to do and overall just being kind about the entire experience.
