I was going to do a bankruptcy myself but in the end decided to get a lawyer to ensure that I did not mess anything up. I received notice today that it was approved and my case is closed. I checked around and decided to go with CO Law Group mainly because they had a price special which saved me money compared to the other firms I called. I did not know them at all and I had a really great experience (considering the subject). A couple of firms I called kind of pressured me to sign up with them which I do not like but CO Law Group did not do that. They walked me through all steps, they were very pleasant and professional, they responded to my emails/questions immediately, there were no issues and it proceeded very quickly. I 100% recommend 5280 Colorado law group. I was very skeptical about reaching out and taking the step to decide if bankruptcy was best for me. Tina was so helpful and answered all my questions over the phone before even meeting for a consultation. She is a very busy woman, but she is so sweet and took her time explaining the entire process with me. George and Andrew are also great. Amazing lawyers. Very knowledgeable and worked with me closely. Tina, Andrew and George work closely as a team and checked on me through the whole process to make sure every part of the bankruptcy was completed. They also would get back to me in a timely manner. They have a front desk secretary that helps with a piece of the process, I forgot her name, but she wasn’t as nice. They would get 0 stars if that was an option. RUN FAR AWAY FROM HERE DO NOT GIVE THEM A PENNY! Tina is extremely rude and unprofessional. You will get an inconsistent response from every single person that works here, no one knows what they are doing. You cant trust a word they say. I was given a *free* consultation which I got charged for. I went in and talked to a woman (receptionist) and filled out some basic paperwork. Never gave them any documents that they asked for to proceed with my case. The woman asked if I wanted to do a down payment so that the $750 fee I was quoted wouldnt change. I gave them $200. My grandma passed away and I had spoke to someone and told them i wasnt ready to claim atm and would get back to them when I was. They proceeded to call/email me 6x after that conversation ALL of which i was charged for even though we never spoke. I ended up closing my case and of the $200 got a refund check for $89. George charged me for every single time they contacted me (which was unwanted/unneeded since I was not ready to file). I also was charged for the consultation as well as charged for them reading my questionnaire, neither of which were told to me about before I handed the lady my $200. I had called here twice about closing my case and apparently George is always so busy so you get to talk to Tina, who has no authority and cant help you with anything. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. If u change your mind in the long run you will end up getting much much less than you gave them to begin with. George is extremely unprofessional and rude. When I spoke to him to get my $200 back he hung up on me multiple times as well as laughed at me. There is a reason why this place is so cheap! Go pay a real lawyer who wont be a weasel and steal all your money even if they literally did NOTHING for you. Absolute worst business I have ever dealt with in my life and they need to be shut down.

Filing for bankruptcy wasnt an easy decision for me but I had little choice. I had lost my job a while back and the debts just piled up. The guys at this bankruptcy firm are top notch! I called 4-5 different firms before I did my bankruptcy, and the firm I went with the first time had a really low rate but then they ended up charging me a bunch of hidden fees and before I knew it Id spent $600 and still wasnt filed and now they were telling me I needed to file a Chapter 13! And I still had another $300 to pay the court!!! I finally gave up on those guys and called back Lewis Dimitrov. Theyre flat rate REALLY is the price and they didnt charge me a dime more - I paid $599, they filed my Chapter 7 bankruptcy, and they even fixed a bunch of mistakes the other firm made. Plus they were friendly and honest, and actually returned my calls when I had questions. This law firm is the best and I will refer friends and family who need bankruptcy.
