Contacted Jay to help with busted pipes and check valve from the freeze we just had. Was able to come out earlier than expected and completely had me up and running in less than an hour. Very courteous and professional would recommend to anyone needing assistants. Will use them when I start my outdoor kitchen.

When I had an emergency come up with my pool I contacted Jay with Brakefields Pool Service late in the evening and he responded by coming out ASAP and spending two hours helping me fix my pool and getting it in working order. Jay gives you a fair price for such excellent service and no pesky annual contract - he even goes above and beyond what both of our previous chain Pool Service companies have done for a more competitive price. When our previous pool company stopped communicating with us, we decided to take care of our pool on our own. However, our pool was green and had several other equipment issues that we did not know how to fix, even after going online to pool websites and watching YouTube videos. He even agreed to come out while we were on vacation to check our pool for a minimal charge and also came when our salt system wasnt working properly to help us know what repairs were needed. Jay makes himself available for services even on Saturdays, which our previous pool service did not. I was in desperate need of Pool service! Looking high and low and with great reviews I decided to go with Brakefields Pool Service. Jay the owner came in 2 days, advised me on what the issue was and gave me options. He was knowledgeable and very understanding in my pool needs. He even gave us Free Pool school so that we can maintain our own pool going forward. Jay is down to earth and quick on his job my pool hasnt been this clear since I bought the house last year. Great choice!!

My wife called to see about servicing out pool as we had mustard algae, though we didnt know that at the time. She explained what was going on and Jay knew exactly what the problem was. Rather than coming out and charging us he gave her instructions and said try this first. It fixed the problem. It is refreshing to find companies that are there to help first. I cannot go on more about how great Brakefields Pool Service has been to us. We were previously with a very large name pool service company in Denton that consistently under performed and left my pool looking like nobody had even attempted to clean it (dirt all over the bottom of the pool, baskets not emptied, never brushed the tile/sides - theyd only brush the bottom of the pool enough to stir up the dirt and then let it settle back to the bottom of the pool within an hour or so after they left, and not once cleaned the attached in ground hot tub). What a breath of fresh air to hire Jay! Not only did he diagnose, and fix, a pool leak that was causing me to have to fill my pool for (at minimum) an hours worth of water every 4-5 days, I have never, EVER, looked at my pool after one of their cleanings and found a single issue. I cannot tell you how many hours of my life were spent every week trying to get the service I was paying a significantly higher price for with the other company, and with Brakefields I actually feel relief and shake my head at all of the stress and time wasted being anywhere else. Brakefields has always done what it takes to clean my pool, whether thats brushing, skimming, vacuuming, whatever it takes, and I am not just a happy customer, I am a thankful one.
