My regular barber had a medical emergency and I’m leaving the mainland for a month so I had no choice but to “cheat” and find alternate shears. I thought a shop with beard in the name would be a reasonably safe bet. Oops.I’m not cruel, so I won’t mention the barber by name. But I reckon that if Bearded Lady would employ one hack, they probably have others running chairs too.She was overly focused on mind-numbing small talk, yet seemed to lack both confidence and competence with shears and clippers.The price of the cut was not offensive, but the 6 months lost doing a “light trim” on my one year beard is.If you’re taking your neighbor’s adopted stepson for a buzz cut, this is your place. If you value your appearance or just want to not look a fool, keep steppin’.

Ive been going to the Bearded Lady for years now. Awesome local barber shop with a cool vibe. Their barber Anthony Proa is the man, excellent customer service and has been cutting my hair since senior prom, and I just graduated college. 10/10 recommend if you have not been here.

I unfortunately had a bad experience at Bearded Lady today. The lady was very rude and the haircut was not good either.I asked for a beard trim also and when I showed my beard I was yelled at for taking my mask off. Not sure how you trim a beard while a mask is worn?

Best barber shop in Denton as far as Im concerned. Ive used about 5 different stylist at bearded lady over the last 3 years and Im very happy every time.

No!! I understand I arrived without an appointment but it was as if I crossed a line in the sand. Simply pointed to take a card and make an appointment for a later date and time. No conversation as to what I was looking to get done. No introduction of themselves or any other barber on premises. How can you get my cut right if you dont even converse? The Parlor should be a jewel of the community. A place where all are welcomed. I didnt feel that there. I wont be back and I would likely suggest others not go as well. The one star is for the area, it pretty nice.

The Bearded Lady is, by far, the best stylist den Ive ever been to. I dont want to call it a barbershop or salon because I feel like those words dont accurately describe all this community of professionals has to offer. The staff is always inviting and helpful. They work with you to help realize that imagine of yourself that you have in your head, you know, the good looking one.

Excellent haircuts!!! Nothing but the best! The lovely ladies that work here are always so friendly and nice! The dudes that work there are too political and talk too much about politics, they put up an iPad and watch Republican/conservative podcast videos with the volume all the way up. I did NOT care for that.

I saw Tanner for a womens pixie cut, and it is seriously the best haircut Ive ever had. Ive been getting constant compliments everywhere I go. It looks great, compliments my face and hair, and is very easy to take care of. Also, the experience of getting a haircut by Tanner and at the Bearded Lady was a pleasure.

Got my haircut with Joey Medina while traveling through Denton for work. He was awesome and gave me exactly the cut I wanted. The atmosphere was also really great - looked like a tattoo parlor, and some sweet blues music was playing. I felt bad for the people waiting to get their haircut by Marie though, she was a no-show for work. Joey is solid, and awesome at what he does, so make sure to book with him. Ill absolutely be coming back here again the next time I am in Texas.

I would usually give them a 4.5 but this past year they raised their prices. I can get a $20 cut ($5 cheaper than their cut) with a full wash and dry. Don’t t get me wrong these guys are awesome and the haircuts are usually pretty good. Just don’t see a point anymore with their raised prices and all you get is a basic cut.

Great environment. Wes has cut my hair twice now. First time he had his kid with him and he seemed to be rushing my haircut turned out pretty bad tbh but still paid not a big deal. 2nd time I asked to cut 50% of my beard off dude cut all of it off. And don’t get me started on his taper fade smh Just a bad barber in my opinion. Doesn’t listen to what customers want just does his own thing. Will not be back to this place especially since I tip 10/12 every time. One would assume they would do a better job to keep a customer coming back. He’s the only barber I would avoid there’s a female barber that’s good can’t remember her name.

I got my haircut by Brittany Cue. She was about 45 minutes behind schedule, and it took her over an hour to do a simple fade. She was also pretty rude and didnt want to engage in conversation. Everybody else working there was very friendly and cool, though. The two barbers on either side of me finished two haircuts in the time it took mine to finish one.TL;DR: Decent haircut, pretty bad service, kind of pricey

Great haircut and friendly service in a cool environment. But for the third month in a row Im sitting at sport clips because every other time I show up for a cut Im told they dont take walk-ins anymore, a week later I call and am told they do again, I show up today and they dont again. I know I should just make an appointment but this unpredictable walk-in policy is disappointing when youre typically a walk-in customer.

I got a haircut at the truck once. It was pretty meh but the girl was super nice so its all good. Tried going back durong the day last week and no one was at the truck or the brick and mortar. Went back today, during the normal advertised business hours, and again no one was at the brick and mortar or the truck. Kind of a bummer, not sure why I even tried again this last time.

If you have long hair (shoulder length or longer), I highly advise you not to go here. Months back, my boyfriend cut his shoulder long hair to shorter style and it ended up being nothing like what he told her he wanted. Then I go in to get a trim and some shaping with the same girl, and ended up leaving disappointed as well.At one point when she thought she was done with my haircut and pushed my hair in front of my face to check how even the cut was.... it was terrifying how different the length of both sides were. She had to overcorrect herself and cut my hair even shorter than I wanted. The atomoshpere here is cool and the people are super friendly and fun, but I’m definitely done scheduling appointments for myself.
