Mirror, mirror on the wall. Who is the fairest mechanic of all? Mike is. He fixed my car quickly and for an incredibly fair price. As a chick Ive seen a lot of scummy, shady mechanics, and Mike was trusted and referred by one of my chick friends. Hes very honest and a genuine guy.

I have been to other places that will try and take full advantage of inexperience and lack of vehicle knowledge, not here. He will diagnose the problem, explain what happened, and repair what is needed to get you back on the road. His communication is top notch. Its very rare that you find someone with this kind of integrity. Do yourself a favor and use his services first, you will not regret it!

Mike was so nice and helpful. Also very reasonably priced. Everywhere else wanted to charge me $50 for the service I needed and he only charged me $20. He was quick to answer and quick to repair. He is the owner of the shop and he does all the repairs himself. He answered the phone and told me to come in right there and then even though he was closing in 30 min. Really is the best mechanic I could hope for. Definitely recommend!

Mike is best mechanic I have ever been to. Usually, when your car breaks down, you get ready to have to spend a lot of money and be without a car for a long time. Mike does what he can to get you the best price with quality parts. Hes always honest, great at communicating, and will do what he can to make you happy. My door handle broke and I was in need for a new door panel. Ken was able to locate a new and used option very quickly. Pricing was great and I would definitely recommend. Thanks for the help!

Mike has helped me out for years on various different projects from newer 4runners to rust bucket 50s pickups and mid-eighties Toyota Land Cruisers. He has been super helpful and managed to make things work that any other shop wouldnt have bothered to help me with. Cant recommend his shop enough!

While its kind of difficult to find in its current location, this is the reasonable and trustworthy shop youre looking for. He will fix it cheap and fix it right. And if its something he cant fix, he will point you in the right direction. Hes starting to get better known, so call ahead to ensure availability.

Mike Kostanko is a great guy. If you call the number, it will typically be him answering the phone. He talks to you like you have been friends for years, and he actually listens and tries to understand people like me who are not very savvy with cars. He was the only shop in Denton that didnt make me feel like an idiot, and I would definitely recommend him to anybody who wants an actual mechanic that you will come back to time and time again. Good price, quick repair, and the best customer service of any mechanic I have ever been to.

Visited Mike Kostankos shop a few weeks back for an A/C recharge and I couldnt be more satisfied with my service. I called up on a Saturday around 3pm and although he had closed down shop for the day, he promptly assured me that I would be able to receive service as early as Monday morning 8am. This was after calling around 4 DIFFERENT shops in the area who all quoted me outrageous prices of $200+ for a simple A/C recharge. Mike Kostanko quoted me ONLY $60 for the A/C recharge! I arrived at his shop on Wednesday morning and he got me in and out within half an hour. Im new to the Denton area, but Im glad I now have a trusted mechanic to rely on for all of my services!

I remember Mike from when he worked at the Denton of Mazda back in the day and just recently heard that he has his own shop. Boy was I glad to bump into him as our 2007 Mazda CX7 required new timing belt, thermostat and other tune up such as new plugs replaced and from what I know Mazda dealership would charge me an arm and a leg while Mike did the work in half the time and for a fraction of what it would have costed us in the dealership. I will definitely use Mikes service and expertise for all of our vehicles moving forward. Highly recommend!!!
