To this point, all of my experiences with the Denison Post Office had been pleasant and professional. However, today I witnessed an appalling display of poor behavior on the part of the Postmaster toward a nurse. Our doctors and nurses are under enough pressure at this time. They neither need to be snapped at over a piece of tape nor do they deserve to be told you are too busy to help them, which is exactly what the Postmaster did.I was the only other customer in the building.After the Postmaster called another employee to the counter, then shouted at the nurse and made it clear the employee (who was going to help) that they actually should not help the nurse. The nurse then left without completing a very simple transaction and the employee retreated.I was horrified, the nurse was upset, and the employee appeared nervous of the Postmaster.Hopefully, someone will see this and press for improvements in both out-facing behavior and working conditions. Until then, I will handle my business online or at other locations.
I have never had the problems these people seem to claim. Only 1 time did they say a package was delivered an I never got it. I contacted the shipper an he resent it out, I got it in 3 days. I place my bills in the box they have always been delivered so far. No complaints. They continue to deliver the old owners mail to my house even after I write they no longer live there. So I just take it next door it is their nephew. Every time I got into the post office which is not a lot to buy stamps. Because I think it is stupid to order them then get charged a delivery charge when he is dropping mail at my house anyway. The people inside have always been friendly an very professional. So all in all no complaints
The post master is absolutely rude and horrible to deal with. It took over a YEAR to get authorization to move my mailbox.They had all the paperwork needed, they just ”misplaced it for a year.
Wow what nice people, very helpful and knowledgeable, I needed some packing material that I had neglected to bring the postal attendant was very courteous in helping provide that, what a class act. To bad I dont live closer Id use this facility frequently, good job Denison USPS!
I have lived in Denison about 10 months. The first two times that I went inside, the personnel were always pleasant and respectful but yesterday when I had to go inside, the gentleman who waited on me was rude and not customer oriented at all!! I watched him and he acted like he hated the world! If you have a job that works with the public, learn to be civil, pleasant and respectful!!
Ive told the Denison post office we live at our house and do expect mail there. But yet the mail carrier keeps returning our mail to sender cost me $10 at the bank cause of it. I called again told them to STOP returning our mail!!! And of course I just got a email from electric company stating the post office yet again returned my electric bill. They also put a zip tie on our mail box to keep us from getting mail when they have no business doing that. And if we do get mail they dont even close our mailbox so of it rains our mail gets wet. I will be forwarding my mail and calling the post master to file a complaint. This is unacceptable!
The Denison post office clerks have gone completely off their rockers with the covid mandates. They make you wear a mask inside or they will NOT wait on you!I was told to go to Sherman if I didnt want to wear a mask. I have a MEDICAL EXEMPTION that will not allow me to wear a mask, yet they will NOT let me drop off pre paid postage across the counter.They also keep their drop box outside of the little office that is inside of the post office LOCKED all the time!This is completely unacceptable behavior!Medical mask exemptions have been in place FEDERALLY ever since this covid mess started, yet they refuse to acknowledge it.

If I could give 0 stars I would. my packages have been coming in a week and half late along with my regular mail. witch puts my due date on bills close to time I receive them. even had the delivery person say they where blocked from dropping off packages my front drive is always wide open and clear. along with the two acres of front yard. vary vary disappointing.
If I could give this post office 0 stars I would. I went into this office December 4th, 2020 to mail a very time sensitive, small item to the UK. I wanted to mail it out global express which would have gotten to the UK in 3 days, but the teller said I could NOT mail global express for some reason? So the only option he gave me was priority mail international. I asked how long that would take to get to the UK and I was told 5-10 business days. My package didnt actually arrive to the UK until 27 days after I mailed it! I simply did not think it was fair to pay extra money specifically to arrive somewhere in a quicker method, for it to not arrive within the 5-10 days I was quoted. I reached out to usps to file a complaint, in which a man named David from this Denison post office had called me to discuss the matter. He said he was the post master and once I explained my situation to him, he immediately said they would not refund me for the extra money I paid to have my time sensitive package arrive quickly to the UK. He was very rude over the phone and didnt care to hear me out on anything I had to say. All I want is to be refunded back my $56 dollars I paid to have my package arrive within the 5-10 days I was quoted to get my item to the UK, that actually took 27 days to get to!! You guys advertise on regular priority mail, if it doesnt get to its destination in the timeframe quoted that buyers can get a refund so why would it be any different for priority mail international? I paid extra money for something to arrive somewhere in a quicker time frame and it did not arrive in the time frame specified, so I should receive my money back! Simple as that! This post office has terrible customer service, which is why I will no longer return here. I go to the Sherman post office now because they have great customer service and treat their customers with kindness and respect!
Ive been expecting a package and the tracking number says it was delivered 2 days ago but its certainly not here. There isnt any way to speak to an actual person either. This is the worst Ive ever experienced.Now, second package tracking says my second package was delivered on Friday. Again, it has not been delivered. Where are my packages??? Worst mail delivery ever!!!
The staff in the office is great, but the person delivering my mail can be... special.I should have received a package today.I watched as my mail was put in my mailbox without the mail person bringing my package to my front door. Then I got a notice from the Post Office saying he had no access.. 🤨 No access to my front door... I have no gate. Mr. Mail Person. You need to get out of the mail truck and place my package at my front door. Do your job! Ridiculous!

Dont move to Denison if you like getting mail, cant get any bills or other letters delivered. By the time the mailman finally gets it to your house their already past due.
The counter staff of this post office are really helpful. I was confused about the best way to ship some packages and the lady that was working the desk was as nice as can be as she explained everything to me.
Rural Carrier RT is the absolute best. She is the best.
The absolute worst 800 service that I have tried to use. It’s really awful!! I tried to call the Denison Tx. office & spent over five minutes trying to get past the automatic messaging. Apparently it doesn’t understand representative, human voice or person. It is really terrible.

The automated phone system sucks. You never get to talk to anyone about a package. They need to have people on the phones.
