I hate leaving bad reviews, but this one called for it...My husband works 2:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. 5 days a week and 4:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. on weekends. To put it shortly, we are a busy family of three with little time to spare. Over the weekend, we scheduled a carpet cleaning for the upcoming Thursday at 3:30.We rushed to move furniture and I spent two days deep cleaning our carpets and the rest of the house to prepare. By 3:05 we still hadnt seen, heard from, or been updated by the carpet man. So I called to check in. He was running late, had run out of wet pads, and was running behind due to add on jobs. I asked how long it would be and he said, Oh, about an hour or so.My husband was furious. I was disgruntled. As a professional, its important to notify clients when there is a delay or schedule change. We received none of these common courtesies. I understand running behind, but not telling anyone?!?! To say the least it really put a sour taste in our mouths and messed up our day. Definitely wont be going with A-1 again.

I made an appointment for 8:30am on a Wednesday. Having still not seen or heard from him by 8:50am, I called to check to make sure he was coming. He said he was about to call me because he wasnt sure if the appointment was for that morning or the next. I reminded him of the scheduled appointment, and he said hed come on over (hes only about 10 minutes north of me). By 10:00am, he still wasnt here and hadnt called. I called him and he said hed locked his keys in his van and was on his way. He finally arrived at my house by 11:00am and started cleaning. The quality of the work was pretty good (he was there until 3:00pm), but as I suspected, most of the stains re-appeared a few days later. To summarize, the guy did good work when he was here, but I wasnt intending on being there all day. Ill give him three stars because the negative punctuality issues were mostly evened out by the quality of the on-site work, even though as I said most of the stains reappeared the next day. I do not plan on using him again.

If I could give no stars I would. I missed school today to have my carpets cleaned at 1030. He called and said he would be about an hour late. Ok. Then 1400 rolls around and still a no show. After many calls he said that he could be here at 1830! It’s now 1746 and no show or call. What a wasted day! I moved all of my furniture out of all of the rooms for absolutely nothing!
