Always clean and spacious. I definitely enjoy the massages after my workouts as well.

Ive been a member since this locations opening . The staff is friendly, the equipment is maintained, and the bathrooms are kept clean.I do miss this location being open 24hrs though ! Are there plans to reopen 24hrs in the future ?

Its like a home away from home. A place where the atmosphere is motivating.

The facility is fine. The policies are terrible and I honestly regret ever signing up for this membership. Just know that if you ever need to cancel, youll have to go in in person, regardless of why youre cancelling. And theyll likely charge you a fee and make it as complicated as possible. I rarely leave poor reviews, but my experience with this membership has been horrible at two different locations and their policies are absolutely stuck in the 80s. Its not worth the hassle.

This place is only out to take your money. Even during covid they have very poor communication for billing and customer service inquiry. I am done and will let anyone else know who decides to go this route for fitness. To take a second look at the terms. They do not aware you of when your yearly membership fee is coming out. They just automatically take it. They care nothing about their customers and are more about money.

The DS PF might not be the closest one to my apartment but I go out of my way to go there bc its the best one around IMO. I Love the staff. I Love seeing the same crew every morning when I show up for my 330 am workout before I head to work. Im a plus size woman (for now 🤞🏼🙏🏼) and I feel extremely comfortable working out there. MUCH, much more so than Ive been at other gyms and even other PFS. It makes an incredible difference in my mentality at the gym as well as my workout itself. Id feel so much more insecure if I felt like people were staring at me and I certainly wouldnt really push myself. Its always VERY clean - even precovid & yes absolutely more so post covid. Most of the members (of course not everyone) do more than a decent job cleaning their machine after use. The Denham Springs, LA PF is my home gym for a reason; I absolutely recommend it!

Tried to cancel members like 2 years ago and they said it was canceled but they have still been charging me. They say you have to go in to cancel but my health wouldnt allow it till after they unfroze my account when the manager or whatever she is (Julia) canceled my membership on the phone just now. Why could they not do that before?!? I have already contacted my attorney because they are taking advantage of people who are having health problems. This is ridiculous. I am going to sue them unless they refund ALL MY MONEY THEY HAVE BEEN STEALING!

They booted my truck less than 45min while I was in planet fitness working out... i can understand No overnight truck parking but it wasn’t even a hour... We as people need to come together 400$ for a boot... I have kids and bills I have a good heart.. I could’ve easily move my truck with 2hours shopping notice driving trucks health is very important I stop at plant fitness at night because I know parking lots are empty but for someone to scam legit quick cash..Carmel don’t play for someone evilness

It was nice, clean, friendly plus everyone had on mask and was socially distancing.

Employees have youth-driven, unprofessional tactics in dealing with the public. Common sense is severely lacking, and attempted dominant behavior from employees towards members abounds. When the management is onsite, the employee behavior is more aggressive at the urging of the manager on duty. It’s an unfortunate case of young people being given a small amount of authority when they do not have the maturity to handle it. No judgement zone is a misrepresentation of this company. I’ve taken my business to Snap Fitness which has been a breath of fresh air regarding customer service.

It took me months to cancel my membership. I was given different information every time and was never allowed to speak with someone in upper management. My sons membership was on a different bank account, but for some reason was switched to my bank account without my knowledge almost causing it to be overdrawn. I never got a response. This tells me they dont take care of personal information and will make changes on a whim without informing anyone. Ill never sign up again to this location ever!To the response. I’ve sent two emails already and am not getting any response whatsoever.This is my proof of another attempt to cancel my membership. Im still getting charged. My emails are not being responded to. Im being ignored while Planet Fitness charges me for services I have not received. Return my money for the month of August and cancel my membership!Its now September 2, 2020 and Im still getting charged. In August they switched from my wifes bank account to my bank account. Now in September they decided to switch back to my wifes bank account! This has got to be illegal! For the sake of the public, do not give them your financial information. Look at all the complaints on the BBB website. It all involves the same thing.

Gym is kept up very well. Its always very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The Hydro beds are life! Theres tanning beds and a red light body enhancement bed. All are very nice (you have to pay $10 more a month to use, well worth it IMO) Tons of weight lifting machines and cardio options. The only negative things that I have to say is theres no classes.. Some yoga classes or something like that would be nice. One of the reasons I joined was to have a couple of appointments with the trainer to get on a great workout schedule and after a few times of going and just watching, he seems like he hates his job and doesnt want to be there.. So Ive never made an appointment with him which is disappointing. Other than that, if you just need somewhere to work out, its great. 👍

I’ve been going here for years. Great place to work out, but lately every single time I try to tan I either get placed in the wrong room, the employees forget to put the time in for the bed, or the rooms are extremely dirty. Today I was placed in a room for 9 minutes, and the bed wouldn’t start. I then call the front desk and am told to go to the bed next to it, so after getting redressed I go to the room next door and someone is inside of it tanning. Then I have to go to the front desk, and whoever is in the bed is using my tanning profile, so it says I can’t tan for another 24 hours. I then go to a new bed they put me in (I assume under someone else’s account since mine was now restricted from the other person using my tanning), and even though I was supposed to be put it for 9 minutes the bed shuts off at 3. Then I have an employee knocking on the door like I’m not supposed to be in there because he’s trying to put someone else in that room. I’m not even one to write reviews, but that was absolutely ridiculous. This has happened at least 10 times now, but this was by far the worst.

This is a great place if you like getting in there and hammering out a workout. It can sometimes be crowded in peak hours other than that it stays pretty open. The people are nice and helpful. I workout there 3 times a week so this place is very convenient and clean.

Great place to work out. Has a variety of things to do. Staff is always friendly and very helpful. Very clean place. Never feel like Im being judged or stared out. Have tanning beds and other massage chairs and Im a black card member and have never used these items so I dont know if these are great or not.

My favorite gym in town. I wish they would update their massage chairs though. They were not working one day. Only 1 was available.

I lost 50lbs here in less than 6 months! staff is really great. Just need to up their game on maintenance a bit.

I thought when I signed a contract it was for a year and I would have to renew it but I have been paying for well over a year and was given false information about cancelling so I have been charged another month and they will not give me a refund! Literally just go anywhere else but here. Every employee gives different information.

Closed my account tonight, because of the rude employee behind the desk. I have a membership that allows me to bring guest, she would not let my 15-year-old son in because he did not have an ID. He has been working out with me for quite a while here. Her comment was that the other employees have not been following the rules if they let him in before.

Awesome gym. always clean and normally isn’t too crowded. But the staff at the front desk are always rude and act like they don’t want to be there.

Great PLACE to WORKOUT. Prices are GREAT. I love the stand up tanning and the total body booths. They have massage chairs and beds But I havent tried them yet. Only complaint is I wish the employees would clean the tanning and the total body booths MORE OFTEN. They are generally pretty bad EVERY TIME I go. ALTHOUGH I would clean them either WAY I still feel nasty wiping everyone elses bacteria off before I get in. Several contagious some incurable can be caught from THEM..I told them but didnt seem to HELP...OVER ALL PLACE SEEMED TO GET CLEANER BUT NOT THE BOOTHS.

Place is clean. Rarely have broken equipment. Audio from tvs work at different intervals. Bathrooms very clean. Front desk people range from great to so so.

Update 5/15/20: All of the other gyms were prepared to open today when Gov. Edwards reopens state. Planet fitness was not. I called and they said maybe end of next week. Thats unacceptable. They sure took our money when it was due.

Easily accessed location, numerous rows of equipment, friendly staff and far more than you get for twice as much elsewhere. Gets pretty hot in the summer bc I think the large floor to ceiling windows at the front and they dont blast the ac bc its a super huge building so just dress cool. Bring a drink or buy one. If youve got the extra money the more expensive pass can get you unlimited use of the massage chair with power jets, tanning, and a few other things.

Joined this gym a year ago and Im very happy with the the choice of machines and the number of machines, the staff are nice and friendly and the place is very clean. The reason Im not giving 5 stars is that the TV are frequently not working correctly. The picture is always there but there is no sound for some of the channels and it changes from day to day, some days some work other days others work. This is very annoying and frustrating since I look forward to watching certain programs at certain times and it seems like something is always wrong. Ive mentioned to the desk staff many times and they sympathize but say there is nothing they can do someone from the outside has to come in to fix. Why cant Planet Fitness get a sound system that will work all the time, this is most annoying to me and others members. PLEASE FIX THE SOUND SYSTEM SO THAT IT WORKS ALL THE TIME. THANK YOU.

I would not recommend this gym if you are expecting good customer service or friendly staff.My father, and my fiance decided to go to the gym together on my second trip to the gym, ever. I had only just signed up and did not understand the rules behind bringing only one guest per visit. I was told i could bring as many guests as i liked, but not that it could only be one at a time.So, when all three of us arrived we were greeted in a very dry manner by a front desk girl named Cat. Who told me that I was only allowed one guest per visit. I explained that this is not according to Tyler who signed me up, she said well, i guess he told you wrong to which i said it was very disappointing. She then turned my father away, not offering a guest pass, not offering a tour or any solution of any kind.upon further investigation, i see that there was a clear cut solution! 10.00 for a guest pass. Which is not only overpriced, but was not offered.no apology was given for the clear cut inconvenience, and after being turned away, she signed my fiance up for a guest pass with me. While singing the waver, Cat turns to me and says if she gets hurt here it will be you fault.As I said, 1 out of 5, terrible experience, Cat was dry and unfriendly and did not seek any type of resolution to our situation which could have been easily remedied with a little customer service and friendly disposition. We were not even given a smile.(Tyler and Josh - 5 out 5 stars!! extremely friendly, great disposition and very very helpful. If i owned a gym i would seek out people like Tyler and Josh to help run it. they clearly enjoy what they do.)(The gym itself is clean and has many desirable amenities)

I rarely review or leave feedback; and I try to never crack under pressure; but today when I was fully convinced that some low-life had stolen my wallet, I was beside myself to say the least. When I ask for help from the front desk crew at DS Planet Fitnes, they were champions. Thank you JON, RACHEL, LENNON and especially BYRON who took his time to make not one, but two in-depth sweeps of the mens locker room with me in search of my wallet and lifting gloves of which were eventually (as Rachel tryed to tell me) recovered where I had left them. Oh yes, I forgot to say a special thanks to the manager, Jon who walked with me next door to the sleepy lil typically unmanned dollar store, where when I asked about my stuff seemed to yawn as they shrugged their shoulders. Furthermore, the DSPF manager, Jon reviewed footage on the spot to get to the bottom of this world shaker experience of mine. Great job you guys. Cant thank you enough. Employees are very rude and will not listen or fix the problem. My card never works at the one in denham ever I’m a black card member and it never works. My wife’s work every time but mine dose not and no one will very try to fix it. The girl working today had the biggest problem about it and had the biggest attitude about the card not working and blaming my wife for the problem. When I don’t see how it’s are fault when it’s your computer the dose not read my card.

This gym is judegemental. Ive recently lost 130 pounds working out and trying to get my body right. Just the other day I was working out and doing some shoulder workouts and went up in weight then would jump up and down to burn the fat. On my last set I grunted a little because like i said I went up in weight. Then this guy comes up and tells me to keep it down while im right in the most crucial part of my work out. I thought this was a judgement free zone not a library. I never throw weights and really focus on controlling my movements to not clang the weight down. I thought grunting was a part of working out and its going to happen if your actually pushing yourself. The audacity to come up to me in the middle of my workout and tell me to be keep it down after a grunt is just crazy. Id never do that to someone. It throws everything off rythm. Definatly looking for a BETTER gym that doesnt judge me for grunting on my last rep.
