Ridiculous wait times. I understand online check in, but the wait is ridiculous. As the only person in the lobby and a stylist gets finished I would expect service. Instead they decided to take a break even though the computer has everyone on a 2+ hour wait. When I asked about the open spot, I was told we are not robots. I hope that lady goes to another business and has terrible service and when she asks I hope they tell her they are not robots and that she can wait for help. I have been coming here for a long time but I think I will find a new place to start getting my haircut. The wait times and rudeness have only gotten worse. Shane on the mess...

Always nice and friendly. I have bad anxiety and its not bad for me. Can watch TV while you get a haircut. Was seen as soon as I walked in. Impressed. Will be back.

I always have a difficult time with matching a haircut to a photo. But, I decided to give this place a try based on other reviews. For once, the hairdresser, Brandi, was able to match my photo. She was very helpful and offered many tips to help me style it the way I want. Plus, the wait time was only 5 minutes. I highly recommend Brandi!! I will definitely go back to her and only her.

One of the worst hair cuts I’ve ever received along with my child’s both hair stylist didn’t listen asked for a bald fade for me and my son one side of his head is shaved to the top and one side is half way decent and mine isn’t even faded I have globs is hair that was visible just patched and I asked to clean this up and nothing do not come here if you do don’t get Melinda or Sharon

Had to call several times for someone to come to the front and do their job rather than chatting with co workers in the back. When I finally got checked in, someone else walked in and he was taken ahead of me. I used to come every week but because of your poor service I will not be returning.

The service is usually hit or miss at the Denham location, wait times are usually pretty long even if you check in online and the cuts are good if you get the right stylist. Today wasn’t much different (35 min wait). However, the stylist was AMAZING!She was confident from the beginning, and that brings an extra level of comfort. On Monday, I used the mobile app to check in. My stylist that day was Ashton. She is always very polite and professional. She knows how I like my hair cut and always does a great job. She had mentioned to me before I was using the wrong shampoo, I asked for her recommendation in which she was very knowledgeable of the product. I would recommend her to anyone.

All I can Say I won’t be back! Was in and out of the chair in 3 min. Hair is not cut good and left with wet hair. The place was dirty also.. zero stars

Definitely recommend the location. I have curly hair, which tends to be a pain to get a good cut on, and all of the stylists that Ive had here have done a very good job with my difficult hair type.

I took my son to get his hair cut and beard trim we asked the lady to give him a fade and trim his beard! She was in such a hurry she shaved all his hair off and trimmed his beard down to the skin! Very unprofessional!! Will not go back!!!

I got a hair cut, shampoo and beard trim. Service was good and wait time was short. Environment was pleasant.

Was to busy with a sales pitch on shampoo and forgot to cut part of my hair.Really debated letting her trim my beard but she said she was good. Almost shaved the whole thing off and did not follow my lines and made it way too thin.

I am pretty sure my husbands stylist name was Ashley. I have to give her a big shout out, my husbands hair looks great. Thank you for a job well done. I would give 10 stars if could.

Seemed like they were in a hurry to get everyone out of the shop even though there was about 2 hours left till closing. The barber was also extremely rude.

SPORTS CLIPS Denham Springs was great but all really because of the excellent stylist Brandi B. She is always Soo very nice and does such a great job overall.customer service A++ She Always greets you when you come in the door and makes sure you feel welcomed as a customer. I checked in online and showed up at the time the app advised me to. When I arrived I noticed that my name was not on the board. I brought this to the attention of my stylist (the same person I always go to) and she put me at the bottom of the list. I was there with my son and we were both getting haircuts. There was a HOUR between our cuts.There were several people that had checked in and were not there when their names were called. This just backed things up even worse because they would allow these people to be next whenever they decided to show up. And this is something that happens every single time I go there to get a haircut. My stylist finally came to me and asked if me and my son wanted to get something to eat and maybe come back later because she had another client that had been waiting. From the time I checked in to the time I walked out (without getting my haircut) was nearly 4 hours.Sportclips in Denham Springs has lost me and my families business

My experiences at the Denham Springs location have overall been good!!! First off let me say Sarah is awesome!!! She usually cuts my hair however about a month ago I went in an a woman named Madeline cut my hair I believe Sarah was on lunch break but I was in a hurry. I should have got up an walked out if I knew what I was about to go through. She proceeds to try an tell me how I should have my hair cut, An that she’s not sure about how short I was saying!!! I’m sorry i thought it was my head!!! She starts saying it’s really fine hair. First off I don’t have fine hair. But like an idiot I let her do it. Only to be disappointed!! My hair was a mess when I got home in good lighting I noticed she missed long pieces of hair plus she didn’t even out my bangs. All of this after bragging she’s been cutting hair for 25 years!! Yeah ok!!!! Anyway word of caution don’t let Madeline cut your hair!!!! Ask for Sarah she is amazing an gets it right the first time!!! Way better stylist!!!!

I have been going here for a couple of years. I used the app to check in. Today, I was “on deck” and they moved my appointment without telling me as I sat right there...adding another 15 minutes! The girls didn’t say a word....not a word. So, I just left. I won’t be returning. I have purchased products and I am a good tipper. You have to treat people right if you want to keep them as customers. I was told I would hear from the manager (see below) but that never happened.

Ive been here 5 or 6 times with my boyfriend for a haircut. There has only been two time he has gotten a good haircut and good service. All other times it has been a mediocre haircut and decent service, or a bad haircut and bad service. We just left with a decent haircut but the service was awful. The stylist was so rough she scratched the back of my boyfriends neck and when he told her what she was doing she became sarcastic and rude. When he asked her to get the rest of his neck she barely grazed his neck, asking in a sarcastic way if it was hurting. I do not recommend this location.

Melinda did a great job. She listened to what we were looking for in the hair cut and perfected it!! My son loves it, its perfect for summer.

Ive been to a lot of sportsclips along south Louisiana as I travel a lot. The experience at this location was one of the worst Ive had at sportsclips. The lady cutting my hair was very rough with the comb and clippers constantly scratching my scalp and neck. I asked for the hair to be washed and she rushed through again scratching my scalp with nails and not the usual messaging type hair wash I usually receive. I will not be back. Ill stick to other locations.

I am having to edit this review from a five-star to a three-star. My most recent visit was horrible and it would deserve a 1 star. I went there today and I wish I could tell you the name of the person that cut my hair but she did not have a name tag or a name at her booth. It only took about two minutes to know that this visit was not going to go well. She was not friendly or polite in fact she seemed very very rushed. Instead of asking me to move my head she forcefully moved it for me not realizing that some people have neck issues like myself. She did not trim my sideburns and the whole visit including washing my hair took approximately 12 minutes. She actually cut above my hairline in the back. When washing my hair it took maybe 2 minutes or less. Rinse, soap and get out of my chair oh and by the way dry your own hair and throw away the towel. (Did i suddenly 😳 work there) I normally tip 5 to 10 dollars but she did not deserve the 2 dollar tip. Maybe she had some personal problems 🤔 but leave it at home. I will definitely ask for someone else if I decide to go there again.

Never consistent in service. Been 5 times with son. Hated all haircuts but the first. Wait is always very long too. Son did love massage upgrade. But not worth the bad haircut that lasts for weeks.

One of the best run sports clips in the state. Always quick with a great system in place.

There might be a little but of a wait every now and then but that should tell you something about return customers. Never had a bad experience at this sports clips. Michelle is the one I prefer as she takes her time and is very thorough.

First time there. And it was a horrible expirience from the moment I entered the door. There was no greeting and stylist just blankly stared at me until I spoke out (I was the only customer too) rudely was pointed to sign in. Got attended and she could not have cut my hair fast enough. Seriously, she was the Flash of stylist. And I was the only customer. She couldnt take her time? And to top it off, I was charged 19 bucks for a highfade. She was not a barber so she could legally not use a blade or razor. Though from their Google pics/reviews you would never guess

The best place to get youre hair cut in Denham Springs is the Plaza on Hwy 16 by Tracy! Shes the best stylist in Denham Springs hands down. Usually sport clips are great. This is the second sport clips Ive been to that has sucked. I got a bad haircut and the sheet thats supposed to keep hair from getting all over you was covered in hair so instead of keeping hair off of me it covered me in it, someone elses hair at that. RIDICULOUS.

Sportsclips is what it is. Walk in, middle of the road haircut but people with just a little experience, and a hot towel. A bit overpriced but like a fast food restaurant, you know what to expect.This location needs some retooling. I pay my bill, tip the girl, and head down the road. Im checking the work in my review mirror and see not only has she cut a sideburn completely off. She only cut one. Back I go to get her to fix it. After a few moments of floundering I just do it myself with the clippers. Now Im stuck with the Forest Gump until my hair grows out.
