Great 24/7 gym in the area and they take my prime fitness membership with no extra cost! I like this area in the back. Powerlifting and cross fit friendly but got lots of machines too. Took one star cause the young lady at the front office kept insisting that I needed to provide her with different number not just my prime fitness membership, but I went at different day and another lady took care of me with no problem.

Im an older overweight woman. I am not at all intimidated; the atmosphere is welcoming, comfortable and very helpful. I feel perfectly at home. I cant wait to see where Gabes Fitness takes me. My Doctor recommended this gym to me and told me that Gabe was a great guy. My Doctor was right. So Happy with this health benefit!!!

Some machines have torns on padding and the ac is off most of the time . Treadmills have torns on belts. Puddings on floor are bubbled up, tripping hazard u always have to watch out.

I was in Deming for a travel PT contract and joined Gabes fitness. It was a great place to meet people and the gym was clean and had a variety of equipment. I was impressed with the knowledge of the instructors of the group classes. Nick, was knowledgeable on the principles of safe exercise and was always attentive to class members to provide modifications to meet their skill level and help prevent injury. His class was by far the BEST exercise class I have ever participated in. During the gym closure due to COVID-19, Nick kept our class together virtually and provided workouts for us to do on our own and home and kept the class motivated to keep exercising! If I return to Deming, I will for sure join Gabes fitness again! Thank you to everyone at the gym for making my stay in Deming enjoyable!

The only gym I go to whenever I visit Deming. Gabe has all the equipment you need to work out and its also conveniently located in the heart of town.

Simply put- Gabes is the best gym Ive ever gone to. The gym itself has every piece of equipment you could possibly need and all of it is clean and well maintained. But what really sets Gabes apart is the atmosphere. Gabe has really done a great job of keeping a gym where everybody is welcome- from people just starting their fitness journey to more advanced bodybuilders and powerlifters. The staff is friendly and helpful, and Gabe himself makes a point to make everybody feel welcome and appreciated. It I could give 10 stars, I would.

Guerro’s line dancing class here is the best fitness class I’ve ever been to! The dances are so fun to learn and the music bops. Every teacher (especially Guerro) is so welcoming and high energy! You WILL sweat through your shirt in this class (and have a blast doing so). I don’t live in Deming anymore, but if I did, you’d know where to find me every Tuesday and Thursday. Listening to Toma Toma today and missing Gabe’s Fitness❤️

I stopped in a few times while staying in Deming for travel. What a fantastic gym! Spacious, clean, and great equipment (especially the free weights/CrossFit area!). Gabe was really friendly and I felt very welcome. I wish I had a gym like this in my hometown.

Gabes Fitness is a nice, smallish gym facility located in Deming, New Mexico. The fitness equipment is adequate to meet most peoples workout needs and includes cardio equipment, free weights, and Nautilus style equipment. My rating of the gym is reduced due to the fact that there are no showers/locker room facilities, but most importantly, the staff, including the owner are consistently on their cell phones and tend to present as largely approachable and unavailable to members. I actually fell off an elliptical machine and was in a fair amount of pain, clutching my knee on the floor. The owner, Gabe, was glued to.his cellphone and issued a quick look in my direction, followed by zero CUSTOMER CENTERED FOCUS. He simply continued his phone call, while other gym members came to my aid. Even when I left the gym following my fall and passed by the owner (Gabe), he failed to inquire about my condition. Not so much as a simple, Are you okay?, which soured my perception of the owner and ultimately led to my decision to terminate my membership. I would like to note that not all staff are inaccessible or unconcerned with members, and there are two men that Ive interacted with who were very friendly, professional and available to members (wish I knew their names), but unfortunately their contributions to the gym were overshadowed by the owner and those employees who follow his example.

Gabe’s is that place. That place you can go where everyone is so helpful and nice and they know you by name. Gabe always makes it a point to say hello. This is coming from someone who was intimidated to join a gym. I joined because I was going to be in town for a couple months and they had CrossFit. I’ve never done CrossFit before and was a bit nervous to try. Nick and Lisa are the instructors and have been amazing. I’ve learned a lot in the short time I was there. Plus you leave there with a killer workout. Just wanted to say thank you and you guys set the bar high for the next gym I go to.

My son and myself went to Gabes for some info on training. Gabe and his staff were really helpful and informative. My son starts training next week
