Facility, staff, level of service, were all excellent. The only negative is the amount of pre-appointment notifications and hoops to jump through just to get the appointment process complete. I do understand that this is partly due to newly implemented Covid protocols, and also to minimize the impact from patients that make appointments and are then No-Shows. However for me a lot it was redundant and wasted time communicating back and forth after all necessary requirements had been appropriately completed.
With Covid and the Delta variant raging in Florida going inside to a usually crowded health care diagnostic facility would only increase ones anxiety. However DCA has streamlined its approach to its patients with a thorough online pre-registration process and making access to the facility easier and safer by bringing in people when staff is ready to do their testing. My recent visit for a CT scan was completed on time and most efficiently in less than 20 minutes. Kudos to your effective, efficient and pleasant staff.
There always very nice at Dignostic Center Of American. This time the only negative thing I have to say is the wait time in the parking lot was over 25 minutes and my appointment was at 4:00 pm. It took only a few minutes to do the tests I needed (the staff is very quick and friendly) but had to wait so very long and the wait time was over 45 minutes to hour until everything was completed.Never had to wait so long ever before just to get X-Rays that took less than 5 minutes tops.Maybe due to more COVID cases here in my area was the problem. Last year in October, November the wait time was extremely quick. Thank you for your excellent care still!Update July 2021: During the recent uptake in Covid cases the wait to get in once you arrive is a bit slow but the X-Ray department is fast and very helpful. Thank you for always being concerned with my diagnostic needs.
I took my 85 year old mother for an ekg. We followed their covid protocol instructions to the letter. Arrived 15 minutes early. Texted when we arrived, and received an auto response to wait in car until they notify us to come in. 35 minutes later, I texted that we are still waiting. An HOUR AND A HALF LATER, we are still waiting! I walked inside and was told we were marked a No-Show! Fortunately, the man at the front desk (Kevin, I think) tried to make it right. (But only after telling us we shouldve come in earlier. )
The service was very efficient with minimal wait time. The staff was very professional. I particularly was impressed with the intake process.
As soon as I arrived at DCA, I was able to check in to my appointment within 10 minutes. I was anxious about getting a MRI brain scan with contrast but the technician made me feel comfortable getting the IV which I hardly felt. The MRI was more open than enclosed which was another plus for me, and it went quicker than I expected! The staff was very friendly! Donald, Anthony, Katherine and the front reception were all wonderful and pleasant in helping me. A stressful situation ended up becoming a very smooth process.
Excellent check in and entrance system to minimize waiting inside. However, I had to wait over 30 minutes past my appointment time, which is why I rated 4 stars instead of 5 stars. CT Scan took little time and I was in and out quickly. Report was available within 2 days. Overall, an efficient, convenient operation.
Making my appointment was a horror. The person I spoke with could barely speak English understandably. I spent over 20 minutes answering questions and then he gave me a date and time. I was uncertain so I called back and spoke with someone else who told me I did not have an appointment. Good thing I called back! Or I would have shown up without an appointment. The second person did make an appointment for me.My registration/scheduling experience is 0 stars.The day of my imaging I arrived at the appointed time - 15 minutes before my appointment. Check in was quick and I wastaken very shortly after my appointment time.The tech was excellent. She is the reason I am giving this facility 3 stars - on her own she is a 5 star tech!!
Jenny who does the mammograms is always so kind. Last year I went in for a lump I found and she really comforted me and calmed me. She was very pleasant and so nice. Great asset to your team in Delray.

Bad check in. Said to check in online and sit in car to when you get there. Didnt happen. Had to go inside and register again after doing it the night before online. After MRI was done, they said in 15 min the disc would be ready. I said ill come back later that day. 3 hrs later i went to pick it up, not made yet. They forgot about it. Supose to be easy check in and not be near people, and text to car to come in. It didnt happen.
Everything was good except the chairs in the waiting room were difficult to get up from. Not enough chairs with arms
Rarely is there ever an issue getting in and out. My last trip on 8/16/21 was by far the quickest for my annual CT scan. I am switching my mammogram and Bone Density to DCA this year. I will be interested in seeing the difference from my usual testing place for these tests.
The front desk greeter was very pleasant. I had a short wait until I was called in to take the test I was there for. The technician who administered the test explained what they were going to do. It was a good experience. I have been there several times and have always had good experiences.

My appointment was very early in the morning. I was treated to a cheery staff. The MRI tech was very humorous which made the atmosphere calm.It really got my day of to a good start.
From the scheduling to the end of my appointment, everything went very smoothly. The staff member who made my appt was very efficient in finding the earliest appts (I had several diagnostics) with the most convenient times & location for me. The only thing that was a little lacking was that the staff was a little too professional & not as friendly and reassuring. They were all very focused on their jobs, which I definitely appreciate, but there should be a bit more focus on the interactions. (The greeting, stating their name, maybe an explanation of what their function is and what is going to take place) Don’t get me wrong, there was no rudeness, just a bit too mechanical, if you will. The time it took to get in and out was great! I didn’t feel like I really waited much at all.
Technical difficultiesOperator ineptitude forced me to have 2 additional mammograms. Then the radiologist cancelled a further ultrasound, but the radiology department sent a letter asking me why I havent had it.I have NEVER had a great experience here, and some have been downright awful. Think surly, insulting MRI technicians, etc. Would not recommend. I would never return except -- insurance.
Check in was very simple . Waited like 20 minutes in the parking lot . Had an 8 am appointment, was little slow taking me back . But once back there mri was very simple and easy to get done . Always a pleasure with all employees at the Delray location .
The actual individual who did the MRI was very pleasant and professional; however it took me five days to get an appointment and the soonest appointment I could get was at 8:10 at night. Then they said that I could pick up the report two days later. I called that morning and only got their voicemail which asked me for information and said someone would call me back to let me know when it would be ready and the recording informed me that it would take 24 hours to get.Someone called my twice from the facility and no one was on the other line. They never called again that day. I tried again and got the same voicemail from before.There is no follow through!
If you go through the online process of registration, including uploading photos of your ID and Insurance, the process is smooth and seamless. Because of COVID, youre asked to wait in your car and respond to a text message on your mobile to let them know youve arrived. I was called within 5 minutes of arriving, walked in, was met inside and immediately taken for my X-Ray. It is a well-organized, large, and very pleasant diagnostic center, with updated equipment, a nice environment, and a staff that keeps things moving.

I arrived my appointment at 8:15 am on a Saturday on time. I was checked in and called for my Mammo in less than 5 minutes and was done by 8:35. Always courteous and professional.
Everyone from the front desk to the gentlemen working in the MRI room at the location were super friendly and helpful, a truly remarkable experience! It was after my visit where I was disappointed. Diagnostic Centers of America has always been a very excellent and professional Service for my individual health needs and getting MRIs and x-rays etc. The staff is very professional courteous and knowledgeable and help you to get through whatever imaging that youre going to receive on your visit I highly recommend them!
I was told by a message from DCA to wait outside until they called me. My appt. was 9:15 AM, By 9:45 after sending 2 messages I had arrived with no further response. I went inside and found out they had no record of me being outside. We deided omething went wrong with their system after I SHOWED them on my phone. After that I was taken care of fairly promptly and all went well.
I was treated very well. The two techs overseeing my MRI were beyond friendly. They got me comfortable before beginning. I have hardware along my spine which distorts the image. They tried all 3 settings to get the best possible pictures. My only complaint was it took 40 minutes to get a copy of my disc. I would certainly return in the future for any imaging.
Extremely well organized and well manages. Spotlessly clean and handles patients professionally and courteously.

The only thing I can complain about is all the pre visit forms to be filled out. I spoke to someone over the phone a few days prior to my visit, said he would take care of it, went over several questions and answers and assured me that was all that was necessary. The day before my appointment I was texted 10 pages to go through all over again. This is absolutely ridiculous. There has to be a better way. Once I got through the reception area all went well and I have no complaints.
I just wish it did not take as long as it did once you are in the building. The people are wonderful. The tech was so sweet and caring
I went in to have a HIDA scan. I booked the appointment over the phone and received updates through text prior to the visit. I was able to submit my checkin paperwork on my phone days before going in so it saved me a bunch of time the day of. Upon arrival, my temperature was checked and masks were required. The facilities were clean and the wait time was short. Brandol was my tech and he was very nice and efficient. I get nervous when it comes to needles and he was gentle and friendly. I was curious and asked a lot of questions throughout the procedure. He was extremely informative and easy to talk to. He made the entire experience easy and tolerable. The room is very cold so I would wear warm clothes. I would recommend this facility.

The actual MRI of my knee procedure was performed by a friendly and efficient technician. After the MRI, I requested a copy of the CD which was given to me promptly. Unfortunately, I had to wait an exceedingly long time prior to being called in for the procedure.
I had an MRI last week at DCA. Every employee I came in contact was excellent. Front desk, tech assistant who brought me to MRI prep room,, MRI tr h who inserted needle for contrast and MRI tech preforming test, I even received a call from my doctor’s office with results awhile after I returned home with results.Thank you DCA employees:

This was my first visit to this DCA. As with other visits, the check in was handled on line, and the process for entering and having my testing done worked flawlessly.Your staff thoroughly explained each step and it went as they described. I happily and gladly recommend DCA to anyone who has a choice in test centers.
As I mentioned to the technician administering the test, if you have to have medical testing, this is an excellent place to do it. The beautiful new surroundings complemented by the efficient, personable service, made for a very good experience. Highly recommended.

Drs are terrific. their staff is totally incompetent. they change your appointments. they make and cancel your appointment. they never piut you through to a manager. they submit bills to your insurance for procedures that havent occurred. very inefficient office staff.

Was scheduled to get an MRI with and without contrast for 5/8/2021. We had planned a trip out of town that weekend 5/7-5/9 for Mother’s Day but because my symptoms had just progressed my doctors and I felt it was important to get the MRI done as soon as possible. On 5/7/2021 at 10:30pm at night I received a call that the radiologist would not be at the facility (Boca) at that time (6:30am) where I was getting the imaging done and they needed a radiologist for the contrast dye. So she informed me that she could bump me to a later time of 9am. I was frustrated but agreed. We had already lost the Friday night for our vacation but I knew this was important. Then at almost 11pm she called back to tell me that her manager said they could not double book me and I would have to reschedule for the following week. Again, frustrated I agreed to reschedule for 5/11 at 8:50am in Delray.Once at the facility, the staff was nice and everything but then they told me that I was not getting an MRI with contrast and only getting an MRI without contrast and that they didn’t have the order from my neurologist saying I needed contrast. I had two orders: 1) from a specialist who wanted an MRI without contrast with NeuroQuant and 2) my main Neurologist who wanted an MRI with and without contrast. When I booked, they said they were able to merge the two orders - otherwise, I would have just called my specialist to send an updated order. So it appeared that during the transfer, they lost my Neurologist’s order and only had the specialist’s order. They called my neurologist and he told them to just go ahead with the MRI without contrast then.The staff was pleasant and the technician or radiologist that conducted my MRI was very nice and made me laugh. But I lost a day with my parents due to their scheduling ineptitude. And I might need to go for another MRI with contrast instead of getting everything done all in one shot.
My Mammogram was quick and easy. In and out in about 20 minutes. The staff I dealt with could not have been more pleasant.
I was able to register on line, which cut out waiting time. I was taken within a few minutes of my arrival. Tech lady was friendly and efficient. Best of all I received great results! Thank you!
I was very pleased with my experience with Diagnostic Centers of America in Delray beach, Florida. Due to the Covid pandemic they sent me a text asking me to text them when I arrived and stay in my car until they asked me to come in. Within 5 minutes I was invited to come inside. I was happy to see that they take your temperature upon arrival, have social distancing, did a quick intake at the front desk, and gave me the option of waiting in my car or sitting inside where the seats were alternately taped off for social distancing. I took a seat and within three minutes I was called to go for my chest x-ray. That procedure took all of 2 minutes and then I was able to leave. The staff was very pleasant and I appreciated all the efforts they took to ensure my health and safety.
Theres good reasons why so many physicians refer their patients to DCA: Great COVID-19 protocols, courteous and professional staff, prompt communication to the doctor, and physician access to DCAs portal so the doctor caran personally review the images. And for me the patient, all of this helps ensure my quality of care!

I had a closed MRI of the brain for diagnostic purposes and I found the entire process easy, user-friendly, efficient. The staff is calm, listening, and knowledgeable. The facility is not only clean but has an open, spacious atmosphere. The use of natural sunlight, large windows, gardens conveys a feeling of being outside. I would like to commend three staff members especially: Catalina, who tried to draw my blood, got me on the first stick but there was no blood. I am a notorious hard stick. Instead of using me as a pincushion, she got a senior phlebotomist. She didnt let ego obscure patient comfort. And most of us have encountered someone who cant or wont ask for help. She was wonderful. The man who did get blood, Solomon, had an easy manner and very deft fingers. The MRI technician, Peter, actually explained the machine, validated my claustrophobia and while Catalina handed me a button to push in case I needed something, Peter let me choose music to listen to, gave me an eye mask and a speciaI non-metal mask, and spoke to me often to check on how I was doing. The up-to-date machine was faster, wider and higher than one at a local trauma center. It went much smoother and easier than anticipated. If you have to have a closed MRI, Diagnostic Centers of America is the right choice. By the way, the results were fine.

Front staff was not friendly at all. Not only did I need to wear a mask, get my temperature taken but I had to walk around with a label that said screened on it too. Got my Star of David is what I told my roommate. He rolled his eyes in understanding. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN.
When I got there & sent the arrived test it took a long time for someone to answer. When I tried sending a message, the system wouldnt accept it. Finally someone acknowledge me. I waited a very short time as my paper work was completed on-line except tor copies of d/l & ins. card. Jeanne was great. All her explanations are very comforting, even though I had a number of mammos done before. Her treatment of my body was very respectful. Thank you Jeanne for treating me like a human.
My appt was moved up by 4 hours. I was grateful. I was taken w/i 10 minutes. Had ultrasound done by pleasant female. All my questions answered.
The people were friendly and nice. The only challenge I had was they had to stick me 3 times to be able to draw blood. That was the first time that has happened to me. Was not pleased about that.

Great experience and great staff. However the computerized forms didn’t tell me that the back of my insurance card was necessary even though there is no important information on it and let me submit the form however when I got to the facility, they needed to take my license and insurance card again which was a little bit inconvenient since I had already spend time doing it before arriving. Filling out the computerized forms themselves are tedious and time-consuming as well as the 14 minute conversation required to make my appointment. I answered the same screening questions and demographic information and insurance information and ordering doctors information twice. It seemed like a lot of red tape and redundant effort in order to get a 30 second x-ray.
Front desk associates were not the most friendly and inviting but my Mammogram technician was AMAZING! The sweetest most caring radiology related technician I have ever come across 🙌🏼
I was instructed to arrive 15 mins prior which I did and text ARRIVED, which I did and got the confirmation to stay in the car until called. 10 minutes passed and still nothing then I get another text saying “you have not checked in for your appointment “ so their system wasn’t working. I showed the female checking me in who couldn’t care less. My appointment ran 30 minutes late on a work day when we’re super busy. I mean why even give people appointments if they don’t stick to the time? I had even completed all the pre-screening in the portal too. Terrible.
Service and precautionary measures were taken to take care of everyone’s health and safety. I was done with 4 tests in one hour! I was taken care of immediately, preregistered on line and registered online. I was checked in immediately and was taken care of by very caring, knowledgeable and efficient staff.

Personnel were professional and I was treated with kindness throughout my visit. I would have rated my visit as a 5 star occurance however my doctors failure to sign his order for my tests caused additional waiting and discomfort. A call by staff to his office (on a Saturday) finally received a response from a covering physician. Perhaps that order should have been previously reviewed?
The care I received during my brain and cervical spine MRI was outstanding. Both technicians were very compassionate and made sure I was well cared for and comfortable.

Excellent intake process. Social distancing maintained. This is a good facility, but like all places where younger millennials work--they have to realize we older folks NORMALLY dont hear perfectly, so we dont hear much at all when you speak to us thru your mask! Even w hearing aids, its difficult. (Trust me, youll see whats its like in 30 years.) So PLEASE SPEAK LOUDLY WHEN WEARING YOUR MASK!
Used text messaging to pre-register days before. They texted me when it was time to come in, and someone was waiting to take me back for my test. Place is immaculate, efficiently run. Everyone is nice. Great experience.

Front office staff was great. woman who did the mammogram was gruff and hurried. she had zero bedside manner. i felt like a number not a person. unless i can see another technician, i would not go back.

The Diagnostic Center of Delray Beach is extremely professional and I just love to go there for all my diagnostic issues. They are always mindful of making sure the appointments are scheduled so people dont have to wait long periods of time.

The mri was fine. However the front desk was a different story. Came in 5/27 on Thursday to get an MRI, left in the middle of my shift at work, beacause my Dr ordered this stat! To my surprise the lady said it was tomorrow on Friday the 28 th!!! Which was the Wrong information. I left went back to work. Called my Dr.s office. They call you back in disbelief and arranged another for 4:40 . So I left my work again . I finally received an Mri! Whew what a sick hard working person has to go through! I also get charged an incorrect amount . And different amounts depending where I go. Boynton charged me 79.00 . I called my insurance its supposed to be 31.00 . Delray charged me 50 something dollars ! So Ill have to make more phone calls and straighten that out too. This is to much! Its harder to handle when a person doesnt feel well. If people would take the time to listen, slow it down some and not multitask so much, efficiently might take over and less mistakes. Better for everyone especially the sick.

I had an MRI and it went fine.
Worst customer service ever, I recently had an appointment scheduled for the end of the day, which meant I would only miss 1 hour of work, at 5:45 the day before my appointment they called me and told me that the appointment had to be canceled because they only scheduled one of the 2 test that I needed, I rescheduled my test and the only available appt was for the middle of the day unless I wanted to wait for the next month I took the earliest available which meant I had to miss 3 hours from work, I choose health over work. When I arrived at the appointment I was told Oh the Radiologist canceled your appointment and said the additional test arent necessary, no one bothered to call me before I arrived to tell me that my appointment had been canceled. Very disappointed with this experience.

As a physician I was angered and dismayed by the booking process. I was assured that they have all the info including doctors order, however they called me at 7:30 pm to inform me that they do not have an order for my 8:30 pm appointment when I was already driving to DCE . My doctors office was close at this hour and I did not have my scheduled MRI. Poor, not caring service with no respect for the patient.

Making the appointment was a pleasure. They were kind and friendly and very helpful. Getting there the parking was adequate for many vehicles. The front desk staff were very professional, fast and friendly. With this Covid-19 many people are extra freaky and they just dealt with it.
