If any customer decides to use the merchant offered financing option (Synchrony Bank), please beware. I opted to finance a portion of my purchase because there was a “zero interest” offer available for a year. Sounds pretty good, right? No, at the end of one year an almost 40% deferred interest charge (from the original borrower amount totaling $3,800) was added on to my balance. This was never explained to me properly as I clearly would have paid down the balance to avoid this very excessive interest charge. In fact there is a Florida statute that prohibits this excessive interest: 687.02 “Usurious contracts” defined.—(1) All contracts for the payment of interest upon any loan, advance of money, line of credit, or forbearance to enforce the collection of any debt, or upon any obligation whatever, at a higher rate of interest than the equivalent of 18 percent per annum simple interest are hereby declared usurious.I have never left a negative review for any merchant but I felt compelled to do so in order to protect future customers at this jewler.

I don’t take any joy out of leaving a subpar review. I brought my watch there to have the battery replaced. When I got there it said to call for appointment. I could see a couple people in there so I called as I was standing at the front door. I explained what I needed. They said Nope, sorry. As I was walking to my motorcycle I heard a girl say, “But he’s right there!” Like she wanted to help but someone else was saying “No”. The thing of it is, I buy a lot of watches. You could say, way too many, lol. Ironically, I ended up buying a Tudor Black Bay 58 from another shop, 2 days later, that took the time to help replace my battery!...
