I would not recommend Johnson’s Folly Horse Farm to anyone. The owner and scheduler only communicates via text and takes 2 weeks to complete a conversations. There is no respect for customer service, billing, scheduling and for that, we have stopped our lessons. It’s a shame. It could have been a nice place for my two children to pick up horseback riding. Running a business isn’t just about taking money, it’s about good communication and being thorough.

This facility has been amazing all around. From the ease of scheduling the appointment to finding a convenient weekly time for all. We were up and riding that week. The instructors are also amazing and patient (especially with young children). The value is great when you buy a series. I highly recommend Johnsons Folly.

This place is my oasis. I get there and Im instantly calm. The horses are beautiful, healthy and loved. The instructors are incredibly knowledgable, the staff is precise and very friendly and the horses are just love machines. This is definitely my favorite stable & Im constantly recommending them to everyone I know! 💘

Great initial visit.My family and I had a calm and rider-oriented first visit this week. The staff were very helpful, especially Lauren, our instructor. (She was respectful, patient and knowledgable.)

What a relaxing and beautiful place

I purchased a block of lessons for $500. I was only able to use $200 of them. They refuse to refund the remaining $300. There was no “no refund” policy posted and their explanation for not refunding the money they didn’t earn was “I’ve never had to think of refunding anyone’s money”. They keep money they do not provide services for. It’s very dishonest. Buyer beware.

New to riding, and I was hooked after my first lesson! My trainer is the best! Very patient, and knowledgeable. If I could go more often I would! Don’t think twice about it and go see for yourself because the farm itself is picturesque.

My daughter just started lessons here yesterday. She has not stopped smiling since!The place is like a story book, the staff are so kind and gentle and professional. Let me begin by saying that since the first day I stepped foot on this farm my stress level has gone way down and my inner peace has reached an all time high. There is something magical about this farm and the people who work it. The owner Nongae has made a novice like me feel that owning a horse and caring for it and learning to ride it brings such a feeling of fulfillment and self satisfaction and pride. The love and care she puts into this farm and how she is personally involved in all day to day dealings shows how this is the place for anyone on any riding level. Her knowledge of horses is extensive and I am constantly learning from her and her staff every day. I have had the pleasure of being trained by Stephanie who is the most patient, kind, caring and professional trainer. I have seen how she is with training small children and she is exceptional with them. She really CARES about the horsesand gets such satisfaction out of seeing her students improve. She treats the horses as if they were her own.Lastly, when you drive through the gates of this farm you instantly feel calm and feel like you are a million miles away from everyday life, you can focus on yourself and your horse.Whatever level you are at THIS IS THE PLACE you want to be riding and THIS IS THE PLACE you want your horse.

We love being at the farm and watching our daughter ride. We didnt enjoy the barn we moved from a year ago but our expectations have been exceeded. The staff are fabulous. They take superb care of our horse and our daughter! I would highly recommend this farm to anyone looking for a place to ride, send family members to, or board their horse.

PLEASE BE AWARE!!! This company takes advantage of those who are ill and offer help but beware they are ONLY out for YOUR MONEY!! My daughter was in a rehab and I was offered this Equestrian therapy. I live out of state and I sent the $150 dollars to them prior to her having therapy My daughter was too ill to go to the therapy. I phoned Stephanie to let her know that she would not be able to participate and to not cash check... she cashed the check anyway and is now REFUSING TO REFUND the money! She states you pay just for having an appt. I find that behavior appalling and I am in the process of taking them to court. Please do yourself a favor and save your money, find another establishment that is sincere and have some good business sense.

Ive been boarding my horse at Johnsons Folly for several months and couldnt be happier. Otis is very well cared for and always perfectly groomed. When I bring my 8 year old son to ride, we are always treated very well by the caring staff. Thanks Johnsons!

EVERY VISIT IS A DELIGHT!I have to chime in here to counter the ranting of two negative reviews. My experience at Johnsons Folly is 100% positive. Up front, my perspective is as a parent of an eager teenage daughter. She spends 2-3 hours every Saturday here and I can say with confidence they are her favorite hours of every week. Norma and her staff, many freelancers, are faultlessly competent and delightfully warm and friendly in every encounter I have had and witnessed. Im a people person, erring unfortunately on the too-sensitive side, and the staff here are a highlight of my week every time. They dont deserve a word of these two awful reviewers.If your child, of any age, is serious about learning the fine art of horse riding and control, I cant imagine a more capable, intuitive and in-tune instructor than Amber. She knows each and every one of her numerous students ever-evolving fears and capabilities and manages to coax the very best from each of them in every lesson, nurturing a long term relationship. It is a wonder to behold! I am deeply indebted to Amber for her devotion to and understanding of my daughter.Keep in mind while pondering the insane juxtaposition of the lovers and the haters here that horse culture unfortunately involves a bit of classism. I am from the hard working, just-making-ends-meet end of the spectrum, just for your reference. Nevertheless, I have many friends and relatives in the horse world and find it a passionate and loving pursuit above all. Horses dont know what money is and in my experience serious riders dont care either.I cannot say enough to recommend anyone with whom my thoughts might resonate to patronize this rare gem in unlikely Delray Beach, Florida.PS: The word attorney is like a gun. I ENTERED INTO A LEASE AGREEMENT ON APRIL 14 2012 THROUGH APRIL 13 2013 FROM JOHNSONS FOLLY FARM THE TRAINER STEPHANIE MEZER THE OWNER NONGAY AND SHANNON HAWKE THE LESSEE PAID ME 983.33 FOR A 12 MONTH LEASE THEY BASICALLY TOOK MY HORSE AND BREACHED THE CONTRACT IN JULY 2012 THE TRAINERS COMMISSION WAS PAID IN FULL I THE OWNER OF THE FRENCH WARMBLOOD CANNOT SEE MY HORSE AND I HAVE SPENT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS TRYING TO GET MY HORSE BACK HE IS NOT PROPERLY CARED FOR AND GOOD JUDGEMENT AND TRAINING IS NOT AVAILABLE TO MY HORSE I WANT MY HORSE BACK AND MY LEASE AGREEMENT IS BREACHED MY POOR HORSE I HAVE INCURRED LOSS OF USE NONGAY TOLD ME NOT TO GO TO HER JOHNSONS FOLLY FARM BECAUSE SHANNON HAWKE IS THE LESSEE OWES ME MONEY THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT IS THAT MY BABY IS NOT PROPERLY MAINTAINED DO NOT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU JOHNSONS FOLLY FARM IS A SCAM I WORK AS A TRAINER AND IAM NOT THE FIRST PERSON THIS HAS HAPPENED TO AND WITH THAT ILL TRUELY SAY THAT ILL BE THE LAST THERE IS NO SUPERVISION THERE THEIR ACTIONS ARE UNACCEPTABLE RESPONSIBILITY NILL AND VOID THEY ARE OUT OF CONTROL THEY JOHNSONS FOLLY FARM IS NOT USING MY HORSE FOR THE PURPOSE OF THE CONTRACT BREACHED IN 2 MONTHS DONT LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU NOW I HAVE LEGAL EXPENSES TO GET MY HORSE BACK HIS QUALITY AND HEALTH ARE IN DANGER AND MOST OF ALL HE IS NOT BEING USED FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF THE CONTRACT NO ONE SHOULD BE RIDING HIM EXCEPT FOR THE LESSEE SHANNON HAWKE AND THE TRAINER STEPHANIE MAZER. Above and beyond the legal fees they owe me over 15,000 dollars and 150,000 dollar horseback whose maintenance, discipline, and well being is now jepordized. Like I said I wasnt the first that this happened too. I met several people that knew Johnsons folley farm and the way they conduct their business. you do not want to train, board, or even associate with them.PLEASE BE AWARE IAM TAKING THEM TO COURT THEY ABDUCTED MY HORSE STOLE MY MONEY AND I LOST MY BEST FRIEND. Its not about the animal, its about the money. If you wanna do your kid a favor keep away.

Not recommend at allThe lesson started late since the trainer was late for the previous lesson, she started our lesson late and stoped it at the and of the hour.The whole lesson she was focusing on another lesson that was going on in the ring and completely ignored my doughter, every two laps of trot she let her walk.It was supposed to be a 30 min lesson and she actually did maybe 15 min riding.Now I’m a professional rider and trainer and I know how it is supposed to be, this is just a disgrace to even call her a trainer.She was there to get her money and go home.So unprofessional training I haven’t seen in years.Though I must say the horses looked healthy and in very good condition
