Do not rent anything besides a uhaul from this place!! Everything they have is outdated trash!! 2/3 of the emploees are a-holes, lied to me and told me they had a pink bouncy house i got stuck with a red one with a big hole on the side only thing they could do was give me duck tape thanks for wasting my time and ruining my daughters bday

Rented Trash Pumps, the hose they rented us should have been labeled trash. We went with another company locally to get hose as they were closed the remainder of the weekend and we had no choice. We were still billed the full amount of the junk they are renting. Will never rent from them again and I highly suggest reading other reviews of this company before you choose on to rent from. Better options and better equipment can be found locally.

I rented a tent, table, chairs, linens and other party equipment. Everything was very good. More important to me, the staff at pick up and delivery were all so professional and quick! Im very pleased!

Rented a rodding machine from these guys, got home and found out one of the components was missing a toggle switch. I called in to let them know right away and the response that I got from one of the workers was simply arguing with me telling me I was wrong. Poor Customer service. I don’t believe professionalism is in any of the employees vocabulary, the manager Josh was also ignorant to everything I was telling him happened and proceeded to charge me anyway. If you read all of the negative reviews and the responses from the owner it should be clear there’s one and only one thing that this place wants to accomplish, taking the money and running. It’s obvious from their responses that return customers are not a thing for them. We live in a small town and CSR bobcat was the first place that was recommended to me, tool time was the last resort and it’s pretty clear why now.

I rented tablecloths for my recent wedding from Tool Time. The sales people were pleasant, even when I called to make changes to the number of tablecloths I ultimately needed. However, on the day of the wedding, my fiance went to pick up the tablecloths and they had not been delivered yet. When I rented the tablecloths, NO mention was made as to delivery time. I told Josh we would be there as soon as they opened to pick up the tablecloths. (8:00) I had a crew of people ready to decorate the venue and obviously, the tablecloths would be the first thing needed before the tables could be decorated. It was nearly 11:00 am before we had the tablecloths in hand. We were able to complete the decorating and the venue was beautiful. After the tablecloths were returned, my husband and I went in to express our disappointment with the delay on the delivery and the lack of information we were given. We were then told that their vendor only delivers one day a week, and there were no guarantees on the time of delivery. Had we known that information, we perhaps could have scheduled delivery a week in advance, or would have made other arrangements all together. In conversation, Rich said they had the same problem with another recent wedding. That sounds to me like better information should be given to the renter from the very beginning. Rich did apologize, but nothing was done to offset the lost time and added stress the morning of the wedding. My advice to any future renters who are renting linens from Tool Time, be sure you have ALL the information before you rent, so you will not experience what I did. Nobody has time for that....

These guys are amateurs. Do not rent from these crooks. They do not know about the machines they rent. They tried to tell me the chipper I rented wouldnt chip brush because it was too green. The blades were completely rounded over it wouldnt cut butter!

Worst Customer Service ever...........The owner is rude and so is the manager Harry. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been ordering from them for years under the previous manager Jason who was nice, respectful and was great at customer service, he is no longer with them and the new manager Harry does not know the meaning of the word customer service nor does the rude mean disrespectful owner. I did a replica order for from a order I placed in 2015 for this year 2016. The order was not correct and the manager nor the owner would not honor previous arrangements. They had to come back out to correct the order so that we received everything that we had the previous year, then they had the audacity to charge me another delivery/installation fee. The best part of it all, when I placed the order they told me that my order would be towards the end of the day, they came out early so I had to rush and get someone out there to accommodate the delivery then the owner very rudely gives me a lesson on having his workers wait. Absolute rude and terrible service....THE WORST!!!!!!!!!!! I definitely will not be back nor will i rent anything from this business again. I will also be filing a complaint with the BBB regarding their sorry excuse for customer service. Simply the worst customer service that Ive experienced from this place and the craziest part is it was by the owner and manager, then they totally trashed and disrespected their previous manager Jason who I had worked with in the past.

Great experience! I have rented a pressure washer and had no issues. I also recently rented a trailer an transaction went very smoothly on both rentals. I plan to continue to rent with them as they have very reasonable rates.

Recently rented a large U-Haul truck from Tool Time. It was a very smooth transaction and everything went perfectly... without a hitch, you might say.

NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE. We rented a cotton candy machine for our daughters birthday. When my husband picked it up, he was given no instructions on how to use it. He asked where to put the sugar and the employee was clueless and just said to spread it around the base. Well. We figured out that was incorrect but the machine didnt include a hood and in turn...we were only able to make 5 cones!!! 15 kids and only 5 cones because cotton candy was flYing EVERYWHERE. there was no way to keep it contained. The machine was not working correctly even after adjusting the settings.I told the employee when I dropped it off and what did he do? Nothing. Took my card and charged me $60 for something we couldnt even use.Absolutely wont use this company again!!

I rented a piece of equipment at 2:30 in the afternoon. At no point did they explain to me that I really only had 2.5 hours to use the piece of equipment, because they close at 5 pm SHARP! I got back there at 5:02, and the place was a ghost town. I guess that explains why nobody answered the phones there at 4:55 when I tried calling. So, long story short, I used a machine for 2.5 hours, and was charged for the ENTIRE DAY. Not only the 4 hours that I thought I was paying per the agreement. And the only reason I failed to get back there by 5pm is because when I picked up the machine, it took them at least 30 minutes to repair the machine into a functioning condition so I could use it. So when I went in to question the charges, I was told that they could no longer find the original rental agreement, and that since there was nobody to check the equipment in until the next morning, that I was charged a whole day. She said “well you could’ve kept it until 2:30 the next day.” And told me there was nothing they could do about it. Like it was a joke. I have a job that requires me to be there before Tool Time even opens in the morning. Bad form by the employees, bad customer service, and poor equipment maintenance.

I have never been so mistreated by a business more then at this place. We rented a tarp from them to protect items from the rain. The taro was so full of holes that it would have been better to not even use it. I explained the problem to the manager Josh and was meet with rude and threatening comments. When I returned to tarp I was then met with more threats and rude vulgar language. I have filled a claim with my homeowners insurance to cover the damages to my property after tool time told me to go f myself. The owner refused to even offer some compensation for the garbage they rent. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN FOR ANYTHING. I WOULDNT EVEN RENT A CHAIR FROM THEM. RENT FROM THEM AT YOUR OWN EXPENSE.

Ive had several experiences at Tool Time, and theyve all been EXCELLENT! Great staff, friendly and knowledgeable, and the vehicles Ive rented have all been clean, well-maintained, and in excellent condition. I would recommend this business to anyone.

Liars and CrooksReserved a buffer for a Sunday pick up. We are a biz. This was the only day we could use the item in the daytime. Came to pick it up only to find that they had closed the store early without even calling us.We had to pick up the next day. When we were able to do the the job they had already closed again and we were stuck with a fifty year old buffer peace of crap that couldnt be used to strip or buff anything. On top of this we had to work until 5am in the morning because these jerks had closed Sunday without tell us.Called the manager JASON who said they would not charge us for the rental. He lied and charged our card the next day.These people are Liars and Crooks.We did a chargeback on the card to get our money back. If you deal with them, you better get ready to do the same. These people dont give a darn about anyone but themselves.

I have rented several pieces of equipment and trucks from Tool Time. They have great customer service with fair prices. Theyve always been honest and helpful. I will coming back.

We rented a couple of chairs and a table from them. We double checked and even repeated what the guy said. On a Saturday, we said we would be bringing everything back the next day and Josh said and I quote Just bring it back anytime 9-5. We repeated what he said as google has different times posted. We said 9-5? And he said yup. Anytime 9-5. So we get there around 245 and the guy working refuses to take it back. The guy working today said he was just doing u-haul, and REFUSED to even take everything that we were trying to take back. He said to come back tomorrow. This is ridiculous. We took an employees word, and now were stuck with chairs and a table we dont need. Never again doing business with them.

Rented a Uhaul here and returned it clean but they still charged me a $25 cleaning fee. Uhaul as a company is a frustrating experience but most of their equipment vendors are good people. This place they are not. Whoever I spoke with on the phone was rude and unconcerned that they were ripping me off. Lots of other places to rent from so skip this place over.

Paid twice in two weeks to have my riding tractor fixed and on the 3rd call a couple of days later I got Dude, Im sick of working on your mower. It kept throwing the belt.I went in the next morning to talk to the owner and he said I dont know what was said between the two of you. I said that I just wanted the tractor fixed and the owner responded he did fix it. All that I could do was walk out. I called Sears in and the tech immediately found the frame was broken so Tool Time didnt even figure it out. Dont risk your money.

I have used them for years. I have never had an issue, always very good to me and my wife.

I have been renting from Tool Time since 1997. I have rented trucks, trailers, trenchers, rodders, cement mixers, hydraulic augers, scaffolding, ladders, and various power tools. I have nothing but praise for their entire crew and the owner. The few times where equipment didnt work or a motor overheated or I had a problem, a replacement was given, time was credited and I was back on the job. The guys have stayed late for me, provided quotes over the phone to help with bids, held equipment for me that I later had to cancel on, without any inordinate complaint or charges made because my job was cancelled or cut short. In short, these guys are the best! When I needed some extra training or instructions on how to use their equipment, they spent the necessary time to insure I or my son or my workers knew what they were doing before going to the job. They make sure my load is safe before I leave, double checking the safety chains and lights and gear. Theyve helped me make money and save money on jobs, as well as equipped me for work on my own home and extended family. They are nothing if not professional, courteous, friendly, trustworthy and fair. I recommend them unequivocally and enthusiastically to both the DIY homeowner and contractors alike. We are fortunate to have this great outfit in DeKalb County!

I have been going to tool time for over 15 years and frankly now I live 20 miles away but I still go there when I need a trailer or bigger piece of equipment.. That should say something. So I reserved a uhaul last week. They told me I would be able to pick it up in DeKalb and drop it off in the city. Now its the day before I move and the call me and say the dont have a pick up in dekalb and that I would have to drive a hour away just to pick up the uhaul!!!! I will never get a uhaul from them again. Very unprofessional!!

They start your rent time before they load your vehicle and they stop it when you come in after you unloaded the vehicle they charged me for a whole day Instead of 4 hours I made sure that I was only gone for 4 hours I Cant believe theyre going to stay in business when they treat Customers like that!!
