Someone tried to steal the catalytic convertor on my daughters car. I dont live close by but, at BWCH, they kept me informed with detailed picture texts letting me know exactly what is happening. Her car was fixed in a day, they checked to make sure everything was done to satisfaction. Awesome service.

The ac on our 2012 Dodge had been repaired once at the dealer but was not functioning, Bill Whites repaired at a very reasonable cost and it is working very well now. Just went to Bill Whites C.A.R. Hospital for an oil change and it was AMAZING! BY FAR the best price I’ve ever found, and they were extremely kind and trustworthy! I’ve been looking for a reliable mechanic for years and I finally found it! I won’t be going anywhere else for anything my car needs!My tire went flat AS I was driving to get the oil changed and when they told me, I let them know that I’d put on the spare myself and get it replaced with my Farm & Fleet road hazard tire warranty. They said they would put the spare on for me at no charge. That was above and beyond and so kind!I am so impressed!! It’s a relief to have someone so honest work for you!

Bill White’s Car Hospital did all the regular maintenance on my previous car. It was a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe sport. When I switched jobs and started putting 120 miles on it daily I started having more repair issues… I even called them from the road one day and they talked me through what could possibly be going on with my car in the moment. They ultimately recommended that I stop throwing good money after bad and begin to contemplate a new car. While my new car is under warranty I will be bringing it to them for all my oil changes and tire rotation and once the warrantee wears off, which will be quickly in light of the number of miles I put on each day, I will continue to utilize Bill White’s Car Hospital.

Highly recommend! I would give them 10 stars is the review allowed it as 5 isn’t enough!!!! They inspected a used truck and provided a very detailed report with pictures. The team is professional and provides guidance as to what needed repair and the urgency of the different things wrong with the vehicle. You can’t go wrong with their service!

They fixed the issue I described but failed to mention or investigate another readily apparent issue. If they had mentioned it I would have asked them to look into it prior to picking the vehicle up. I dont feel the customer should be expected to ensure they perform their due diligence as a repair shop. I am not satisfied with the price that was charged for the services I received. I will not be going back. This is the 3rd separate repair they have performed and the pricing seems to vary quite a bit depending on who you initially speak to as far as the service writer role. If you choose to go here make sure you speak to Bill directly.

From my first time at the Car Hospital they have always treated me great. Always giving me great advice as well as information on problems with my truck. Bill and all the people there are extremely nice to deal with. My last trip in there I wanted an oil change on my new truck and so happens they where very busy. But Joy worked her magic and got me in very quick. I highly recommend if you need a quality service station this is definitely one of the best I have ever used.

Had a slow coolant leak for years and it finally let go, needed a new radiator. The Car Hospital had an inspection and diagnosis finished in about two hours, sent me a link to the vehicle inspection with photos, called me and explained options and pricing, and had my car back to me in 24 hours all for a very reasonable price. (Also fixed a shock mount that I didn’t know had cracked) Can’t say enough good things about this place and have been recommending it to all of my friends and family all week!

I LOVE Bill Whites C.A.R. Hospital! My dad referred me to them and now its definitely my go-to. I called the other day because I needed a last minute appointment and they were able to get me in right away at my preferred time. I planned on waiting while I had my oil change done and they quoted me 30-45 minutes and they stuck to it! They are so friendly on the phone and in person and the pricing is SO reasonable. Their lounge where you wait is also super comfy and welcoming, love the rocking chair! I have maintenance of my car done at Car Hospital several times. The staff are nice and professional and explain the car problems in a way that I can understand. They would give me a ride to my office after I drop off my car and pick me up after my car is ready. That was very convenient for me . And the repair and maintenance costs are more affordable compared to Toyota dealer I used. I would definitely come back for my car service in the future.

This is the second time I have used the CAR Hospital in the last several months and received excellent service both times. They are extremely friendly over the phone and in person...they make you feel like they actually care about you and your car! They got me in for appointments right away, offered to drive me to my daughters house in DeKalb to wait, and kept me posted on their findings in my car before proceeding with any work. My son-in-law recommended them to me because he has been so satisfied with their service, so I drive 50 miles round trip to bring my car here but it is worth it to find an auto shop that I can trust.

Over the years Bill Whites car hospital has always taken good care of us. They provide honest and fair service. Weve checked prices and they are always comparable to other repair places. They also only do the work required to get our vehicle working properly, the do not try to force unneeded (or even needed) repairs on us. They also provide a shuttle van to get me home or to work while my car is in the shop. We have been very happy with our experience with them. On top of all of that, they are just pleasant to work with.

Initially I had a lot of faith in the car Hospital, but after my experience today I digress. $500 for a right wheel bearing repair! I dont think so! My cousin is a mechanic and he said that no honest shop would charge over $350. You might have a pleasant experience as long as you dont tell them youre moving out of state, otherwise they might try and get what they can from you! Id rather travel the distance and see my cousin, especially if it means saving half a grand!

Im very ignorant to mechanical things, they not only told me I didnt need an oil change yet after the sticker from the previous shop (Valvoline in Sycamore) I went to low balled my miles by a few thousand, but also pointed out an up charge Valvoline stuck me with that seemed very odd. A few weeks later, my battery died in a parking lot. They said a tow truck would cost $65, I agreed to pay it. The truck came, they assessed that the battery was at the end of its life based on mileage and age of the vehicle, jumped the battery so I could drive it to the shop, and Im pretty sure they didnt even charge me for them coming to my rescue after they replaced the battery for me. They take great care of you, are very nice, will be very honest about everything you need serviced, and are very accommodating. Ill recommend CAR Hospital to anyone.

I am always greeted by smiling faces and welcoming greetings. They explain the work thats been done on the car and provide additional information about work that may need to be done (worn tires, brakes that are wearing, etc) in the future. Great service.

They keep track of warranties and have given me rides to and from work many times after I dropped my car off early in the morning. Sometimes discount coupons are available. This is the greatest place to take your car. I took my car to another place and they told me I needed $600.00 dollars worth of repairs. I took their sheet to Bill Whites Car Hospital and I only needed $60.00 worth of repairs. They fix what needs to be fixed and they make you feel like family.Great Place!!!!!!! The only down fall is they are not open on the weekends but I can over look that because they do such a great job.

I just had my second repair completed by Bill Whites in less than a year (separate issues). They are polite, fairly priced and very easy to work with. They over communicate and do not attempt to swindle you out of money. In my recent trip, in addition to needing my Power Steering Pump replaced, I had two codes flagged under my Check Engine light. They cleared one with no additional charge and were honest about the other being important but not critical to the operation of the vehicle in the next few weeks. I know that I can go back when I am ready and they will handle the remaining issue for me. Hands down the best folks to deal with and trust with your vehicles.
