Scheduled a appointment they gave me a three hour window between 3-5 at 530pm I called they said running a little late but asked for me to pay in advance before they even showed up. I said no I will be more then happy to pay when he shows. they then called at 8pm and said they are not coming even though they say 24 hour service

The gentleman that showed up was 3 hours late. I kept calling and was given a time that he would arrive by, then he was not there, so I have to call again and was given another time...three times I had to call. The gentleman showed up at nearly 10:00 PM. He did look at the bathtub and he just looked at the toilet without even trying to flush it or speaking with me. Then he tells me it will be $505 dollars just to pull the toilet, but refused to snake the line. I tried to speak with him and he shrugged his shoulders and said Im here now and this is what I am telling you must be done. Rude and uninformative.I called another company and they came out on time. Quickly assessed the situation which now included two bathrooms. Was very thorough, friendly and informative. He resolved the issue quickly after putting a camera in the pipes and was done in less than an hour for $450. He said there was no need to pull the toilet and that the issue could not be resolved without snaking the line.

Henry arrived in the afternoon to help find and fix a leak that was causing water to run out from under my kitchen wall. He checked a few things and said he would return the following morning with a colleague to get the job done. He and Mike worked to minimize damage to my wall and were able to replace the damaged pipe with PVC. They also proactively helped me find a water damage restoration company who arrived just as Mr. Rooter was finishing up. Mike and Henry were good natured, funny, helpful, and always willing to explain what they were doing, what they found, and what the next steps would be. I would certainly call them again if I have another plumbing issue!

I was faced with a failing cast iron sewer main that was going to require trenching inside and outside of my home and Rich proposed new technology which cleaned, and coated the existing pipe in multilayers of epoxy. This process was a minor inconvenience and half the cost of the treating and replacing of the existing pipe. I strongly encourage other homeowners facing failing cast iron pipes to consider this option and call Rich.

Mr. Rooter installed my dishwasher. We purchased it from Lowes and paid Lowes for installation. When the installer came, he wouldnt do the installation, because there is a small cabinet in between the dishwasher and the sink. He just up and left. Now I had to scramble. I heard about Mr. Rooter and called. I spoke with Sheryl and she could hear how distraught and upset I was. She got an installer to come out to my house that afternoon. He had no problem with the installation. He was very careful, clean and considerate of my home. Everything was very professional and my dishwasher runs perfectly. Thank you Mr. Rooter for saving my hands from continuing to have to wash dishes!!!

Amazing experience from start to finish. Everyone I spoke to was pleasant, knowledgeable and worked quickly to service us. Price was more than fair, Rich, the field supervisor arrived minutes after calling for service and was quick, worked hard and was extremely knowledgeable and communicative the entire time. Finding great contractors is hard these days but these guys were better than great.

Mr. Rooter did an excellent job installing a water leak detection system with automatic shutoff. They sent me one of their more experienced techs Rich and he did fantastic work. System is working like a charm and his work has netted me a 15 % discount on my homeowners policy. I would highly recommend their work and will use them again if the need should arise.

Charged $276 just to remove old and install new faucet. Maybe 30 minutes of work. Had another plumber charge me $350 to remove a toilet that was cemented into the floor, install the new one and repair tile/floor. MUCH more work, only $80 difference. Mr. Rooter will do in a pinch, but wouldnt be my first choice. Probably wouldnt recommend as a first choice either.

We called Rooter Rooter to clear a clogged sewer line. They came did the work. 72 hours later the line was clogged again. They came back refuse to even run the camera to check what the issue was except we pay again for the service that we paid for 72 hours prior . Called Mr. Rooter they came found the line was still clogged, not cleared properly. They cleared the line. Since then...No issues.

Called and in less than an hour they were there on a Sunday!!! He fixed the problem in less than 30 minutes. Extremely professional and kept me posted on the progress at all times!! Highly recommend!!

Had appointment to replace water heater, tech never show up, when I call the office two hours after my appointment, was told that the Technician got held back on the last work and they can reschedule for another day, so the office manager Eric assure me that tomorrow that he will oversee my appointment personally to make sure I am taken care of.Again after two hours of the appointment time spoke to Eric again and he said he didn’t know what happened and that the technician had a emergency and he had to leave so he pull another technician to cover the appointment and assure me that the technician is in route to my house, after an hour and a half spoke to Eric, technician never arrive.Again Eric made another appointment,I went along anyway just to see how it will play out I hope that this review get to the right person so they can know what’s going on with the company, my appointment is 3-5 on 9/13/19

Technician showed up to unclog sink. It was his first day on the job, unsupervised. He over tightened the drain pipes to the point it broke and started to leak. He unclogged the drain and said someone would be out the next day to replace the pipes. Not sure why a plumber wouldnt be able to replace standard T-trap assuming he had materials in his truck... The next day, the other tech shows up and asks the standard fee to replace tubing of $320 !!!! Something they broke!!Im not going to recommend this company to anyone for any reason whatsoever.

I used them for 2 of my customers for a camera inspection for underground pipes. I had the same tech both times, Conner Boyle, he did a great job and is fantastic with the customers, highly recommend. Each inspection was approached in a different way, due to access, you would not know he had been there.

I would 110% recommend Mr. Rooter of Broward Co.!!! We were unable to flush our toilet because we had a main line break and Mr. Rooter had their guys out in less than 2 hours on a Saturday!!! Very happy with the service I got last week. The plumber was prompt and professional. He knew what he was doing and did it quickly. The price was as expected.

My wife called to have our AC condensate line cleared. Should have asked about price up front (live and learn). The tech did arrive as promised and he was there nearly 2 hours. Fortunately I got home from work early as he presented my wife with a bill for almost $450!!! It seems he took it on himself to re-glue 4 fittings of PVC and replace a 2 foot section of PVC that would have taken me all of 20 minutes tops (including a run to the store for parts!). He wanted $231 for that in addition to over $200 to clear the line (he said that was their basic rate)! After about 20 minutes of discussion he called someone and the bill was reduced to about $325 - still outrageous for the work done. By the way they also charged $65 to the credit card just to take the appointment but credited it back when we had the work done. Guess thats so that when people cancel after the tech tells them the ridiculous price up front they can make some free money. Wont be calling this provider again!P.S. For comparison a co-worker who lives nearby told me he had his cleared for $75 when I told him the story.

My family had a plumbing issue with all bathrooms backing up and decided to give Mr. Rooter a shot on 12/09/2019. The technician arrived and located our main drain outside where he began to snake the system and was able to get the water moving. The technician stayed for awhile to watch the water and we were appreciative. Unfortunately within a short period the water backed up again so given their “guarantee” on the work we called and scheduled a follow up. Several visits later and the blockage was still very much a problem but now the company says we are outside of the 30 day window and will have to pay $75 for another visit......to fix the same issue stemming from the 3 visits prior. Instead of continuing to dispute the work with Mr. Rooter we decided to have Lindstrom come and evaluate the problem. Their tech went far beyond the service of Mr. Rooter by using multiple heads on the snake uncovering the true issue-roots in our pipes. 2 hours later, 3 different heads on the snake and all roots were cleared and the camera was then dropped into our pipes revealing the issue was actually on the city side . Lindstrom educated us on how to contact the city and explain the issue so that the city may take the necessary steps to ensure no future issues. What Lindstrom found completely contradicts what was stated on the Mr. Plumber invoice in reference to “tech didn’t pull anything back” pertaining to roots. Our family is far more comfortable with the quality Lindstrom provides and highly suggest you contact them to save time.

Stay away from this company. This company broke my main water pipe and then walked away.My neighbor called Mr. Rooter for service after his main water pipe was damaged by the roots of a tree on his property. The city read the meter on 8/15/2017 and shut down his water on 8/16/2017, leaving him a note saying that his pipe had leaked about 4,000 gallons of water.The plumber arrived on 8/17/2017 and shoveled to access the area of the damage. In the process, he broke my main water pipe which runs parallel to my neighbors water pipe. The plumber fixed my neighbors water pipe but departed without fixing mine.I called Mr. Rooter the next day. They told me they abandoned my damaged pipe, because nobody was paying for them to fix it. They argued that my water pipe was leaking before they touched it; however, the city checked my usage record and detected no prior irregularities. In other words, my water pipe was not leaking before they broke it.Attached is a photo which clearly shows a broken pipe, not a pipe with a minor leak.

Mr Rooter is the best in the area. Nick the plumber was knowledgeable and profesional.. Nick walked me through the repair every step of way..They are a Veteran friendly company. Their pricing was fair and upfront. No hidden or padded charges. Glad I went with them for my plumbing needs.

I had a problem with my main water control and couldn’t get the water back on in my house, Connor showed up and was very friendly, helpful and informative. He replaced the old one and even took the time out to show me why it stopped working. He cleaned up after himself and left. I was very pleased and will use mr. rooter again.

Best Plumbing Company PERIODI called on a Sunday afternoon was going to schedule a plumber for Monday but to my surprise an actual person answered and sent out a plumber within an hour. No extra charge for emergency work! Clinton showed up and was very professional. Fixed the problem right! The charge was less than expected!

We had this company out for our sewer drain and they air hosed the line and a few days later they were out again for more money for both over $500 $ and still having problems. Outstanding customer service. I called on Sunday at 3:00 PM expecting to have to leave a voice mail message. To my surprise a live person answered and said a service person would be there within the hour. SCAM ALERT!! I CALLED THIS COMPANY BECAUSE I HAD WATER DAMAGE THAT I DIDNT KNOW WHERE IT WAS COMING FROM. THEY SENT MICHAEL OUT AND HE TOOK MY SHOWER APART AND LOOKED IN MY WALL AND COULD NOT FIND A LEAKING PIPE. TOILET DRAIN WAS NOT LEAKING EITHER. Roter Rip-off is more like it. I live in a condo and when the service man arrives he said it would be 350 to snake my sink and if that doesn’t work he has to go on the roof and jet it and that would be 975 dollars. I asked him how long does it take . He said two hours . Wow 500 per hour I’m in the wrong business. I called a plumber and it costs 150 dollars.

They came right away. We called 2 other companies at 5pm, still no help by 10pm. We called Mr. Rooter at that point and someone was at our house by 10:30. Mr. Rooter saved us!

Stay away from this company! First of all, they have a $65 dispatch fee which is not clearly explained. They give the impression that its refundable if no work is performed. They are very unprofessional and discourteous. I called this company to check out a copper pipe leak in the attic, which I thoroughly investigated and confirmed that the leak was very small and only about 2-4 inches of pipe needed to be replaced. When the plumber came onsite he informed me that there was a $140 fee to diagnose the issue. Are you kidding me? is this a computer or some sort of electronics that need a diagnostic fee? I decided to call the company and asked them if I already know what the problem is and where the leak is if I still need to pay a diagnostic fee and the lady put me on hold and then came back and said no fee will be required. The plumber said its too hot to get in the attic now so hell come back the next day. Which I agreed it was too hot to be crawling around. The next day the plumber came back and asked me if I will be accompanying him in the attic to help him, because its a two man job. WOW! who is paying who here? I said no, I cant do that. He then climbed up and a few minutes later stated that he was two tall to fit in the attic and it would be better if he could cut a hole in my ceiling. Also it would now cost me $450 because he has to use a special clamp tool instead of the torch, because its dangerous. Wow! again. The tool is an expensive tool, but it makes the job easier so why charge me more? Dont charge me because the tool is expensive. At this point I already lost confidence in him. The plumber said he could not do the job and left. He didnt even call headquarters for a possible solution. After all this.. I called customer service and asked about a solution or refund and they told me that the plumber said he quoted me for 14 feet of copper pipe. huh? we agree that we only needed to replace 2-4 inches. I told the supervisor that its up to him to do the right thing based on the unprofessionalism. I will not ask again for a refund, but they lost my business to another company who gladly took care of the issue the same morning for half the price. oh, and they used the clamp tool. Stay away from this company, there are too many plumbing companies out there that do not need a $65 dispatch fee and $140 diagnostic fee. They are a complete rip off. Shame on you MR. Rooter! you failed!.

Arrived on time. Took three hours and said that it should have taken 5 minutes but the space was tight. Asked for the breakdown of part and labor but he would not tell me.Had to request a receipt several times before getting it a few days later.
