United always takes care of my company A/C, so I gave them a call. Glen came to my home to see what I needed done. I bounced some ideas off him for things I was thinking about doing in the future. He was very patient and explained the pros and cons for each of my plans, where I also found out they do insulation as well. Kurtis and Deshawn replaced the attic insulation, air handler and A/C unit all in one day. They answered all my questions and provided exceptional customer service. They cleaned up behind themselves. We needed a major repair on our old AC unit and we were fortunate to get Curtis to do the job. This was a major job to replace the compressor. He was professional, polite and transparent in the work that needed to done on this big unit. At the completion of his work he cleaned the entire area that surrounded the AC unit. My AC went out on a Sunday and Monday morning by 9am they were at my house. Pete checked everything thoroughly and added dye to the system to find my leak. On Wednesday Robby came out and located the leak outside by the following Monday I was up and running again thanks to kurtis. United AC is now in my speed dial and I cannot thank them enough. I had an AC unit (in and out) installed in 2014 by United. Because I didnt keep up with new filters, the coil was under strain and finally quit. The United team responded quickly to diagnose and replace my coil.Rooney was a pleasure to have in my home to diagnose and temporarily recharge my system. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and friendly.Mike came out three days later, installed the new coil and explained the maintenance to avoid future issues. He was done is less than two hours. Like Rooney, he was also very knowledgeable, courteous and friendly.I highly recommend these professionals, in every sense of the word.

Robbie arrived very quickly after our call. Our thermostat wasn’t working. He quickly found the issue and fixed it. He then checked the air handler and found the line blocked. He replaced the capacitor He was thorough and professional. We appreciated his attention to everything and his suggestions.

My AC decided to quit on me after a lightning storm the prior day. I called United AC after hours and the wonderful office manager sent a technician named Andrew out to me. He was literally there in 15 minutes and had my AC fixed within 30 minutes. He was AMAZING and I am back to living in a nice, cool place. I would definitely recommend to anyone. Thank you Andrew!!

Had a unit Installed by A/C two years ago. It has never worked properly. Ive had problems with the unit ever since it was installed. Some issues were beyond their control. However, Im almost certain the unit was never installed properly. I had a new technician without any oversight and Ive paid the price ever since. Fast forward and the motor dies after two years and I then get charged $600 to fix the motor. The air conditioner has cost me at least another $1000 in post service calls (time/money). The technicians do tend to be kind and professional but that doesnt do me any good when Im being nickeled and dimed.

Admin is old school - but is probably typical of old school AC industry - and theyre probably proud of it and somehow think its necessary (but step it up, OK?). Technical questions remain unanswered (part of the old school part). Trucks look good! The system works well - so Im sure someone thinks I should just be happy.

Good quote but literally showed up the last minute of a two hour appointment window. Service rep was kind and courteous.

They came early and the technician was friendly. Those were the pros.They charged 79.95 for coming. In their assessment, the problem was the run capacitor and connector. They quoted this repair at $595.00 The tech did warn me about other companies wanting to change the compressor or even replace the unit for being over 8 years old.We hired another company that came that same day, and treated as an emergency. Total cost of repair was $165.00 This second company also drained the pipes, and recommended to put stone around unit to avoid sand to be sucked into outside unit when dry. Also showed how to remove the sand that accumulates.In conclusion, saved $430 by not using United A/C services. In fact feel like I wasted a good $80.00, but I guess that is how one learns.Next time I make sure I read the bad reviews, cause they were really bad.There is plenty companies out there

My AC went out on a Sunday afternoon, called and Robbie was at my house in 30 minutes. Diagnosed the problem right away, fixed everything and even did extra cleaning outside. Excellent service and will call again for any future issues.

We used United a few years ago to clean coils on our AC. We were so impressed with their employee, Tyrone, that we remembered them when our AC died last week. Called them on a Sunday, the day before Memorial Day and got a quick call back. They arrived next morning right on time. Once again, Tyrone was exceptional. He’s friendly, professional, neat, nice, and explains everything with patience. We had to replace our 21 year old unit, they delivered and installed new one the next day, on time again. I highly recommend this company.

In my two-story townhome, I had been dealing with a cooling problem upstairs. The temperature upstairs was so unbearably hot that we struggled to sleep well at night and avoided going upstairs in the late afternoon until late evening. The technician, Curtis, took his time to assess and discover the problem and was able to fix it on the spot, which was no small matter. I cannot believe how cool it is upstairs now and how long we had been dealing with this issue. I am so grateful to Curtis for his diligence and hard work.

United A/C & Refrigeration installed our central air conditioning system over a year ago, and we are totally happy with the cooling of our house. The new system is so much better than the one it replaced. Tony was fantastic as an installer. However, when we recently needed to have a circuit breaker replaced, Pete the service manager had us up and running shortly after we called for service. For installation ask for Tony, and for service ask for Pete!!! These two guys are the best and a pleasure to work with.

We called Saturday morning a/c not working. Technician came at 11;30 am to diagnose problem. The tech did an temporary fix. They had to come back out on Tuesday do clean out unit and the a/c coils. Big job.. The service Tech TYRONE was friendly, professional . He stopped to show me a problem he found and took the time to explain it to me. He did not waste time and worked very efficiently. The best Air conditioning company ! We had a new unit installed in June, they sent four gentleman to do he install . They were great. Today we have Mike W.came out to clean lines, this a very common after a new unit has been put in, due to the fact the old unit was 25+ maybe even 30yrs old.The gentleman Mike W. pointed out to me to monthly drip a little bleach or vinegar in The T part of the drain, something I would not have known, he explained everything to me !!!! I cant say enough about Mike W., very much a gentleman, cares about his customers, and was very sweet to my mother which will be 90 this Sept. As always United Air Conditioning is SIMPLY THE BEST,better than all the rest !!!! No need to ever call anyone else! They get the job done.

I have an old AC unit that has been giving me issues for awhile now. It would quit cooling for no apparent reason, then start up again after awhile. I called United AC at 9:30am today (Saturday) after I realized the unit quit over night again, made an appointment for a tech to come and check it out and was told they would be here around 1:00pm. Robbie was here by 10:30am, found that the coil was almost 100% clogged, suggested a fix but recommended a replacement which is what I figured needed done since the unit is 10+ years. Quoted me for a new unit, was a few hundred less than I thought it would be, and we scheduled the work to be done in a couple of days. Very quick, friendly and professional.Update: Tyrone and Marco came out today to install my new unit. They were right on time, and a few hours later, I have a nice new unit installed and pumping out the cold air. The guys were friendly, courteous, and professional. They left everything as clean as they found it, and even made some small improvements to the existing drainage line.Want to also mention Gina and Maggie in the office as they are taking care of a somewhat strange request I had in paying my bill.Definitely an A+ job by everyone.

Just finished a service call with Robbie, he did a wonderful job. He went the extra mile explaining and teaching me about my system. United AC was able to send someone out to me within 1 hrs. They are great. Never any issues that they cant resolve.

Lets start with the office staff! After calling Nicki and Gina they were so helpful. They booked the appointment on the same day and they sent out Scott that gave the best price out 4 other companies we saved over $1,000.00. Scott was professional and really made us feel like he cared about providing the service we needed. Next came the two installers with just 24 hours notice they were on time and also very professional. Robbie and Bill did a great job and explained everything they were doing. The job started at 9:30 am and they stayed until 5:00 to make sure the install was perfect. Great product, great price, great service..thank you all for making this a worry free experience.

This company does really try to go above and beyond. The are very good at responding to calls after hours. Very accommodating and understanding. I truly Appreciate taking care of me very last minute over the weekend. Pete was very knowledgeable, and friendly. Answered all questions thrown at him, and was very patient. And believe me, I know I can get annoying. He took his time and didnt rush the job. Have worked with the other technicians all have given the same treatment as Pete. Robbie did an amazing job cleaning my coils! He took before and after pics. He also checked to make sure the drain was working properly and sealed up any spots that were leaking cold air. United AC/ refrigeration was highly Recommended to me. I was having problem with my AC. So I called to have them come out. A young man by the name Jake came to out to my house. I have to say he was very sweet and well mannered . He was very knowledgeable and found my problem right away. They are very accommodating and fairly priced. I would recommend them again to anybody who’s having problems or simply just need their AC cleaned or recharged.

From start to finish these guys were professional and knowledgeable about my air conditioning needs. My a/c was near death and I had a new unit installed within 2 days. JP was the technician today- he was on time, professional and knowledgeable.I recommend United A/CDominic was on time and efficient. He looked over my thermostat, corrected the time and took the temperature to make sure the unit was cooling. He checked the unit outside, flushed the drain pipe and added some algae tablets.He made two suggestions I will consider. One, to get the attic insulated to keep down cooling costs and two, to get 5 minute delay installed on my unit.i will consider these options.United A/C stands behind their products and installations. I recommend them.

Weve been customers for more than 15 years and whenever we need service they are here SAME DAY. Weve also bought 2 new A/C units from them over the years - prices are very competitive and installation is professional and technicians leave things neat and clean. Props to Tyrone and Kenny who serviced a small leak this week - they resolved our problem quickly with enthusiasm and a smile, even though they had already had a long day of climbing in other customers hot attics! I have used United A/C’s services several times and never been disappointed. The last service I had was for duct cleaning and installing a jumper to provide return air from the master bedroom. Tony and his crew came out to perform the job. They were punctual and performed the job in a timely manner. Tony listened to all of my concerns and explained every step of the job. He was extremely respecful of my house, cleaned up all the mess and made sure everything was done correctly. After the job was done, he walked me through everything that he did and made sure I was satisfied with the results. He also gave me recommendations on hot to improve the air flow in my house. Overall, Im very happy with the company and trust their professional opinions, when it comes to A/C services.

United A/C got us up and running in no time while saving us money! During the initial visit the service manager determined that the compressor needed to be replaced and that he would be able to get it covered under warranty which saved us a bunch. He also noticed that a Safe-T switch had never been installed in the handler which could have been a headache down the road with water running down to the first floor. The pricing for labor, switch and 3yr maintenance plan was very fair. Once the new compressor arrived Robbie came out to install it along with the Safe-T switch. He was punctual, polite and wasted no time getting to work. The issue with the compressor was apparent as Robbie released the pressure and oil shot up just short of the bottom of the roof! He knocked it out in a few hours which was impressive considering the tight space around the compressor (It is blocked on three sides by the outer wall, fence and a row of bushes). This was a great experience and we will definitely be calling United A/C for any future needs!

We had a fabulous experience with the installers, Jake and Joe, and the sales person Pete, who responded immediately when our AC went out just before a business trip. Besides being professional and knowledgeable, they worked expeditiously to complete all the installation and explained all the AC issues to us (and left everything as clean as they found it). Having been through an earlier installation 12 yrs ago with another company, this was a refreshing experience, what one hopes for from a professional company. We compared prices, and found them very competitive, responsive, and dedicated to doing a first class job. I had called the company for a loud noise and vibration on my outside unit on start-up. A tech came out and took an amp reading on my condenser fan. It read 1.02amps. He immediately condemned the fan and called in for a replacement. The problem was intermittent. Two days later another tech came out and replaced the fan. He checked the amp reading after installing the new fan and it read .98 Amps. I told the second tech that I thought the difference was negligible. He didnt comment. Two days later, the noise was back on start-up. I lowered the temp thinking this may help and it did, but a week and half later it was back again. I called the company back and Gina sent out a new tech that she said was very knowledgeable. She sent Tony and he was awesome. He determined that the coils were dirty, cleaned them, and explained everything. Kudos to Tony. After doing more research, I also learned amps will raise with dirty coils. Im giving this review two stars because I paid $500.00 for a repair that was not needed. If Tony had come out originally, I would have saved several hundred dollars. Be careful of fast talkers who rush you through the repairs.

I called on a Friday evening and was received by a polite and efficient troubleshooter. I advised him of my dilemma with the A/C unit and he guaranteed me a service tech would be their first thing in the morning. Promptly at 8:00 oclock, Jake their service tech, was on the job. Jake was courteous, efficient and provided quality service. He answered any question I had and was eager to satisfy my concerns. He was thorough and actually did more in one service call than in all three visits of the previous company. (Sansone-do not use). I had a contract with Sansone, another A/C repair provider and I fired them before I called UNITED. I will recommend United, a company with competent employees, to all who need quality and efficient service. Technicians like Jake are hard to find.

I had both my AC Condenser and Air Handler replaced with a new unit. Tyrone and Marco were extremely professional and knowledgeable about the new unit and educated me on maintenance that I can do and things that I should look out for in the future to prevent costly repairs. I would highly recommend their service!

I had been using this company for about 2 years with no problem before they started going way down hill. DO NOT waste your time or money. I got a 3 year contract for them to check my A/C every 6 months. At first 2 things impressed me: (1) the lady that answered the phone was very nice and sweet and treated you with respect. (2) Every time I had an appointment, it went really smoothly, meaning they called me saying it had been 6 months, then the morning of the appointment they called me and told me a time window in which they would come, and then they actually came. After the first 3 or 4 times went smoothly, everything changed. First, the time for my 6 month service came and they never called. Luckily I realized it had been awhile and I called them. This is not so bad, but then it gets worse. The lady that used to answer the phone is gone, and the new lady has a serious attitude problem and talks to you with absolutely no respect, as if you are bothering her. OK fine, I went ahead and made the appointment. But then the day came and they never called me to give me a time window of when they would show up. Instead they call me at 12:00 noon when the tech is already at my door, but of course nobody is home because they never called to give me a time window. I told the lady with the attitude this, and she lied and said they did call and give me a window (with her usual attitude). I calmly made another appointment for a Friday. So the day comes and I want to make sure someone is coming, so I call them. And guess what? They dont have me on the schedule for today even though today is the day I told them I am available. They have me on the schedule for next Monday instead. That was the last straw, I told the lady with the attitude to do not come to my house ever again, that the lady has an attitude, and that they need to learn to run a business (in much more colorful language, I had enough of being treated like a piece of dirt). The owner of the company apparently was on the call or they had me on speaker phone and he started using some colorful language back at me. It was good times. Seriously, avoid this company. Give your money to a company with some sense and organization.

The service is awesome. The service tech (Scott), communicated with us and took his time to let us know the best way to maintain the unit. We purchased a new unit which was a good deal. They were also courteous.

Just changed my service provider to United A/C. I could kick myself that I didnt do this earlier! Robbie and Maggie provided the best service snd I highly recommend this company for superior maintenance service! Keep up the good work and you have me for life!!

We had an amazing experience with all of the staff! Jake came to the house and gave an honest assessment of our 18 yr old AC unit and Tyrone and Marco did an excellent job doing a tune up and coil cleaning on our delicate unit!! We would absolutely recommend them!!

My motor in my air handler blew and was blowing a burning smell through my air vents. I had Tyrone and Marco come out and replace my air handler with a brand new one. They did an amazing job and were very detailed. They explained everything that was going on, what they did, and how to further maintain the handler. I have nothing but great things to say about the work they did. I will definitely use them again in the future if needed as well as recommend them to anyone.

United A/C installed a new 3 ton A/C unit and air handler for our home. Their price was great and the service and speed and efficiency was even better. Tyrone the lead technician was superb he covered all the bases along with Kenny and Mike and had everything done in about 6 hours as well as leaving my house and grounds spotless. It was a sincere pleasure dealing with United and their techs!!!Thank You!!!

Had an issue with my unit not cooling! I️ called united and they had a gentleman by the name of Jake arrive within the hour! He was fast and got the job done within 30 minutes! I️t was a very reasonable price compared to my now called “old” company! United will be my go to for my a/c issues! If you call united ask for “Jake” I️ promise you will have the satisfaction you’re looking for!

We have used United for nearly 14 years and have been satisfied with their responsiveness and service. On a couple of occasions, they have missed the appointment dates due to unforeseen circumstances but will advise us if there is a delay or need to reschedule. Their technicians are professional and knowledgeable. Weve never had need for a follow up on services or repairs; they are done right on the first call. Our last two technicians were Tyrone and Marco. They were great.

So this service was completed 4/20/18 but I wanted to wait and make sure everything is running well. So far, everything is running well! This work was a one day remove and replace for a package 4 ton unit, but they also had to rebuild one of the returns near the attic. Tony and Scott were excellent installers; everything was completed on time as promised, and they even hooked up the Ecobee. The work area was cleaned up as well, which isnt always a given with this sort of work. Overall, Im a satisfied customer. My 1996 unit was replaced, the electric bills have been dropping compared to last year (and previous months) and everything United said they would do, they did.

Great Air Conditioning Company. Called them last year when my AC stopped working because of drain clogging. Signed up for the maintenance plan. Now every 6 months they call to remind me its time to service my AC so it doesnt clog up and they send someone out to clean it and make sure there are no other problems. Maintenance plan also comes with other great benefits. Trustworthy and knowledgeable technicians.

I manage my Dads home from NY and was frustrated by the many contractors who overpriced and mis-managed the repairs I requested. When I researched United on Google, I was happily surprised by the companys professional courtesy (starting from the telephone call, the appointment, and conclusion of repairs to a central a/c system.) Andie and Gina, the friendliest receptionists Ive even had the pleasure of speaking with, and Pete, a true professional with answers to all of my concerns and a fair and equitable solution and price, were exceptional throughout the process. I highly recommend this company! As a new construction principal with over 30 years in the business, I am elated to have found United.

Great service, you can tell this company values their clients and do their best to keep them satisfied. Robbie is very knowledgeable, patient, and professional. He takes his time to make sure you understand what is going on, gives advice, and genuinely cares about his job and doing it right. Also, the lady Maggy on the phone is very nice and courteous.
