I usually don’t give out reviews but in this case it’s different. This is my very first review and it’s a bad one as you can see through the rate. if I could I wouldn’t even rate it a one star. Terrible service, I was shopping with my mom as usually when it was our time to pay the lady at the cashier was very rude and unprofessional. She had an attitude, she ranged up some of plates that then my mom didn’t want, so I proceed to telling her my mom didn’t want them. She was ignoring me and trying to have my mom to tell her. I told her I am translating for her because my mom’s English is not so good. She kept on ignoring me and kept trying to make my mom talk when I told her I simply didn’t want it. She then told me she wasn’t talking to me she was talking to my mom, I even explained to her my mom’s English wasn’t so good. She then told me not to have an attitude with her and kept talking as she ranged the other items. Once we got home my mom checked the recipient and she did not remove the plates, they were 61.99$. She didn’t not remove these plates from our bill however she removed them from our cart. We are going back to tomorrow, to tell them this they can even check the cámaras if they want too. However I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I’ll stick to sams club even if things are more expensive there,

Fast and easy to pick the items up I needed.

Easy to shop as long as you know what youre looking for and where to find it. Otherwise, employees are very helpful in directing and helping get stock. Depending on time of day and day of the week, lines can be longer, and checkout can really drag. Try to get there early and keep in mind how long checkout might take

This happened about an hour ago. My mothers business debit and credit card (different banks) get declined. Knowing there is plenty of money available she tells the cashier can she go pay at a different register since she knows the cards are in good standing. While she has me on the phone the cashier says “You don’t have enough money lady”. My mom tells the supervisor/manager and they finally get her to a new register and sure enough it was the system! Neither supervisor or cashier apologized. Don’t belittle your customers when your system is faulty

Literally JUST CALLED to inquire about membership fees to be hung up on and told they dont give prices over the phone... whats the point?... I need a membership to get in!.. why is it against the rules to say how much your membership is... very rude.. and terrible phone etiquette!

Got here late missed delivery time Friday was able to get unloaded Saturday morning and unloading time was fairly quick. They do have overnight parking at your discretion. There’s a marathon gas station not far that’s 24hrs.

This place the worth place i ever been i purchased stuff for 335$ when i got to the car i found out i got a box cheese chs MUENSTER 36.6 pound by mistake i thought its something else so i put the stuff in the truck and i carried the box back to the store to the costumer service and i explained the situation to keith the manager he refused to return it he ignored completely what i was talking about i told him i dont need the money back let me just exchange it he kept say i cant i cant i was shocked cause it never happen to me before this is the policy no refund no return this costumer service has 0 scale dealing with the customer so i left the box infront of him and i left after i asked for corporation number he gave me the number i tried to call but was saturday i cant wait till monday to call

If you are making a delivery, be prepared to wait. I arrived ar 1230 for a 1400 appt. I was lined up around the building with 8 other trucks. They didnt care about appointments or unloading. I wasnt assigned a door until 1445. I had a simple straight pull. I could have been unloaded in 30-45 minutes. After 1.5 hrs of waiting, I webt inside and asked what the delay was. There was no reason given. I had to call my dispatcher, who called the store and got them to get me unloaded. I finally left at 1845.

I’ve been a member with Resturant Depot since they opened the place is huge but it need to be organized and cleaned also they should have employees to help people find their stuff or they should put more signs on isles and shelves, also they need to price their product in a way so people will get the right price when they check out, parking lot is a disaster and parking spaces is not organized the list is big but I’ll stop here hoping they get things done.

This restaurant depot is very raseist against women truck drivers that try to del loads . They will wait and unload them last. After all the male drivers have come in gone. If appointment time is 8 you want get out of here until they are ready to go home for the day. Not a good place to GO TO del freight too them. Poor customer service. The manager has zero skills on dealing with people. Spent thousands of dollars but when I accidentally left a block of cheese in the cart Keith the manager offered zero help. Basically too bad we are not responsible. Did nothing to rectify. Didnt offer to look at cameras or offer any other solutions. Very poor response. We called another location. They apologized for the experience with Keith and offered to solve this minor issue. We are done with the Dearborn location and their sad pathetic toxic culture of employees dropping F bombs every few steps. Good luck if you run into any issues at this location. The good news is outside this location things get way better.

Longest time that I stood at a cashier in my life. Only two people in front of me and it took them 35 min. Service is terribly SLOW.

Great place for sea food products and spices as well as restaurants food preparation products.

For delivery drivers, easy to find location, one way in, one way out for trucks, go around the back of the building. Receiving staff is friendly, this location is very busy with deliveries.

Cashiers and couple guys working are very friendly just some. Others arent really there to help when you ask for help.

No prices on food items. No help except from hi-lo drivers. Open boxes of everything. Customer service desk staff just nasty, rude. Cashiers dont acknowledge you even though most customers are paying at least $100 or more per visit. Two lanes open with 7 or 8 customers in each line. Employees standing around just to recount food items. Assuming they dont trust the cashiers. Do they have a management staff? If so where in the hell are they? Unorganized, and in need of an overhaul😨🤤

I am 80 thousand $ dollars plus customer per year to this store and been customer since the day they opened, and today they didnt give a flying f##k to exchange two chefs jackets because I didnt have a recite. I dont know why anyone goes to this store when they treat you like dirt, like I said my bill is always $6000.00 and plus.

Could be a bit cleaner, but great selection of foods and products. Freezer employees are okay, a little lacking in customer service, but I guess because that’s not part of their job description as stockers. The receptionist was great - we were looking for halal chicken tender fritters and an older gentleman snatched up all the cases from the freezer. The receptionist kindly popped in the back and brought us a case herself - GREAT customer service, greatly appreciated.

Where do I begin. This is my first time in this location. This store is extremely beyond dirty. The high-lo drivers almost ran me over. I don’t know what they were thinking trying to rush and stock everything in such a hurry. The process in checking out was so slow. For every single transaction, they had to call a manager over, and I don’t know why. The young man outside picking up the carts was also catcalling after my horrible experience. What should’ve been a 20 minute trip, really took me 2 and a half hours. This place is trash.

Huge selection of bulk items. Now I can make restaurant style food at home! Prices are extremely competitive with Sams Club, Costco, etc.. This is the place to go for vats of condiments and other cool stuff that are in restaurants. You need to have a Restaurant Depot card to shop here.

This place is the biggest joke for delivering too. I have been here since 10 min before my 8am appt. It is now 1215 and still not in a door but others come in the wrong way after me and get to go right in a door. So I went inside to ask and was told youll just have to wait when we are ready for you we will get to you. Something really.needs to be done about this place,this is just ridiculous and unacceptable.

I found the employees to be most helpful and very courteous. My son and I were waited on by one of the hi-lo drivers who went out of his way to make sure we found the item we were looking for. He is to be commended.

In the last 3 years I couldnt pay with the credit card, and if you have to switch the lanes for cash-out, there is another half hour to an hour waiting time.Not all the products have prices, and its a total lack of respect for the customer.Some departments are clean and organized, but there are a few that are not (wrong merchandise under the wrong price tags; opened food boxes - and this is because of some bad customers; etc.)

Always a long wait at the register as too few lanes are open at any time.

Since they put a new manager 2 years ago this place been going down the drain, I been going there for over 10 years now before, they use to have all the employees respectful everyone is doing there job right... but now it’s like a nightmare going there, dirty everything empty and unorganized... you ask the workers a question they either ignore u or respond disrespectfully to you... they have a rule that if there is more than 3 people in line they open a new line, but you’ll have 5 supervisors to count the items but 3 cashier I don’t know how this makes sense to them...just put a new management and get that place straight

Shipping receiving is horrible. There is no system here just bunch of kids that take your paper work and tell you to wait in truck. No one talks to you or pays attention to you. Guys working here look like zombies. If I could they would get half a star. Place is no good every driver complains when they come here. Horrible horrible.

Members only should be the headline of their ads and Google results. Wasted trip. Needed a uniform...they sell them. Now I just have a bad opinion of the store.

I found what I was looking for today and one of the forklift drivers offered to move for me and guided me to a specific product. That was nice. Getting a bag of beans proved to be a messy ordeal. Two bags were ripped and beans were all over the pallet. I had to dig down to get a bag that was complete. Then when I went to get baking soda, I had to climb on a pallet of boxes to reach up high to get a box down and get the tub out that I was looking for. Then went I was checking out I asked the cashier if someone could help me out to my vehicle with my hundred pound bag of pintos. I was told, Yeah, hes outside. I look outside and see no one. I try on my own, since the guy is not available, but this third trimester pregnant belly just wasnt able to do it. I finally ask a fellow customer for a hand. At last I was able to close up the doors and drive away. But I felt disappointed since I had asked for help twice before leaving the building and was told help was available but it wasnt.

Restaurant Depot is a great place to shop, with a huge selection of products and excellent prices. This location in Dearborn has a fresh fish department, while their Troy location does not. However, the checkout lines are often much too long.

Every time I go they have a problem in the cashier line. There is always something that requires them to stop checking out a customer and stops the whole line for way too long. Every single time.

Great place for certain things. Decent quality but be ready to spend some time finding what you need or need to know. Seems like always I run into things not priced, or what I want isnt in stock each time I go back for more. Once you get through all that then you have the experience of checking out. This takes an average of 45 minutes and with any luck you will get a cashier thats not treating you like your a total waste of their time. Ive been going for years and have experienced great trips and also bottom of the barrel. All in all I keep going back for more.

Disorganized, chaos, food in boxes on the floor. Customer service is terrible and cashiers do not care about their jobs. Employees standing around ignoring people while they ask for help, raw chicken on top of beef, pork on top of beef, filth and debris through out the store. To be honest with you if the health department strolled through here they would shut them down! I will not return. You couldn’t pay me to buy items from this location

How in the name of all that its good and holy is this place even in business? Service is atrocious, prices too high, but the attitude of the staff I dealt with was just the worst.

Product never restocked, I have to wait WEEKS for items to be back in stock. Pallets full of product cluttered all over floors, hi low zooming every which way.. 9 registers with only 3 or 4 open at a time ignoring the lines sometimes 7 carts deep.Just a terrible place.

This place is a disaster. Their credit card machines are always crapping out, no one seems to know what their job is, and management is non existent. It almost makes me want to become a Sysco customer. I cant blame the employees too much. The problems clearly stem from the top - apparently everything has to go through head office in Chicago, but that doesnt absolve the in house management from training and running a decent warehouse. What a dump

I have been shopping here for the last ten years. For us, it is generally Basmati & Jasmine rice, olive oil, fresh/frozen fish, hallal chicken and ground beef, bulk vegetables etc. My savings are significant. The stuff is pretty good too. I have an occasional issue with chicken leg and quarters being too big and not tasting great. However, you can check that before you buy.The staff is generally courteous. Please have reasonable expectations. It is not exactly a small lobby shop in a 5-Star hotel!

Average wholesale prices, minimum customer service when you can find it. The place is a bit messy and unorganized. Lots and lots of items with no price. General employee attitude seems to be one of apathy. Youre on your own when shopping here, eventually I can usually find what I need.
