I have known personally the Director and Staff of Angel House for over 20 years, and find her and them exemplary in character, knowledge of the community, and compassion. They are uniquely accepted in the community for several reasons which were told to me directly by students who attend Angel House: their knowledge of the community, respect, integrity, and caring where others do not. Their outreach is anointed and necessary for the increasing needs of the growing immigrant and refugee communities they serve.

Recently visited this organization. Was horrified to see the hatred, racism, and islamaphobic attitudes the staff had towards the people they served. As a practitioner of refugee resettlement, the same attacks towards refugees and muslims I hear from the alt-right were advertised in the literature the director shared with us. For example, she told us in her view a muslim at his best is no better than Bin Laden. Even more disappointing was to see her treat people this way in the name of the church. As a Christian who helps the Church walk alongside our Muslim brothers and sisters, this hatred has no place in our work and service. God is not present in this organizations work.
