This review is being left on the behalf of an elderly resident who was recently effected by the flood that just happened and who before the flood had to wait MONTHS for any kind of repair including mold growing from a leaking ac system.THESE PEOPLE ARE SLUM LORDS.They haven’t even come to check on their 1730 Magnolia Apartments. If they had, maybe they’d see that people have moved out ... my elderly friend can’t afford to do so she living in these conditions. We had to rip out the carpet and clean for her... it’s been weeks and mold is growing up the walls and standing water is in the hallways along w soaking wet carpet in the hallways. These property managers should be ashamed of themselves but I doubt they are. F them.

I am so disappointed in myself I should have read the reviews before paying $50. I really wanted to move into one of their properties but I was unable to speak to anyone. I gave them too much information about myself and they still wanted my bank statements. I really $50 back, I know what my credit score in tells. We have to do something to stop anyone else from being taken and mislead. Donyelle

They have been the management company for this property for 4 years. The electricity was shut off because they did not pay the bill. The landlord thought it was part of the service, it was not. The collections department sent me an email stating they were taking me to court . They wrote that I had a scheduled court date. They had not served a notice to quit and it was illegal to evict anyone during the COVID crisis. This is a clear lack of integrity. They charge service fees to pay your rent on some third party website. I dont pay convenience/service fees to pay bills. Those fees add up to as much at $300 per year. My sister rents from them. You should see the condition of the house. It took them 3 years to have the bathtub repaired. It has been 4 years and they still have not repaired the basement faucet. Her iron railing fell apart about 6 months after she moved in, they had a man come and replace the hand railing only(using three pieces of wood). It looks so tacky. Now her concrete front steps are unsafe, we can only use the side door which has no screen door or security gate. HER RENT INCLUDED AN EXTRA CHARGE TO COVER THE WATER BILL(IT SAYS SO IN HER LEASE). THE WATER WAS DISCONNECTED DUE TO NON PAYMENT. WHEN SHE DEMANDED THEY PAY THE BILL, THEY DID NOT DO ANYTHING. SHE HAD TO PAY THE PAST DUE BILL AND ASSUME REPSONSIBLITY WITH THE WATER COMPANY FOR FUTURE BILLS. SHE HAS CHILDREN IN HER HOME. MPM STILL DEMANDS THE SAME AMOUNT OF RENT EACH MONTH. I AM CONSTANTLY ASKING MY LANDLORD TO END HIS CONTRACT WITH THEM AS HE DOES ALL THE REPAIRS, LANDSCAPING AND UTILITES ANYWAY. THEY JUST TAKE A PORTION OF THE RENT FOR DOING NOTHING BUT BEING ANNOYING.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU DONT RENT FROM THIS SHADY COMPANY. THEY DO NOT HANDLE MAINTENANCE ISSUES AT ALL. ON TOP OF THAT THEY ILLEGALLY TURNED THE LIGHTS AND GAS ON IN MY NAME, SO THAT THERE PIPES DONT BURST FOR NOT HAVING THE HEAT ON. ALSO THEY DONT GIVE SECURITY DEPOSITS BACK!

I moved in this property 1/15 with no heat or water for a week constantly complain about maintenance issues. Worst property management ever especially at Petoskey Place Apartments would not recommend to move in

We wanted to rent one of their properties that was listed on Zillow. Their listing specifically stated to contact manager to verify laundry and AC. Weve tried contacting them through Zillow as well as calling the number listed, but never heard back from anyone. I can only imagine how frustrating it must be to be an actual tenant of such an unresponsive and unprofessional property manager.

Im an absentee landlord and have a number of properties managed by Mousa. If you have property in Detroit and would like to ensure that your property and tenants are looked after you should look no further. Mousa and his amazing team deliver a standard surpassing all other management companies. Their customer service and support is second to none. They are very reasonable in their pricing and always make themselves available.

They do not take care of maintenance emergencies. We currently have tree roots growing into our water lines, causing back ups and sewage flooding throughout the house. We have been without use of water for 3 days, and when contacting maintenance and the property manager Wanda, we get no where except they will call you.Mind you, we havent even lived here a month. We have had multiple issues with plumbing and other repairs.Currently putting rent in escrow and taking them to court if it comes down to it.10/10 DO NOT RECCOMMEND!!!

Found out this was my new management company from trying to get maintenance done by my old company. Still trying to get some things done, and can never get anyone on the phone. What kind of company never answers the phone or return calls??? They can send me emails and texts about the rent payment tho.

Dont expect your security deposit back. And I personally spoke with Mousa Ahmad and was told that we would get our security deposit and that did not happen.

If you can find another property management company I suggest you do so. All the donis collect rent and neglect properties. Renters beware!

This man is the lanlord from hell. Doesnt take care of ANY maintenance emergencies at all. Needs to be out of business immediately.
