I had an amazing encounter with an employee over by the fish and small animals multiple times. I think her name was either Kelsey or Chelsea but I am not sure. She was the kindest person I have encountered there so far. She was taller and wears glasses, but every time I have ever come in, she has braids or a high pony tail. She is always very bubbly and happy to be helping anyone. She is also very knowledgeable and loves to make sure that you know what you are getting into. She also breaks things down for you to understand in a better sense. I love when I come and see that she is here to help. She helped me and my son get set up with a hamster and even told us about the correct sizing in cages. We ended up getting a big tote from big lots next door so our new friend would have enough room. I 100% recommend seeing her for any questions on any animal you need. She has so many interesting stories and many animals herself. If she doesn’t know the answer to your question, she is very quick to explain that she doesn’t know, but it willing to ask around and do some research to help you find your answer. She is the type of employee that everyone wants. I have never felt more welcomed and more understood, even when I ask dumb questions. Thank you for making my pet owner experience fun.
I had to pick up some extra items at petsmart.while I was there I noticed the cleanliness at the store.Everything was very neatly arranged. You can go down every isle and find exactly what your looking for. And the prices are very low.Staff and employees are so nice and they will help you find something if you are not locating it on your own. PetSmart is definitely the place to go when you need that special item for your pet.
I bought a guinea pig a few months ago and he was fine but I wanted to buy him a friend so I went back here and got one more. A few days later I took him to the vet because he was acting weird and turns out he has ringworm. These pet stores need to check these animals before selling them. Im lucky I saw it before it infected me or my other guinea pig.

No selection of puppy wet food when i asked but seen tags for them on the shelf. Told dont carry. Why are all the stores unstocked with puppy can food. Plenty of dry. Cashier was nice store was clean.

Its a great place to just take a walk and look at all of Gods creations. And their empty PetSmart boxes are great for storage.

Theres more square footage in this PetSmart than they can possibly use! If they werent paying for all that extra space, they might be able to sell items at a decent price. I got what I came for, but Im not happy about the prices I paid.Otherwise, the store was clean, and the staff was very nice and friendly. I will remember the prices more than a great sales team, if I consider returning.
Everyone was really friendly I came in early just to browse so it wasnt too busy and the staff was helpful.
My teen daughter has a baby python, its like a half inch in with and about a foot and a half long and eats frozen mice. I am NOT a pet lover! I potty trained 3 humans, a family of 5 had enough chores but we do have reptiles. I go in this store, avoid other peoples wandering, jumpy, dogs and cats (Im allergic to both) and hang out near the windows watching the dog grooming. She disappears down the aisles and returns with small cardboad boxes of frozen baby mice and plastic decorations. I dont touch anything. I glance at the bundle in her hands and say Lovely decorations honey... Im sure Paris will enjoy them. I swipe my card and watch her smile! Its a 10 minute errand for me, this location always has what she wants, never more than a few people in line... perfect shopping experience for the parent that doesnt do pets! 5 stars!

Terrible!!!!I waited behind one customer for ten minutes while other associates just stood near the office and talked. When I worked at PetSmart, customers were a priority. By the time I finally got up to the line there were four people behind me. The associate asked for my phone number. I gave it. She asked that I repeat it. I did. She asked again that I repeat it. I did. She asked again that I repeat it. I did. She asked again. I gave up and walked out.
Love the place. Wanted to buy aquarium for the first time and knew nothing about it. The people there were super friendly and very helpful,they help me buy the aquarium and set me up with everything I need plus the information to maintain it. Check there website though for coupons before any big purchase,i saved $20 by doing that. Definitely my favorite pet supply store.

Customer service AT THE DEARBORN LOCATION definitely needs to improve. The attitudes of the employees are not the best, from those in the grooming salon nor the customer service representatives inside the store. The grooming salon was a mess. It appeared that they dont really clean up between groomings. My dog had to walk through all the hair on the floor when I picked her up. After standing in line for 20 minutes to pay, I was frustrated and in a hurry to leave, so I didnt realize that my dog got a shoddy haircut until I got home. I patronize this location because it is the closest to me, but there are much less issues when I go elsewhere.
Groomer did an excellent job on my Yorkie.
I called the store to see if they had any rabbit habitats available. Someone named Stephanie answered the phone & told me I could check the website for the inventory. We decided to go into the store & look since we were in the area. There was dog poop on the floor. We tried altering a sales associate (a male with long brown hair) & he ignored us. We were in line when a man decided to cut in front of us. We told the cashier (Stephanie) & she still rang the guy up before us. The guy who cut decided to call my fiancé the n word & make fun of the clothes he was wearing. The customer also threatened to shoot us & the guy with brown hair told us that we needed to leave. We told the guy he wasn’t the only one with a CPL.The sales associate then decides to follow us outside & tell us to “whip it out then”. Highly don’t recommend going here.
Not too happy with PetSmart been trying over at 2 months to get a simple fish bowl not real big one a nice little small one and stuff for my dog trying to get him stuff for his eyes they dont have it have to find someplace else to go 😞

Even you are not planning to buy now, still give them a visit. The staff is knowledgeable and will guide you every aspect of pets. The best thing that if you want to make some decision they will not bother you, they will move away for a while until you finalize your decision. You can take your time and with ease move around as everything is organised and clean

I shop @ all the Pet Stores. This is the only store that sell Rachael Rays brand Nourish for kittens. Actually I went to a smaller PetSmart and was told to chwck out a bigger store...and they sell fast!The sales associates were very friendly and answered all my questions. This store is very customer service based.

PetSmart in Livonia has been my go-to for years. Since the pandemic, Ive exclusively used curbside pickup (Im in chemo with a compromised immune system). Today, I donned my mask and went into the store because I had a gift card to use. The store, as always, was neat as a pin, and well organized. Much to my relief, every single employee and customer were wearing masks, and they were all wearing them correctly. I felt no anxiety as I perused chew toys and potty pads. What a great experience. Bravo to the PetSmart team!

A nice pet store that actually has no pets... The cages and fish aquariums are 90% empty... My 4 years old was disappointed when we went there and saw nothing..
Not too busy but they only had ONE checkout lane open.Emphasis on the pricier kinds of cat food as well as FRISKIES.Staff was super helpful though, which is why I gave it 4 stars.

Last year I adopted my cat Happy Feet formerly known as Dell from here and I have never been happier he is the best cat anybody could want. Their prices are also pretty good, I always assumed that they would be more expensive but for many things they are cheaper however for other things like toys and such they are more expensive. But when you get the rewards card at sort of balances it out.

I only rated them 4 out of five because sometimes I cannot find a worker on the sales floor. I usually wait awhile and then if no one appears I ask a cashier to help.

I like the store. The grooming salon is very unorganized. Twice my appointment for my 2 dogs have been canceled, by the customer, online. I dont know if thats standard practice or the groomers scheduled didnt want to work with my dogs. Whichever, I have to find my pups a GOOD, RELIABLE groomer!

If this is the store in Allen Park we popped in there were waiting to go get our covid-19 shots had to pick up special dog food for my dog and speed was an issue the cashier rang me up and as I went to pay for it she walked away with another customer and was chattering to them another cashier came over and finished taking my credit card in and bring me out Im not impressed with this place I thought the service sucked and I wont be back there
