I attempted to schedule an appointment, and each time I spoke with them it was if I was inconveniencing them, and they couldnt be bothered to answer my question. Had they simply said Im currently working on another car, can I get back to you? it would have changed the entire experience. Instead, Ill now be taking my business elsewhere. And the shame of it is that I had more than one car that I was going to have them tint, and they have now lost out on hundreds of dollars for the lack of customer service. For anyone thats looking to use them, I hope their quality of work does not match their quality of customer service, because clearly its very poor.

John tinted both my wifes sedan and my sedan on the same day. He did a commendable job on both.. that was in 2011.. my wife and I windows still look great to this day! I dont know what happened to others that are leaving bad reviews on here, but I had a great experience with John. Very professional. I would, and have recommended him to several friends.

John is a great guy. Hes tinted three of my vehicles. Always a quality job with quality tint. I had tint peel on me one time and he fixed it without any fuss.Reasonable prices are a bonus. Highly recommend.

Set up an appointment for 11am.He took my truck in & was done in 40 minutes.I had my previous truck done & it held up till I traded 10 years later.He Was voted # 1 in Volusia county.Definately recommend him.

The guy told me he was busy and I get that but told me to come back and check in 3 hours before came back in 2 hours to check and he’s sitting in his car closed up very unprofessional especially when he said he’s closing at 4 pm and he closed at 2. Do not go and waste half your day like I did

John and I started tinting windows back in 1980 walking down the beach for $25 I am amazed John has turned this into his whole life’s work. Definitely one of the best he has done all my commercial vehicles and 6 pickup trucks and 6 cars over the years.

My absolute favorite place to get my windows tinted! Only $100 for my 2 door Pontiac coupe. I loved it so much I had my boyfriend go back and get his Honda tinted.

I have had 4 different cars tinted over the last 10 years and several friends have gone to him as well. He is THE BEST and BEST PRICED in the area! Not sure why the bad reviews, I’ve never had an issue...and he’s very fast too!

Had My Vehicle Just Recently (8/9/19) Tinted From Jon At Daytona Beach Window Tinter. Was Skeptical At First From The Many Low Stars On The Reviews On Here However, I Took The Chance, and Im Not Regretting My Decision At All. Jon Was Very Upfront And Forward Over The Phone For My Questions And For The Price (Was $100 Cash (He Doesnt Do Cards) For All 5 Windows For Legal Tint. 15% On Rear Window, 15% On Rear Windows - Drivers Side / Passenger Side, And 28% On Front Windows). He Included A Paper To Prove The Tint Is Legal, And My Tint Job Came With A 100% Warranty For As Long As I Own The Car. He Was Done Within An Hour (However He Wasnt Very Busy So Dont My Hour As An Every Car Time). He or His Co-Worker Did Leave Some Small Scraps Of Tint In My Car But, Its Not A Huge Deal (Its Gonna Happen And, It Nothing That Really Seemed Big Enough To Call Him About Nor Knock A Star Off But, Thats Just Me). Jon Did A Great Job, and Im Grateful To Now have Tint In This 100+ Degree Weather Weve Been Having Here In Daytona. Would Definitely Recommend Him If Your Looking For Someone To Get Ya Some Fast And Not Break The Bank Either. Would Definitely Go Here Again With Any Vehicle I Get In The Future.

I came here since it was recommended to me a while ago my usual tint guy was over charging me so I gave this place a try . Charged me 160$ to remove and replace tint, lots of scraps of tint in my back seat and front seats and door panels were soaking wet and stained now from the water and were all sticky . Job was done poorly on my 2 front windows . Had to get them To do it again the tint was cut to short on both corners so it was filled in with sharpie or something . Definitely won’t be back with my future cars . Passenger window doesn’t roll down anymore either and it was working fine when I got here . This place seems to be a hit but I might have just had a mis. Disappointed but not surprised

John was sued by me for not paying to fix our family car, after they broke the rear dash. He entered into a payment plan and never paid. He defaulted on a court approved payment plan. If he can do this, there is no guarantee he will not do the same to you, if he doesnt feel like it.

Day one and the job was done in a timely manner and the owner was polite and answered all my questions. He guaranteed his work. Looks good so far ..

Im only going to give this place a 1 star because, I have too to place to a review. The owner John is unprofessional and rude. He did my wifes brand new Jeep Sahara Wrangler and it totally looked like a five year old did it. His cutting skills are the worse I have ever seen and the tint had creases in it with big bubbles. It was also rolling back on itself a hour later after he installed it. When he sprayed the windows with soapy water he never wiped it off. The vehicle inside and out, which cause streaks of dried soap water down the side of our brand new jeep and also on the inside of the jeep. I explained my concern to John the owner and he proceeds to tell me he would take care of it and refund my money in 4 days. I asked why in 4 days, he said to me he was booked all weekend and was to busy to refund me over the weekend. I tried explaining to him it would only take a couple of minutes to give me my money back and he said its his way or nothing at all. An if I was to come the following day he would have me trespassed off the property by the local authorities. Then proceeded to threat me that I asked for illegal tint on my vehicle and he would give my info to all of his police officer friends to have me taken care of and says you dont know who you are dealing with. This place should have their business license revoked from them. What ever you to DO NOT GIVE THIS GENTLEMEN ANY OF YOUR BUSINESS.

The bad reviews you read below are correct. This guy does a bad job and then uses black paint or Sharpie to try and cover it up. I can verify with photos. The sad part is, hes done three other cars in the past and they were done well... something is up with John...not the same that he used to be.

To bad i cant upload pictures my windows have bubbles already and big gaps where to can see where they stop it looks really ghetto and cheap im so angry that my husband dud look at reviews before going there. now i have to pay to get them taking them off ...but u get what you pay for if u want quality work go to quality window tinting on nova between beville and big tree road.

The best in town

Have taken two different vehicles to them And both have had a decent amount of dust particles and air bubbles... Kinda frustrating but hey you get what you pay for, low price low quality. First vehicle I took it was windy out so I blamed that, this time it was sunny not windy and 80 degrees out. No excuse this time and it is pretty close to the same or maybe even a hair worse quality due to more air bubbles. Oh well live and learn if you go here just dont expect Luxury quality tint

Very horrible business man by the name of John (or who ever he calls himself today). I recently took my 2016 equinox there to get the windows tinted as a Congrats to me for paying off my car. There was trash from the window tint left inside of my car, one of the windows tint was torn in the corner, he attempted to hide it with paint on not only the inside of the window but also the outside of the window. The back hatch tint has the size of a palm that never actually went down. He cut the rubber all around the window on the outside of my car. I had asked about fixing it, he told me to call Friday to schedule an appointment. Later this day, he told me to come in on Tuesday (Aug. 1) and he would issue me a refund and remove the tint. I call today to get a time for our appointment, and he said I took you off, come in Aug 9th. The owner has been very rude and deceitful through the whole thing. I am very disappointed as my husband had just gotten his window tint done only a few months before. Would never recommend to anyone in the area. Please buyer beware. It may appear convenient if you are at the flea market, but take the extra time to find someone else. Do not make the same mistake as I have made.

Terrible service, i had an appointment at 10 am this morning. i get a msg from him at 6am stating he booked a bigger job in place of mine. i would never recommend using this service. very unprofessional indeed. John is great! The service I have received has always been great. The low ratings below are probably from people who have had theyre asses wiped for them all theyre lives. I mean soapy water in a door panel or outside on the paint. Cry me a river. And grow a back bone. Shouldnt you detail your car afterwards. I mean hes been in business for almost 30 years and you obviously went to him cause you cant do it on Your own

My daughter took her 2016 equinox in for window tint. They cut the rubber trim on the windows, ripped the film and tried to hide it with a sharpie or paint, there are bubbles everywhere and they left the trash all inside the car. She was told to call back Friday, and I am already seeing him putting her off and not fixing the problem judging from the reviews.Updated: he was supposed to remove the tint and refund the money. Guess what? Refusing to do it. I say she should take him to court for the damage. The place needs shut down

This place sucks, drove long distance to get windows tinted since a friend suggested them. Windows were done in a short time but thats because the owner JOHN did such a bad job, there were cuts in the tint on 2 Windows, called to complain got the wife VICTORIA rude ass just like her husband told me to bring the car in they would fix it, got there gave me the run around called me a liar saying I never spoke to the wife, spoke to her 2 times about the situation and all she kept saying was they have been doing this for years LMAO time to find a new job because you suck at the one you have!!! My son recorded the whole thing on his phone lets take that up with the better business bureau!!!

Please dont go here.Brought my 2015 Mustang for tint.1. They left soap all over the inside and outside of my spotless car.2. Tons of dust under tint on every window.3. Noticed a black smudge on outside of back window when I got home. Black permanent marker to cover up a 1 T shaped slit 6 up and over from bottom corner of window. Why not put on a new sheet of tint if you messed up? Send the customer away knowing they wont be happy about it when they see it?Spend the extra $60 and let a professional install a name brand film. I wont take it back to have them correct it because I dont want them anywhere near my vehicle....I love it too much.

I have had them tint a truck, minivan and two cars over the years, and they all lasted until now. fourth new car was not a hard decision to make. inexpensive and clear as usual. I will see them again when I get my next car

Got my truck tinted out last week and John hooked me up! He got it done real quick and I was on my way looking good!

Got car windows done mid September of 2016, and its now almost March, they still have YET to fix it. Lazy and rude as far as Im concerned

I the beginning it was a pleasant experience. John, the owner, installed window tint on my wifes Mercedes CLA250. After 5 weeks there was still bubbles in the tint and dust particles under the tint. John agreed to remove and replace it at no additional charge. After the second installation the same problems were repeated. Initially John said that he would remove the tint and refund my money. The day before my appointment I got a call from his wife, who was very rude and condescending, telling me he was not going to remove the tint. They did give me money back after being very rude to me, but now I have to pay somebody to fix his mistakes.

He has done all my vehicles and never had an issue. Will always take my vehicles to him

There are bubbles all over my windows and they sliced the rubber parts around my windows. They also drew on my windshield with permanent marker and tried to cover up where they tore the tint inside. I am so p##### off and have attempted to contact them and the guy is extremely rude and now wont even answer me. DO NOT GET YOUR WINDOWS TINTED HERE
