This place is well-kept, large, has a decent amount of parking, and hosts excellent events. I went to a sign language event here last year and it was spectacular. The people selling the tickets even spoke sign language to make sure you understood. It was very good.

Venue now associated with Daytona State College. Fine programs by faculty, students. Good acoustics, sight lines and professional stage. Formerly a community asset, it could be used for community and downtown outreach.

The News-Journal Center is an outstanding venue. The annual (free) Christmas concert brought to you by the faculty and students at Daytona State College is truly a wonderful way to kick off the holiday season. I make it my personal annual holiday season kickoff. It also serves as a wonderful introduction to DSCs cultural offerings in theater and the arts, many of which are held at the Center. If you have never been, go. Look up the DSC arts calendar and pick an event that interests you for an inexpensive introduction.

Nice venue with comfortable seats. We visited for a dance competition and we sat in several different sections through the day....easy to see the stage from every seat we tried. Parking is very limited in the lot, though. We ended up parking on the street and walking quite far.

Cleanest toilets in Daytona 💯

This facility is well maintained. Bathrooms are always clean staff are friendly. Could have better service from the concession stand, I was there this past Saturday and the gentleman getting me a hot dog grabbed the bread without gloves after handling money and credited cards from other customers.

News Journal facility ha an awesome view of the intercoastal. A great backdrop for the awesome event for Daytona State College and the Project Management Institute. Good to be able to be a part of something so memorable.

Nice venue, but, very poor parking. The venue hosted a dance competition. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The dressing room was hot and the staff was kind enough to bring us fans. They also kept the bathrooms clean.

I attended the Daytona City College holiday concert. Excellent concert. Very nice venue with comfortable stating and more leg room than most places.

The news journal has great views of the Dayton beach area. They have fun events there for people of all ages and you can feed the ducks.

Weve been there the past couple of years for Fusion Nationals dance competition. The security there is very nice and always available. They always have a concession stand available for us as well.

Nice auditorium, small dressing rooms, parking can be an issue. Overall we enjoyed our time there and looking forward to returning for 2 dance competitions in 2018.

Great art gallery on the first floor. Many snack/ drink areas, great views of the intracoastal, nice seats, great size theater.
