This is a wonderful place for weddings and other meaningful events. The atmosphere off the river adds to the ambience with the overlook bridge and gazebo courtyard for great images. Inside they have an elegant staircase with bride and groom separate rooms and a beautiful ballroom that overlooks the marina. Downstairs is where you will find the ceremony room that leads out onto the backyard and the courtyard as well as the marina. Staff is courteous, helpful and very professional. Two thumbs way up for this establishment! If youre looking for the perfect place to have your event look no further this is Daytonas Best.
We are truly thankful to Crystal Ballroom and its entire staff. Channel specifically, who was our Banquet Coordinator. The service was quick, and great, always friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to even run us food while taking pictures so we wouldnt miss our cocktail hour. The view and the decor did not disappoint. Please avoid this venue at all cost. They make up last minute charges. Tell you one thing one day another the next day. They forgot to bring us some of our stuff they were supposed to give to family and refuse to ship it to us now even if we pay for it. They want us to fly back to Florida just to pick it up which is crazy for how much we spent.

I applied to this position as banquet server/room attendant. Very beautiful place. The ad stated that position payed $10 an hour +tips. During the interview I was informed that new hires would not be able to receive or keep any tips given EVEN IF TIPPED PERSONALLY! That they would be placed in a jar for all the OTHER EMPLOYEES TO SPLIT! 🤣 That new hires would NOT be permitted to have any share in tips for THE FIRST 6 EVENTS! Also, after these 6 events new hire would be reevaluated to see if they were a good fit. Sounds like the Cinderella story 😂. I was hired, however you do the math. THIS IS CORRUPT. I DONT WANT ANY PART OF IT. I believe it is illegal to hold back employees tips. I can see maybe the first event, but not 6 in a row.🤔👎🏼 Somebody is getting rich off someone elses labor🤷🏼♀️.
Definitely a beautiful place to hold a wedding. The have a boardwalk where you can take beautiful pictures. A great area for an open bar and refreshments. Their second floor has plenty of room to hold a reception.
We had our wedding here and it was beautiful. The staff are the best and answered all of my questions. It rained on our wedding day, but the indoor backup plan was already set up. This was by far the best place to have a wedding and the view was amazing. They provided the venue, decor, bartender, and services. We were able to bring our alcohol, DJ, photo booth and catering.

Such an amazing gem in Daytona of all places! Honestly, Im not a fan of Daytona Florida, its not the classiest of places; however, The Crystal Ballroom at Sunset Harbor was worth every penny. Carla, the day of coordinator, did an amazing job making sure every detail was met. I would not want her job at all, but she is amazing at it. The property is STUNNING. Its this luxe mansion on the water and the night views are epic. My guests LOVED it and couldnt stop mentioning how perfect everything was! The boat send off is such an awesome touch and very unique and was worth it. The views were soooo beautiful at night as my husband and I were whisked away on a boat. We even got a mini photoshoot out of it. I love how seamless everything was. This beautiful all-inclusive venue is the way to go for a stressless wedding day. I loved how everything was included and I could bring my own caterer. That saved us tons of money

In response to Ms. Lula Ortiz,Ma’am we did not arrive 20 minutes late, I was on the phone with Karla at 12:10 as I entered the building. Karla called me at 10:15 to confirm out appointment at which time she didn’t mention any arrival policy. Our appointment was scheduled for 1 hour(12:00-1:00) so I am not sure how being 10-15 minutes late due to severe rain storm interfered with another appointment. Karla told us we are welcome to walk around on our own and she will give us the price breakdown when we’re done. That does not constitute a short version of a VIP tour if we are doing it by ourselves. I did mention that Karla was on the phone with a potential client while I was standing in front of her at the reception desk waiting for her assistance. I will say that another lady that was cleaning apologized for Karla’s deplorable attitude but not Karla herself. This in my view added insult to injury to a situation that went way left unnecessarily. Based on Karla’s attitude, I believe that your policies are geared for some not all. You were not there to witness her unprofessionalism and total lack of empathy for the situation. There are some things in life we can’t control.. weather. To think I had my heart set on your venue based off of the recommendation of several of the other CBR managers only to have my experience tarnished by a person who obviously “judged the book by its cover” .. quite appalling. We are in 2021!I was referred to Crystal Ballroom at Sunset Harbor by several of the other Crystal Ballroom franchise owners (Veranda, Ocala, Casselberry, Altamonte, Lake Mary) as the spot for our wedding on the water. So naturally, we where extremely excited for the tour of our spot! We arrived at our VIP tour appointment 10 minutes late due to heavy rain on the way from Ocala (1 hour 45 mins). We were told by Karla that she was unable to give us the tour because we were 10 minutes late for our scheduled 1 hour VIP tour and it’s the policy of CBR. However, Ms. Karla was on the phone with a potential client giving information during the time scheduled for the VIP tour we set up a week ago. We are disappointed to say the least that CBR at Sunset Harbor will NOT be our choice for our dream wedding! The customer service was deplorable and we are thoroughly mortified by Karla’s lack of professionalism. We did not fell like VIPs! Crystal Ballroom at Sunset Harbor is definitely a dream killer!!!!

I just had my wedding at this venue this past weekend, and it was amazing. Kara was the one who showed me around the beginning and the one we sealed the deal with. The price was decent. I’ll just start with the overall location. The waterfront, boats and elegant indoor decor took the wedding right over the top. The staff were all amazing in carrying out my event as well.We did have an outdoor ceremony during October bike fest, the outdoor space is right under a bridge so keep that in mind. My only other complaint (which technically I didn’t read the fine print) was the there are no refunds. If you pay for an outdoor ceremony and don’t use it, if you pay for a higher guest count than what shows up etc. Also when given the final price they do not include gratuity, insurance and a security deposit. Those things annoyed me a tad cause I just like to be given a whole solid price and not have things be added on here and there.Other than those minor aspects, Thai venue is a must! Definitely recommend!!

I recently had my wedding and reception at Crystal Ballroom at Sunset Harbor. The location is perfect, right next to the Halifax river - beautiful view. The venue itself is gorgeous!!! They recently upgraded their chandeliers and they are so beautiful, adds another level of elegance. The price includes decor, and they have a wide variety for you to customize your event. Day of coordination is available for an additional price. The staff, Taylor and Kara were great to work with. My guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the venue and decor were. I would recommend using Crystal Ballroom at Sunset Harbor for your events! Only thing I would say is double, triple, quadruple check your decor!!!! Go a day before or earlier in the day and make sure it’s the way you agreed. What I had picked out for decor and what was agreed upon was not the same as what was delivered (centerpiece flowers, canopy decor, table cloth colors/length, had asked to remove sweetheart table for reception but was present - did not match decor at all). Overall a nice venue just wished they had payed more attention to what was previously discussed and referred to the decor sheet and pictures from the decor appointment.

We had our wedding at The Crystal Ballroom at Sunset Harbor on 8.31.2018. Cara (and Taylor) were very helpful and professional as we prepared for our big day. It was reassuring to know we had someone we could turn to for questions and suggestions, from our initial tour of the venue to the rehearsal and all the way through our wedding night. Cara was especially friendly, patient and thorough making sure we had everything we needed. Although we chose the set up, decorations and center pieces for our ceremony and reception, when everything finally came together it was more than we could have ever imagined. Having set up, decorating and clean up all included with the venue allowed us time to get ready and spend time with our friends and family without the extra worry. We would recommend The Crystal Ballroom for anyone looking for a beautiful venue.

Venue is beautiful! I was not the bride so I don’t know too much about everything that happened behind the scenes. As a person from the outside looking in the venue is absolutely beautiful. They are located near some nice hotels so if your bridal party or family will be staying at a hotel you won’t drive more than 15 minutes to the venue. They have a place for the ceremony as well as the reception. One of the cool features is the speed boat! After the ceremony, the bride and groom took off in the speed boat and that was pretty awesome to see. Every detail was very beautiful and clean. There is a brides room upstairs they also have an elevator. It’s really nice you won’t be dissatisfied.

Crystal Ballroom at Sunset Harbor did an absolutely phenomenal job with the design of my wedding on 10/25/19. Though the good definitely outweighed the bad (hence the 5 star rating) there were a couple of things that could have been done better. The first thing is, when i arrived to the venue for my wedding there was another wedding that hadn’t quite finished. This created chaos amongst my wedding party and their guests and family. So not a great start. Then because of the wedding still going on, it caused a delay in getting my set up and photography started which unfortunately caused us to be behind starting the wedding (not by a lot, around 10-15 min behind). I also felt like because they had to set my wedding up so quickly that some of the details that were really important to me weren’t executed properly. In particular my memorial table. Other than that, everything was absolutely FANTASTIC! The staff was so attentive and accommodating! Literally I’m so thankful for each and every one of them! Cara, my day of event coordinator was absolutely AMAZING! Any problem that arose she handled it with such grace! She made my vision and plans a reality! I’m so thankful for her! The decor for my wedding ceremony and reception was just absolutely beautiful! People are still ranting and raving about how gorgeous everything was! If i did my wedding over again i would definitely pick the crystal ballroom at sunset harbor! Thank you all for making my wedding day amazing!

Went here for a friends wedding. The venue is stunning. Lots of beautiful small details and wonderful photo options. Plenty of space for a larger crowed. A person seeking a wedding venue would not be disappointed.
The Crystal Ballroom at Sunset Harbor is such a beautiful venue with an amazing crew to work with. Everything we envisioned and more came to reality on our wedding day. Our banquet manager Brianna, was exceptionally pleasant to work with and did a wonderful job on making our day so special. Our wedding decorator Kaley met my expectations and more by paying attention to every little detail I requested. Cara was very professional and answered any questions I needed alyways in a timely manner. I will 110% recommend the Crystal Ballroom to anyone who is looking for a venue for any celebration.

I dont think there are enough words to describe how amazing my experience with the crystal ballroom was! From the very first walk through, Cara was absolutely amazing with providing details and options for the venue for my wedding. I had a coupon for a discounted rate and she was more than willing to give me the discount. She was a great person to work with the entire process!! Everything from the staff was so well done! I didnt even realize that the people I was meeting with were going to be in charge of my wedding, but everyone was phenomenal!!! I want to give specific shout outs to Cara of course, Who was amazing with showing the venue and she helped bustle my gown when my bridesmaids were unable to find the buttons! Kaley who was my designer and also served the wedding and was so professional and friendly! Krista, who is an absolute rockstar! She was constantly making sure my guests and I were well taken care of. She even brought my husband and I food from the buffet! I felt like I didnt need to lift a finger the whole night! Wilfred checked my inventory in and also made sure I was taken care of the whole night! They all brought me drinks and food and just made sure I was having a great time! I cannot say enough about how amazing the whole process, the venue, and the overall experience was! My husband and I got married there last night and everything thing was absolutely perfect!!!! It was more than I could ever dream of. The staff af the Crystal Ballroom were absolutely amazing and helped make this whole process so easy for us from start to finish. My husband and I chose to have a Day of coordinator through the venue and we had Alberto. I have no idea what we would have done without him. He was amazing!! So patient, kind, and just an all around amazing person. My guest absolutely loved him and they all said they have never been to a wedding where everything went so smoothly and I am 100% sure it was because of him. Do yourself a favor and get married here. You will not regret it. The price is unbelievable for the amount of beauty, service, and elegance that you receive.
I originally was supposed to get married on February 8, but due to extenuating circumstances with my spouses job, we had to put everything on hold and go back to the drawing board. In addition to that, we were planning the entire wedding from NY with only 2 visits and not being able to see the final product or all the logistics until we showed up. Needless to say, months later after we finally tied the knot, we are still getting compliments about how beautiful the ceremony was, the venue layout and the staff. Cara, Maria and Adrien definitely took care of everything for us to make sure the timeline was smooth, the guests were entertained and that we had to worry about NOTHING. If you want to have a wedding here, I would say it is worth way more than the amazing services that are offered. If you haven’t considered the venue in this location (beach, shopping, Daytona Racey way and so on), you need to.
Beautiful grounds
Please do not book a wedding at this location. The manager who’s name is Taylor I believe had 0 interest in making this an easy flowing wedding. Several times we were essentially told certain things weren’t in her job description at a time when we were trying to organize all other details that come with conducting a wedding that people can enjoy. She was of no help; although the waiters we had seemed to be sympathetic and helped out tremendously. We also booked chef Pappas as a catering service which was excellent and highly recommended. The only negative experience we had was with our wedding sales woman. Everything else was great including the location and appearance.

First met Alberto in Casselberry, was thrilled he was also at the Daytona Location. That alone made us solidify the Crystal Ballroom as our venue. He made my wedding fly off without a hitch. He is so personable and helpful, and is truly great at what he does. As for the venue I dont think you will find anything nicer, it is that spectacular!! Stop by for a visit you will leave amazed.
I visited every single wedding venue in the Central Florida area before choosing the Crystal Ballroom at Sunset Harbor. The first time we walked into the Crystal Ballroom at Sunset Harbor I was speechless. Beautiful chandeliers adorned the ceilings in each room, flowers everywhere, the black grand piano graciously sat near the entrance. I instantly envisioned the amazing photos I would take standing at the cast iron staircase. The entire place smelled like love. It was the picture of perfection. A place you’d only see on the cover of Brides and available only for celebrity weddings. I was mesmerized. To my surprise the price was just right, I could use my own vendors, bring my own liquor, and they provided all of my wedding decor. It was a dream come true. On 3/17/18 I had my fairytale wedding at the Crystal Ballroom at Sunset Harbor. It was amazing. My wedding at the Crystal Ballroom at Sunset Harbor was like a scene from Hollywood. Awedding from a romantic movie is the best way I can describe it. Taylor, words cannot express how much I appreciate everything you did to make my dream wedding come true. Because of you my day was perfect. Thank you. ❤️

I went to go see the venue with my family today, and the event specialist Charlene assisted me on the tour. All i have to say is WOW, i had so many questions and she answered each and every one of them with a smile. The venue is so beautiful inside there are no words to describe. I am so happy i decided on this venue. Cant wait for my wedding day, and have Charlene coordinate it. Crystal ballroom you have an amazing employee in your hands!! 9.3.16 :)

Im planning my wedding here for Aug 2017. Ive toured the venue and loved it and the staff I met was friendly. Not to mention beautiful views! Our price estimate was miscalculated, but they were able to work with us and recalculate and customize what we were looking for. Im excited to go back for our design consultation, and of course my wedding!
I flew in from out of state to attend a wedding earlier this month, and while the venue itself is beautiful, it does not make up for the experience the guests had. The wedding planner/coordinator, who Im told worked for the venue, was rude not only to his coworkers but the guests as well. The wedding was scheduled until 9 PM, yet the staff began removing decorations from the tables at 8:15. We also were unable to sign a well wishes board the couple had made because it was never set up by the planner.So while this venue is pretty to look at, I must suggest that anyone looking to book here for any event think twice.
Came to the Sunset Harbor location after touring the Veranda location in Orlando and I fell in love with atmosphere and hospitality that I was shown as I walked through the doors. On the tour they were able to answer all my questions and they were more than happy to book my Sweet 16 for the end of the year. Im extremely excited to work with the staff at this beautiful location to make the night stress free.

The place was simply beautiful. I attended a wedding held there. The bartender and buffet servers were on point also. My only criticism was one of the table servers was all over and didnt know when to clear the table. We had long finished the entrees and plates we had to signal him to remove them 30 mins later.All things considered though, great venue and staff.

Went to a wedding here on September 16, 2018 and I LOVED IT - The decoration, the ambiance, everything... Only ONE THING - I fell down and hurt both knees and my left arm while walking out to take a picture in a balcony in the back - there is an approximately 4 step and there is no Watch your step sign to warn people. To this day it still hurts. There was nobody that I could inform happened.
