I originally contacted this company after searching Google for mobile auto mechanics in Daytona Beach FL and spoke with (Jackie)I needed a starter repair for my 1995 Honda Accord.A mechanic (Mike) came to my home and and after asking me for pain medication (I gave him aspirin) ...indicated that I needed a new starter and starter relay which I purchased and provided to him. He was unable to repair the car! It was a great hassle to purchase those parts only to take them back to the parts store. I ran around wasting my time for nothing.The mechanic (Mike) then jury rigged my car leaving exposed wires hanging out of the dash that I am supposed to touch together to start the car. It worked the first day but the next day my cars electrical system fried and I am still stuck in my driveway.I tried to re-contact (mike) but he refuses to answer calls or return text messages. When I re-contacted (Jackie) at Mark Odoski Mobile Auto Repairs I was hoping to make an appointment with her (Jackie) to have the car repaired properly. Instead, she (Jackie) was defensive, rude, and hung up on me. All in all she hung up on me a total of 3 times.Additionally, she (Jackie) sent me an insulting text message telling me that I have more problems than my car a personal insult. She said my wiring is bad ..... which it is now that (Mike) the mechanic jury rigged my car. See the attached picture.Im out $225.00, a couple hours time chasing parts, and suffered personal insults directly from her (Jackie) via text message. I have that message saved on my phone. Also my car is in way worse shape than before I called.Avoid this company at all costs! They have an F rating at the BBB. Youre better off to go somewhere reputable and pay more money for sure. I wish I had never called Mark Odoski Mobile Auto Repairs. Pricing is way more than reasonable, you will not find any harder working, more considerate people any where else, Jackie went to personally pick up oil for my car today because she didn’t want me to wait around for long. Me being absolutely ignorant about cars, they have never taken advantage of that, I’ve never been up-sold and I’ve never been treated so kindly by a mechanic. I don’t know jack about brake calipers and whatnot, and they are so patient with me, they explain exactly what my car needs and what I’m paying for, Mark is the nicest guy and Jackie is the cutest human alive they will make you feel so comfortable, Bear and Molly are the best emotional support dogs when your alternator has quit on you, I mean seriously they gave me a diagnosis, found me an alternator and installed it all for $200, this place is a safe haven for broke college students I refuse to go anywhere else

This was a worst nightmare situation. I was in from out of town and my starter decided not to work any longer. What was suppose to be a mobile car service ended up towing my car to their shop to replace. It was suppose to be ready the next day and they kept telling us it was almost done just a little longer. 8 hours later they called to say now it was my battery (which worked fine when I went in) and it would be more money. Then 30 minutes later it was supposedly a different part not the battery and it wouldnt be ready til the following day around 12. 12pm rolls around and nothing. It then becomes a situation that it was something they broke and couldnt fix in my steering column. I had gone back home and my mother was trying to get my car moved somewhere else, when she was in the shop the man came at her screaming and being very aggressive because she made a comment about what a disaster this had been. Finally they had it moved to another shop that fixed the part THEY broke which cost me another $483 on top of the $200 i had already paid them. They are now refusing to cover the other bill I had to pay due to their negligence. These people are liars and thieves!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not make the same mistake I did!

We were in from out of town, when our truck went into limp mode. After hours on a Saturday, I feared the worst. Desperately calling around with no luck. Mark Odoski was our blessing. He came to us, diagnosed our vehicle, arranged towing, transported my family back to his shop, and had our vehicle good as new in literally minutes. His sweet wife was very welcoming. His crew was friendly and welcoming, His pricing was better than reasonable. I highly recommend him to anyone.

I found this shop after getting the run around and ripped off at other places. Grew up around cars so I know the bs when I hear it. Bring my family and my own vehicles here for 3 years now. Mark is knowledgeable and great mechanic. Jackie is a straight shooter and gives you the honest whats up. If they can find alternatives to save you money they offer it. This is a busy family owned shop but will make priority where warranted. Some of the other reviews had me cracking. If youre looking to take advantage or get something for free, keep it moving. Ms. Jackie has no problem putting you in your place.honest hard working family with a business to run.

Our family cars cv axles went out and we were having issues trying to fix it. Jackie and her shop family went above and beyond for us! They never gave up on our problem and found a solution. Now we have a safe vehicle again for the family. We definitely recommend them! We are happy we found our home mechanics shop.

Mark and his crew were fantastic. I called them and the secretary Jackie was so nice and polite. We scheduled an appoint for the next day at 10 oclock and called as she said to confirm. The crew of 3 were on time and very fast. Mark, Thomas, and Harley did a stand-up job right in my driveway. These people are very dishonest. Had a lot of work done due to an overheating issue. They finally did a head gasket job and when they gave the car back it had the engine light on.Brought it to Subaru and they said that the O2 sensor had been disconnected. Marks shop was trying to get us to purchase a new one.Subaru also informed us that they used the wrong sealant on the engine and that the heater core was disconnected. When mark was informed of the heater core he stated that we asked for that to be disconnected. Why would anyone want it disconnected? Very dishonest people in that shop. Thievery at its best.

A friend told me about this shop so we tried them. At first they were very helpful. Then they took my $600 for a transmission job. ..never received the transmission and kept making excuses. Two months later I had it towed out of their shop. I reported that to better business Bureau and seniors against crime and department of consumer services. Still they would not return the money or produce a transmission. Jackie said to sue them for it. I am still working on this. Mark was not the first machanic i went to but hell probable be my go to guy from now on. Him and his wife run the shop and were honest and very reasonable.they stayed late to fix my car,they werent punching the time clock on this one. The first guy wanted a lot of money to work on the transmission. I was thinking of scraping it. Thankfully i found them and it was a much cheaper fix so riding down the road today!!

Our son is in Daytona going to college and his car broke down. We had the car thoroughly inspected by a mechanic prior to him taking it from WI to FL. A week after getting to school he was quoted $2300 in repairs by a different shop in Daytona. I called Odoski’s for a second opinion and not only did they return my call on a Saturday, they towed the car for my son & repaired it right away on Monday for 1/4 of the price the other shop quoted us! Can’t thank you guys enough!!! We’ll definitely make sure our son spreads the word around campus.

AMAZING! I was heading home to North Carolina coming from Vero Beach and my alternator died at 9pm, they picked up my truck and made sure i was safe for the night also made sure i had a way to them in the morning. Other companies were giving me crazy estimates and they gave me a really good price and amazing service. Very helpful and friendly. My girlfriend and I made the 15 plus hour drive from Arkansas to Daytona Beach for a weeks vacation . Our first day there the water pump on our car went out. Not knowing anyone there, I asked Brian, the mgr at La Bella Oceanfront Motel if he knew anyone to call. He called Jackie and Mark. They came to the motel, looked at the car and we made arrangements and had the car towed to their garage. It was late so nothing could be done until the next day which was a Sunday. They fixed our car and delivered it to us by that afternoon. I was afraid of what it was going to cost but they were more than fair on the price to fix it. What started out as a very stressful vacation turned out to be the great vacation that we had planned, we never missed a thing. They were fast, did a great job and I would recommend them to anybody. Being a female and not knowing about cars I feel like anyone else would just fixed what I asked to be fixed and I still would have had the same problems... they told me the problem and sent me on my way for.... What happens when your car breaks down and is 58 years old and 22 ft long and your 400 miles from home and nobody that does roadside service will answer their phone? Out of all the people we called only 1 returned our call. Not only did they return our call they also arranged a tow truck and sent it to us at a very reasonable rate. When we got they pushed the car into the garage and made sure it was secure. Once on the lift they determined the starter was the problem. HIs wife Jackie put us in her truck and took us to every auto parts store to see if they had a starter since they wouldnt answer the phone. After spending time looking for a starter Jackie had phoned a starter repair shop and arranged for us to have the part fixed and for us to be heading home early the next morning. She also arranged to take us to a hotel and pick us up the next morning. When we got back to the shop her husband had removed the starter and fixed it and had gotten the car running. After all of that they only asked for a small amount of money considering all that they did for us. Overall the people were friendly and hard working and i would highly recommend them to anybody with car troubles.We travel thousands of miles in this car every year it is good to know that there are people still out there that still care and are willing to help.

Worst shop I have ever gone in. There shady as pine thickit. Paid to have a the up, coils and plugs and they cought our car on fire and had it towed purposely to the wrong address when they couldnt fix it. Said I needed a new moter. Avoid at all cost

I could not be happier. Another shop essentially said the brakes on my sons 2001 truck could not be fixed. They fixed the brakes, as well as a bad gauge and a worn out ac. Easy to talk to and very affordable to boot. Thanks!

The car broke down at Publix I just put grocery in the trunk our. New low profile floor jack was in the trunk ! This car place picked it up on sat (next day ) we got it back yesterday and our new 100.00 jack is gone.i called and. She started yelling At Me .so of course draw your own conclusions. But I would Never go there again !

The absolute best place in all of Volusia county I went to a highly recommend shop I found on a repair recommendation website and just wanted a oil change and check my breaks and was told that I need new pads,calipers and rotors and my fans were not working properly and told I needed $425 in parts and labor I decided to get a second opinion THANK GOD ANOTHER PERSON WHO WAS AT THAT SHOP SAID GO SEE MARK he said that he would give me a free diagnosis and estimate and 15 later he calls me to come in the shop and said the pads have a couple months left and everything else is fine and someone unplugged my fans thank you so much and didnt charge me anything and easily could have said yes they were right and taken advantage of me I will never go anywhere else and recommendations them to everyone and anyone saying something negative about them must be trying to rip off them and every other places they go to like the first place in went to that unplugged my fans etc

Mark and Jackie came out and fixed a broken CV axle in the front on my wifes Toyota. The where great and I watched the entire thing. Very reasonable pricing and great service.

They failed to repair our oil leak the first time then proceeded to hold our car hostage before finally giving it back with nothing they claimed to have repaired done.When we got our car back, the air compressor mysteriously broke and all of a sudden the check engine light is on.They have no idea what communication is and are extremely unprofessional.All we got was excuses and run around a the entire time.They left the inside of our car filthy!No regard at all for keeping the seats, steering wheel and roof of the car clean. Just a bunch of sloppy bums at this place.Leaving another review at the BBB.Had to get a complete detail after we finally got our car back from these people.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! I took my car to have an alternator replaced. They cracked the radiator in the process! Did not tell me they cracked it. They acted like it was leaking when I brought the car in. It had never leaked before. I picked up the car, drove 2 blocks & it overheated. Turned around & went right back to them & told them it overheated. Their solution: handed me a jug of water to get it home! Oh and for $360 they would fix it. I ended up spending over $400 to get the radiator replaced by someone else. Had to have the car towed & get a rental bc of their negligence. Marks wife Jackie refused to pay for the damage they did to my car. She gladly took the cash-and its cash only- for the alternator repair tho. But would not reimburse me for the radiator damage they caused. This is a shady business. Other things going on inside. They even stated they hire pill head mechanics. I think they intentionally damaged the radiator so Id pay them again to fix it. Who knows what would have been broken next. There are plenty of good mechanics around. This is not one of them. I regret making that first call to them. They are running a shady business and have no problem lying to your face! 0 star rating! Avoid!

Came out and opened his shop SUN evening (Labor Day weekend) and replaced the starter in my wifes 2008 Town & Country . Got us a discount on the towing and the cost of the repair was VERY reasonable. THey were life savers!

Took my truck in for a tuneup, engine light was on due to cylinders misfiring. Paid over 300$, 200 in labor alone and still had the same problems when l lefT. Engine light came back on and truck was running rough due to cylinders misfiring AGAINAlso had a friend take his 4Runner in, he had a leak somewhere in his axle (idk) also his engine light was on. He paid a lot of money and is still experiencing the same problems..Another untrustworthy mechanic.. very nice people but l didnt pay to make a friend. Do it right the first time

My fuel pump went out on me while pulling into Daytona a few days ago ..contacted mark and jackie and they went above and beyond to help me get my family back on the road. They opened up on a sunday and for a great price got me going again! I cant thank yall enough for helping us out! Made it back to Texas safe and sound thanks to yall!

My husband and I brought my car to Mark Odosky and Jackie for overheating. We were told it needed a new water pump and timing belt which were replaced. While they were still in possession of the car, they couldnt get the car running. They said it needed a fuel pump which they replaced. Then we got the car back and it was overheating, making a loud noise, and now the air conditioning suddenly wasnt working. We brought the car back and they said that the electronic fan wasnt working and they had broken the motor mounts. They replaced the motor mounts and the fan. (They assumed the cost to replace the motor mounts.) We again took possession of the car and realized right away it was STILL overheating and took it back to them. They said the radiator had to be replaced and did that. We took the car back because the car was again overheating. We brought the car back and they said the fan wasnt working, so they replaced it. In doing so, they broke our compressor which they replaced (at their expense).When we got the car back, we were driving when a loud noise occurred. We took it to another repair shop who said the wrong motor mount bolts had been used which broke off. The engine was being held up by the transmission mount ONLY. In addition, the engines rubbing wore out the timing belt. This 2nd mechanic now had to replace the mounts, the bolts, retap the engine block, and reinstall the timing belt.When all was said and done, Odosky had our car for abt 6 wks on and off. He shouldve paid US! With paying him and having to have his work redone by the 2nd mechanic owner who said ODOSKY used the wrong parts, DIDN’T tighten things, overtightened things, didnt check his work, etc. ALL AT OUR TIME, INCONVENIENCE AND EXPENSE. AND WE LAID OUT THOUSANDS OF $$$$$ FOR INCOMPETENCE.OR FRAUD OR BOTH!!! WHICH WE EXPRESSED TO JACKIE AT ODOSKYS. Guess what she responded!!! Why didnt you bring the car back to us????We made the big mistake of not checking Odosky out before he worked on our car. On every site, there were nothing but outrageous reviews including Odosky being accused of removing good parts, replacing them with bad and charging the customer who was royally p______d off. Anyone who had work done by Odosky was outraged, accusing them of fraud, being cheats and ripoffs -- the exact same experience we had.DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER! BEWARE!!!!

I broke down in Daytona Beach and not knowing anyone or what to do, I Got very lucky when I chose Mark for help. They arranged a tow, drove me back to my motel, and evaluated my vehicle. The next day they did the repairs for less than the estimate, returned a portion of my deposit and picked me up at my place of business. Mark and Jackie went way beyone duty and were very accomidating. If you are in trouble with your vehicle do not hesitate to trust Mark.
