Poor follow-up. I didn’t let them complete the work. I called on a Thursday to report needed service on a clothes washer. Assistant came that afternoon. I already had the machine unplugged, pulled out, and top off. I showed him the broken part and he said he didn’t have the part, but would call back that night or next morning with a quote. He got my credit card number for the service call. He took 10 minutes and I never heard from him. The boss called the next day to check on status, I told him I was still waiting for a promised call. Boss told me what parts it would need, gave an excuse for assistant not calling yet, and said assistant would call with a quote to do the job. While waiting for assistant to call, I got three quotes for the parts and determined that after adding labor to that, it put the repair cost too high and I would replace the machine. I still never heard so I called the boss and had to leave a message stating I was feeling very uncomfortable about this deal. Finally assistant called and gave me a much lower quote than expected. Come to find out, he didn’t know that one of the more expensive parts needed four replaced, not two. I pointed this out and said l was willing to replace just the part that broke for now, and if it broke again, I would get a new machine. Again feeling uncomfortable about this deal, I waited. After a week went by and I hadn’t heard anything and had already taken four loads to a laundry-mat, I called the boss. He apologized, gave reasons for the lack of response, and began to explain what he would do. After listening I said at this point I was too uncomfortable and he hung up on me. I called back to explain why I was uncomfortable and he said, “I thought we were done”. I would not call them again and would not recommend them to anyone else. They need to have better follow up, and don’t tell me about the labor pains, just show me the baby.
