I can only rate this place based on when I was there. When I was a resident there, there was so much supervision that no one could get away with anything. I was taught morals and principles to go by during the four years I was there from 2002-2006 when I was 11.5 to 16 years old. Based on the review before mine, it baffles me and Im at a loss for words to hear how much this place has gone downhill. I was hoping to get the chance myself to help these troubled residents and guide them in the right direction as a staff member, but then again, teenagers tend to be set in their ways and if theyre already doing these things that this other reviewer mentioned such as rape, I think that at this point, theres little hope for those individuals. They should be taken off to jail or some lockdown facility (possibly someplace like California Youth Authority) and not be kept at this campus because of the danger they pose to others. I dont think there would be all these major problems if the residents who can and cant be helped at this facility are sorted out.

6-6-13 Today KRCA 3 Reports that two teenage male residents of this facility have been arrested for raping an 11-YEAR-OLD GIRL in a nearby park...also reporting 500 police calls to this facility THIS YEAR SO FAR!!! Residents (troubled youth) are poorly supervised.
