Had an amazing trail ride today with Sheryl. She was the best !! So patient and so informative. We were paired up with beautiful horses that are very well taken care off and got to see other horses and animals on the ranch. I can’t wait to go back and do the giant horse guided tour ! I really recommend visiting this stable and spending a relaxing morning surrounded by beautiful nature and animals.PS BRING CARROTS 🥕🥕🥕🥕

I set this up for my mom for her birthday. She did the trail ride with the lake at the end, and she LOVED it! Staff was very nice and accommodating when I needed to make a date change (don’t wait too long because there is still a cancellation fee if you wait til last minute!). Mom went with a friend and they had a great time, they would love to do this again! Thank you DFS for making my mom’s birthday so special!

This place is AMAZING!!! Our girls just LOVE Christie! Highly recommend this place for any one looking to get into riding horses or taking lessons! It started with our oldest daughter volunteering...now both my girls and my wife just can’t get enough of this place! What a fun place to board your horse if you are in need of a boarding facility.The owners live on property so if there is ever something going on they are right there in a minute.There are kids and camp for kids. The kids really love it. Along with the riding they have water ballon fights and other kid friendly stuff.They have some other animals on property too. It’s nice for kids to get to see animals they may never see otherwise in person. My favorite is a cow you can ride on! So sweet!I definitely recommend you check it out! Lots of fun!!

It was an amazing experience, the horses are docile and well taken care of. Our guide took us through a park full of trees and birds....I absolutely love it, it was relaxing and I will definitely book a ride in the future. If you are looking to book a ride take lots of carrots to feed the horses because they love the treats!!!🐎🐎🐎🐎🤗🤗🤗

I LOVE this place! I went for the first time yesterday evening for a trail ride after purchasing a Groupon. It was so enjoyable, and therapeutic! In fact, I loved it so much that I decided to go again this evening!!! Christie is very knowledgeable and cracks me up. The horses are all very well-behaved and sweet. I will definitely be going back there again SOON.

Christie, the owner/operator has great knowledge and experience with not only horses, but all the critters at double flush. You will not find a better place to learn to ride, board, or just have a relaxing ride. Booking was done through txt/email msgs. The animals are all in great shape and well cared for, for a special treat ask for the drafts. These are general giants. Give yourself extra time to see all the cool critters on site. No matter your skill level or needs the owner will pair you with the best fit for your needs. Thanks Christie for all you do, highly recommend!

Bought a groupon for a trail ride for 2 and now they are saying they will not honor the groupon. meanwhile the owner is blaming groupon but trying to upsell me on their offers! I bought the groupon on 8/26 of course she says nothing purchased before 9/3 wont be accepted! How convenient! I was so looking forward to this! 🤬

My family and I got the run around from the owner and its two riding instructors. Poor business handling. I hope better communication is implemented so interested customers arent deterred.

I am new to all of this. City girl trying to learn the country life to eventually own my own horse. I reached out to owner looking to lease to get experience. I quickly learn she cares for her animals deeply and makes them her first priority. Which i love!!! She took her time to show me around her ranch and tell me the rules. She tells you how she sees it and in my opinion its beneficial for you in the long run, especially if your trying to start with little or no experience. I highly recommend her for trail rides or riding lessons. She is boss and you will figure that out in first few minutest, if you ever get the pleasure of meeting her.

The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. She took the time to personally talk to my girlfriend and I about different horses and horse facts, which was very cool. And, we both loved the experience!The ride itself was atop draft horses at a steady pace. All the horses are very gentle and well-trained, which make them perfect for beginners. I also loved the fact that the owner rode a bull.All in all, I would strongly recommend Double Flush Stables. I felt safe during the ride due to the calmness and experience of the horses, so, as long as you can follow directions, you should encounter no issues. I also liked the owner’s no-nonsense personality, since that makes her fair and good at giving easy-to-follow directions.

Just did a guided trail ride and it was so much fun! The owner takes what she does very seriously and loves her animals! I had the privilege of riding baby Tahiti and she was such a sweet girl! Just follow the owners instructions and listen carefully! Also, it was a young lady that was in the back of the guided tour and she was VERY knowledgeable about the horses and horseback riding in general! I was amazed by all the information I was recieving throughout the trail ride which made the experience too notch. I definitely will be back again! It was my 3rd time horseback riding and I wasn’t disappointed!Keep up the great work guys and tell Tahiti and Gunther I said hi!!!! :)

This was one of the most exciting thing I’ve e ever experienced. This was my second time there and it was just as exciting as the first time. I’m seriously considering taking classes and going every month. The horses are great and gentle, and the instructor is nice and patient. Good times.

The ride was fantastic. It was so relaxing and the horses were all taken care of. The owner was so real and honest and on time. It was one of the best rides i have ever taken. I will definitely recommend to anyone who wants to ride horses. I took the morning ride and it was one of the best decisions ever, the ride seemed a lot longer than an hour and 30 minutes. Right after the ride i was able to feed the horses. The horses are all very nice. I spoke to the owner and she told me that most of the horses are rescues and she takes very good care of all of them. I will definitely be back!!

Excellent ride. Christie was great and knowledgeable. Picked the perfect horse for my hubbys 2nd ride ever and his first ride sucked but it wasnt here and it was a very long time ago. He became relaxed and more confident. Shes amazing. And Im so glad she knew what she was doing as some of the people I talked to in my searching killed me as a customer just by talking if yA know what I mean. I was happy about riding the Percheron Orchid.as we are getting a horse farm soon and will be purchasing drafts from a kill pen. And we are checking out the draft breeds. I felt like she was attentive and definitely pays attention to these big fyrbabies. Your place is where Im going to ride again. And I hope I can get the time to come volunteer . Chrissy was fantastic. She laid out very clear expectations and made sure we understood them. We arrived early and in the proper gear including a helmet for my young daughter. We had an outstanding experience! The trail was very tranquil and relaxing.At the end we were allowed to give the beautiful horses a snack of carrots.

Attempted to message the business by phone- however they are text only (which is very unprofessional). I asked how the Groupon worked before purchasing- never committed to even using it and was treated with disrespect. Every message was why I should not use their Groupon (so why they don’t just take it off is beyond me). It took about three days for anyone to even respond. At this point I didn’t even want to use the Groupon and just wanted information on their trails and I was scolded for having a ‘very limited window’ when I gave them five days. If you are looking for somewhere in that area to horseback ride I would not recommend double flush stables, instead close-by there is a horseback riding place called A&A Adventures- these are two down to earth people, $65 for an hour on a horse in a scenic trail (there were butterflies everywhere and we even got to go in a lake) and they were willing to get me an appointment the day I called - they were so kind, funny and even provided snacks and refreshments afterwards! I am actually a little thankful for the bad experience with double-flush, because the other place was so great!

Anyone contemplating purchasing a trail ride on line from this business please beware. I definitely feel like the stable has been stealing from me. I purchased a Groupon for a trail ride for 2 on June 27, 2020 and contacted the owner right away to make an appointment. She referred me to the riding instructor but said that I could have a trail ride appointment on July 8 if I purchased directly, however Groupon trail rides have a waiting period (which turns out to be months). After contacting the riding instructor, Sharyl Faulkner, she gave me an appointment for September 17 and said she needed the Groupon bar code to verify my purchase. On June 28 they redeemed my Groupon as used (please see attached pictures).Today they contacted me and let me know that they will not honor my appointment because Groupon should have closed our campaign at the start of all this Covid hysteria. (Seriously, hundreds of thousands of people die and she calls it a hysteria?) She told me to contact Groupon to request a refund, which I obviously wont get because Double Flush Stables already redeemed the coupon and most likely got paid for it in June. I stated my concern that they had already redeemed my coupon and that they thereby agreed to provide the service, but to no avail. They said if I still wanted to come for the trail ride I could purchase directly and the same price will be honored. However, they advertise a trail ride for 2 on Groupon for $65, but will charge you $65 per person for a trail ride if purchased directly. Also, I will still lose the money I spent on purchasing the trail rides through Groupon. I do not recommend for anyone to enter into any monetary agreement with this stable over the internet or over the phone..

Please dont put your business on groupon if you can treat people who buy the groupon with respect. I reached out to Double Flush Stables to set the appointment for my ride for 2 and as soon as I mentioned groupon I was referred to another person who is the only one at the stable who handles rides with groupon. Then I reached out to her, Sheryl I think is her name, and I selected the time and date then I provided her the groupon and said that since I have a groupon she can only do weekday mornings with my availability. So I asked how I can go ahead and proceed with booking directly and paying full price for my selected appointment without groupon and she already gave the appointment away to someone else. Took forever to respond via text and they dont answer calls, only text. I cant provide my business to someone who treats people like that. Ill say it again, dont put your business on groupon if you cant treat people with respect. Ill be getting a refund from groupon and taking my business elsewhere. There are plenty stables in Southwest Ranches and I wont be giving this one a chance after the experience. Its a shame too because we wanted to book a whole party for the lake experience.

It was my second time riding at Double Flush Stables & it was as much fun as the first time. My husband Kevin came with me this time & enjoyed it as much as I did he loves his horse Nora. The ride is a beautiful it’s old Florida landscapes & vegetation. Don’t forget to bring carrots because you can feed all the horses & other animals which is also so much fun. Kevin & I can’t say enough about our experience. I know we will be ridding at least once to twice a month that’s how much fun we had. 💜💜💜

I went riding this morning. Every member of staff was very friendly and really loved the horses. The owner was not only funny and kind. She was also extremely knowledgeable about the horses and the rescue aspect of horses. I plan to return as often as I can. This was a wonderful experience. The trail ride was nice and the horses are all sweethearts. Dont forget your carrots for after the ride. The horses loved them.

I had an awesome experience. The owner, I believe her name was Christy, I can’t remember. She was a no nonsense type of woman and I absolutely loved that about her. I rode on Ferrari who was the bravest out of the 4, and I couldn’t have been paired with a better match. I had the opportunity to talk to the owner about her life and how she came to own 13 horses. You could tell how much she enjoys what she does and how these horses are her life. I admire her for all that she has done for these gentle giants, I gained a lot of knowledge about horses and I hope to be back soon! I also recommend going in the morning when the weather is cooler. ☺️

Very relaxing ride. A nice escape from the world. It was my girlfriend’s first time on a horse and Christie made it easy for her. We’re excited to make the trip back some day.

Double flush is the best stable I have ever been to and I have been to a lot. You cant ask for someone like the owner with years under belt to be honest and straight forward with you. This place has become a home away from home for me and my kids. I met Christy at the Orange blossom festival. We love her and the work she does could not ask for a more family oriented place!!

Christy was so wonderful! My partner and I had a great ride on Ferrari and Sebastian this morning. The trail was pretty and peaceful. My favorite part was probably petting the goats and pigs.....they are so darned cute! Thank you for a fantastic experience and we cant wait to come back and do it again!

My first time on a horse and the instructor made us feel so comfortable. My boyfriend was a little nervous but he got the hang of it. He was Tahitis first rider. It was such an amazing experience for us, and we will definitely go back for more.

Christie was a gracious and knowledgeable owner who answered any questions we had and put every one at ease with the gentle giants! Definitely a great breezy morning for a horse ride down a marked and well maintained trail. Everyone should try this AT LEAST once in their lifetime.

Ive been here twice, and its a lovely trail ride every time. Taking a ride on a big beautiful clydesdale through the pretty wooded areas in and around Tree Tops Park....worth every penny. Christie is a great horse mama and trail leader, honest and upfront with her business. Ill keep coming back!

Horrible experience, we make an appointment and have to pay full amount of the ride before we get there, but the guide was so rude with my 8 years old daughter so she starts to cry and was afraid to go anywhere by her self for the ride without any support and instructions. So, we left without any refund. Just frustrated. Absolutely not recommending go there with kids.

A+++++++ Young lady whom runs this operation goes by Christy. They take in horses with injuries and cares for them. Vets, food and love. This is by far the most genuine and caring group I’ve met yet. All the money from Groupon goes to the care of the horses. Tip generously as that’s what goes to the guides. Any all of donations for hay and vets are always greatly appreciated.

We meet with Christie she was very cold and rude for the entire ride. She stated at the beginning that she was going to yell to us, not as us. Unfortunately we were yelled at throughout the entire ride. I will never go there again.

Each ride with Christie and her amazing draft horses has left me wanting to figure out a date for my next ride! Its such a unique and humbling experience to be able to ride such awesome gentle giants. Where else in South Florida can you get that experience? I booked a trail ride for myself and my elementary aged son during the pandemic. I booked on a Wednesday for the only slot left they had on the next Friday morning at 9:30 am. In the interim, Broward Schools announced that Friday morning starting at 8:00 am they would be allowing parents to go pick up their childs laptop so they could start their virtual learning while being quarantined. I got to the school at 7:50 AM to wait in a line 100 people long already (first come first serve). Finally got his computer and RUSHED to the barn so we would make the ride. I should mention he was SO excited for this day as he has been coming to work with me every day sitting by himself reading because we werent shut down or remote. I texted the owner that I was running late because I was picking up equipment for my sons education. I arrived at 9:33 am. As I pulled up I was informed I would have to pay an additional $40 CASH as a waiting fee in order to ride! The other riders had not left yet the ride hadnt started, she was still putting extra equipment away and getting set up. But I was told I needed to cough up $40 cash because I was THREE minutes late. I did not have the cash on me - nor could I afford another $40 on top of the $110 I already paid in advance for the ride. You see, Im a single mom, I WAS working three jobs to make sure I could provide for my son. Well, because of this pandemic I lost TWO of those jobs. Yet I was still willing to drop $110 to support another small business and to give my son a well deserved reward for his excellent behavior all week. Now I had to explain to my visibly upset son why we were going back home - because we were THREE MINUTES late because I had to go get his computer from school so he could continue learning and I couldnt afford to spend another $40 (for a total of $150) on a 75 minute trail ride. I texted the woman asking for a refund of the $110 since we didnt go on the ride and she REFUSED to refund the money I paid her. Essentially saying I chose to not go on the ride so I dont get a refund and I could have paid the $40 to go. NO i COULD NOT have paid it 1) I didnt have the cash she demanded and 2) I could barely afford to pay the $110 to do it to begin with. People should be coming together and making concessions to their business model during this time - not preying on people and trying to profit off of someone elses misfortune. This barn should be ashamed of themselves for their behavior and treatment towards people during this time.

Great trail tour, it was my first time on a horse and they were great. Very easy to ride, Christie the trail boss is also great. Highly recommend Double Flush Stables trail tours, my daughter and I both had an amazing time.

It had been years since I rode a house and was very nervous at my age. My experience was wonderful and I had the most enjoyable and relaxing ride. Looking forward to going again soon.

Decided to take my wife horseback riding for the for the first time for our one year wedding anniversary. At first I was sceptical about doing it and was even very nervous when I first got on Ferrari (The Horse), however after riding for about another 5 minutes I found myself enjoying the ride and trails. It was a very peaceful and scenic trail and the guides are very attentive to your needs and resourceful when it comes to answering questions about the horses. I will definitely be coming back

On Wednesday last week, I met Christi, tbe owner, and Heidi, the horse, and experienced one of the best times. As a child, I fantasized about horseback riding (Black Beauty, Mr. Ed, etc.) and yearned to own a horse. Riding at the Double Flush Stables made my childhood dream come true. A beautiful, serene and informatve ride thanks to Christi. She answered all of my questions with clarity. Thank you so much and Ill be back as well as tell my family/friends about you caring horse haven here in South Florida.

The owner is extremely rude. She is aggressive and unfortunately does not have any manners or customer service skills whatsoever. We were looking forward to a pleasant experience only to be encountered with a miserable person claiming she is the owner. Terrible. We ended up having a completely fantastic ride at Bar-B- Ranch and not riding at this one. Definitely do not recommend.

Had a wonderful time went as a surprise for me and sis bday the trial was everything.I chose the evening ride which was great the weather was perfect.Was a little scared feeding the horses at the end but once I saw the others I was ok.The horses are big and well kept.I enjoyed myself with Heidi looking forward to coming back with my son.

I was so happy to see & meet (pet) some of the rescued animals they have there to start. My trail ride was sooo relaxing. We meandered through wooded trails full of exotic foliage, pretty-as-a-postcard treelined landscapes and green fields! The horses were absolutely stunning and easy to ride. The stables were very easy to find too. All in all, so happy I got to spend my afternoon there & cant wait to go back. A wonderful experience

Double flush stables backs up to some of the best trails in davie. The perfect barn for a first time rider, or someone with loads of experience looking for a barn that truly feels like home. The owner is a very experienced horsewoman, and will always make sure everybody has fun and stays safe.

Owner is a very busy lady. Give her time to reply to text. Suggestion to book at least 3 maybe 4 weeks in advance. Read the rules well. Nice horses.

Christy was fantastic. She explained the temperament of each horse before helping us get in the saddle. I rode Heidi she was such a gem. The trail was peaceful and I loved it! They also have lessons and a few other small farm animals to see!

Extremely complicated to book should you be using a coupon. AVOID. Prices are constantly changing, and who ever answers the texts has absolutely no tact nor knows how to respond with a SIMPLE date and time of booking. You wil receive numerous texts but ZERO confirming the booking, zero confirmation. AVOID theres a lot of these everywhere. Giant or no Giant horses is just not worth the wasted time and aggravation to book!!

Christie runs their Facebook page, you wont see true reviews there, she removed me when I expressed concern. I visited the ranch under false preface, then they tried to tell me I had to pay a couple hundred to visit in the future, although I only came to help out and see if my son liked it (not for riding). When I shared my experience in a non aggressive maybe its a misunderstanding way via Facebook, she called me names and then blocked me. In my opinion, this business is doing fraud and anyone that speaks up gets black balled and publicly called names. Very odd behavior for a valid business. I do not recommend anyone to go there, in fact I will be discussing all of this with the town of Davie. If you have had a similar experience, please also let the town of Davie know about it. We dont want businesses like this in our city. Especially one that cares for animals.

Best barn I have ever been to and will continue to come to! Great horses, nearby trails, friendly environment and its within riding distance of Pine Island Ridge, Tree Tops Park, & Wolf Lake Park! Come and check it out!

Great place, trainer/guide is no nonsense but I liked that, senerary on the trail was gorgeous. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Here today for a 2nd time. Christie is great and very knowledgeable about all of her animals. Excellent value and a great experience for my girls.

I paid for a ride for myself and my daughter. When I told her my daughter was terrified, not only did she not offer any help whatsoever. She told me she had no control over my daughter and that it was basically my choice in my problem. That there could be no exchange of time, no refunds, no exchanges for a pony. She was extremely rude, in front of my scared 9 year old, and she said we were out of luck. Not child-friendly at all! She said if I wanted to reschedule, rescheduling due to fear was not her policy and I would have to pay the full price all over again. Would not recommend to anyone ever!

Great experience on the horse ride. Beautiful and impressive animals. My wife and I never really rode before and we had a great time.

Zero service, zero professionalism, wouldnt even book there. Went to the top rated on Yelp instead; they treat people and horses well. This place is a waste of time, money and energy.

Fraud! Do not buy the Groupons. They will make up excused and complain on how groupon takes 50% of the cut. horrible customer service
