Being in this gym is like being with family. When you walk in, you feel a welcoming environment not only from the coaches, but the parents of the students as well. I see how the coaches are so in love with the sport and the desire they have for the students to feel the same way. They create an environment that’s not only fun for the students, but for the parents watching as well.

By far this academy is a 11/10. The coaches here are amazing and ensure the greatest learning environment possible for the students. Coach Joe is always pushing me to be a better grappler. My game has evolved to another level. I do privates with coach Joe and train at night. Im planning on brining my nephew and friends to train with us. Coach Joe has inspired me as an athlete and as a family man.

Raiva is a great BJJ gym. My 11 year- old son has been there for 2 1/2 years and there is not a single day that he doesn’t feel like going to lesson or practice. My son, he has ASD, and the coaches have always been very patient with him and they’re always finding new ways to keep his focus and attention. What also makes this place great is the family-like atmosphere and the genuine way all coaches want all students to advanceand feel good and proud about their accomplishments.

I have spent years training at this gym, and the highlights of this gym for me are the amazing coaches who truly take their time to make sure that everyone is developing their jiu-jitsu to the best of their ability, and the atmosphere the people give off that truly makes it feel like everyone who trains at this gym is one big happy family.
