I was given an upfront estimate and advised later that there would be a small additional charge, based on evaluation. The work was completed quickly and there have been no problems. The staff was very courteous and professional. They even loaned me a diagnostic tool which enable me to correct problems with another vehicle. I highly recommendDales to anyone.

The oil change and general annual maintenance at Dales was quick, easy, and very efficiently performed at a VERY reasonable cost. When inadvertently writing the wrong phone number to call when the car was ready, someone Googled the address and delivered the car to me. Being in the area from out of town and needing an oil change and annual maintenance I was unsure of what to expect, but was VERY pleased with the competent service and friendly demeanor of the staff. While driving to a friends wedding, out driver side signal light flew off on the highway. My 2014 Escape with 46,000 miles came up with “transmission fault, fix now” message. I took it to the dealer and set up an appointment with Dale’s for a 2nd opinion. The dealership was not acting fairly about the problem. Dales went above and beyond to get me a $2000 warranty credit from when I had the transmission flushed (at the dealer). They also gave me a loaner car. Dale’s is the only place I’ll go to for any car maintenance or repairs. I highly recommend Dale’s!

Before I went to Dale’s I visited 3 other mechanics. My car kept stalling and no one was able to find the root cause. I called Dale’s just based off of location and from here on out they will be where I take my car. They not only found the cause but physically showed it to me and communicated in such a friendly, efficient manner. I’m beyond impressed by their customer service and car service!

I took my 2009 Chrysler town and country limited minivan to dales for them to inspect it so they could tell me what it would cost for them to replace the items like spark plugs and wheel bearing and they were honest and told me not to drive it so i wouldnt cause more damage they did better at telling me on the wheel bearing than the dealership did when they had it for oil change . thanks dales service u were very helpful now if i could just get financial help i would let u all fix itthanks again

Wonderful service, easy to work with, did an amazing job. We were from out of town and they managed to fit us in that day even though they were booked to have us back on the road by late afternoon.

I went in with the check engine light problem and found out my transmission was going out. I knew that I had no way of taking care of that kind of a problem financially and then we found out it’s still covered under Nissan. Very good experience. I took our 2014 BMW 528Xi in for an oil change and to have them mount 4 tires that I purchased at Tirerack.com. The cars onboard computer also indicated that the brake fluid needed to be changed. They tested the brake fluid and determined that it was not in need of being replaced, and as a result I saved the cost of doing that. Im guessing that a dealer probably would have just replaced the fluid without testing it. They also performed a complimentary check of the vehicle and found no issues that needed to be addressed. Their cost to perform this work was less than at the dealership and more importantly, they didnt try to convince me to perform unneeded work to the vehicle. I will go there again for future service.

Prices are on the high side, but Ive never encountered a service center with more professionalism and attention to detail than Dales. Well be back.

I took my Chevy Traverse to Dales Service Center to diagnose a problem with my SUV. They got me in quick and got me an answer quickly with what was wrong even though they had a couple technicians out.

Once again great service from Dales Service Center. I needed my car earlier than I had thought when I made my appointment and they were very efficient on getting my car done by the time I needed it for work. No loaner vehicle available so they made sure I had a ride home and picked up again in order to get my vehicle back. Everyone very friendly and helpful. I would recommend Dales Service Center.

I am new to the Quad Cities, and by family recommendation, I took my car to Dales when my 2015 Chrysler 200 was having issues starting. It needed both a new battery and also new transmission fluid. Upon arrival, I was greeted with friendly faces, and given a step-by-step plan on how to resolve my issue. They were up front about their prices and fees so there were no surprises upon completion of the work. Along the way, they were very communicative. I received phone calls as the work was being done and after it was completed so there was no question about what was being done, and how it was going. They offer a loaner vehicle for those of us who dont have a second vehicle to drive, which was convenient as well. After I dropped off the loaner car, and picked up my own, I even FORGOT my phone charger in their car, and they kindly called me to let me know it was there. Overall, the service was SUPERIOR, and I would recommend them to anyone. Not only is the service great and affordable, but the people made all the difference. The FACES of Dales are great to work with. PLEASE GO SEE THEM!

The car was towed into Dales Service center and towed away from Dales Service center. I am $308 dollars poorer and have wasted 6 hours of my time in my interaction with Dales Service center. After a recommendation to go there, I am tremendously disappointed. They charged me for their time and did not provide a diagnosis.Avoid for any Mercedes Benz work more complicated than an oil change.

I’ve been using Dale’s for a few years with 3 different vehicles and they are very trust worthy and they take pride in their work every time I’ve had a service done. I especially like how they use OEM parts which is worth the extra cost as opposed to lesser brands that the parts stores carry. The staff in the office is very professional and they care about doing the work correctly and don’t try to sell you any more parts or services unless they see that it needs addressed immediately.

100 stars!!! I have been to Dales for every single problem Ive had with my cars over the years (there have been many) and I would never take my car anywhere else. They are always very honest and explain to me in great detail what the problems are and if they are urgent or if I can hold off getting them fixed due to the expensive nature of the problem. I am a student, and theyve given me numerous student discounts which have been so wonderful. Everyone also speaks to me in terms that I understand (because I know nothing) and really take their time helping me and making sure I understand everything. I have received a loaner car every time I ask for one, and the cars that Ive been given have been very clean and are a treat to drive. If youre looking to bring your car to an inexpensive place with extremely knowledgeable, courteous, kind, and hardworking staff - then Dales is the place for you!

They did an amazing job working with me. I personally do not know a lot about cars but they made sure that my needs were met and above my needs they also provided adequate photos and information on what my car needed and how they were going to fix it! I would 100% go back again.

Had to leave unexpectedly for 4 months due to COVID so my car was not in the best shape. It’s cool how they can send what they found in the inspection though email. I appreciate that they took their time to explain which issues would be best fixed soon or later! They always made sure that I knew what was happening with my car. Went in for squeaky brakes. They told me that the brakes were very worn along with the rotors and calipers. However, they were upfront and honest about the calipers and said replacing them is costly and not absolutely necessary at this time. We decided to replace it all (brakes, rotors, calipers) and it was at a very fair price ($2k). They had it ready the next day but kept it a day longer for me until I could pick it up. They also gave me a new customer discount and a student discount (~$300). They were very kind and considerate (even offered me a ride home when I dropped off my car, but I had one already). I definitely recommend these guys!

These guys were great. They asked if I needed a loan vehicle for the day which is something unique. I referred my mother to them and they worked with her to make sure she got her car fixed and it was something she could afford. I will be taking my vehicles for as long as I can.

Dales has always treated my family and cars very good. They have always been helpful with any questions and what needs to be work on first and how urgent.Prices are fair, and a lot less than dealers. A bit higher than some other shops, but the question and trust is worth every penny.

I headed out to work and my car wouldnt start. I got a jump and called Dales. Chad was friendly and accommodating on the phone. They were very busy, but he worked me in, and provided a loaner to drive. By mid-afternoon I had my car back with a fresh battery installed. The folks at Dales did a great job of making my day better for me. I would recommend them to anyone!

Dale’s has worked on at least 4 of my cars over the years and I’m always 100% satisfied with their service. The staff is extremely friendly and over-the-top helpful, especially when working with after-market warranties. Tiffany went to bat for me with the warranty company for a previous car which resulted in me paying very little out of pocket for an expensive repair. Chad is always a pleasure and takes the time to go over inspection results without pressuring me into additional unnecessary services, as some other shops do. Having loaner vehicles available is a huge plus too. Highly recommend.

The shop needs to be more punctual. I brought my truck in for an altetnator, and it took 9 hours before it was done. Good workmanship, but thumbs down on scheduling.

They are really friendly and offer a free rental (provided you have insurance and DL) if they need to work on your vehicle. They dont have much space for parking or sitting, so that was a little inconvenient, but I guess those arent needed that much.

I drove out all the way from Iowa City to look at a truck I was considering buying and brought it here to have these guys take a look at it. They were very flexible with my budget and got right to work. Johnny was so upfront and told me that the truck was not even worth purchasing and gave me details on exactly what was wrong with the truck. They didn’t even end up charging me because they felt it was not worth my time! Without Johnny I would’ve been a few thousands bucks down the drain for a vehicle that wouldn’t be running in a week. THESE GUYS ARE LIFESAVERS!!! Wish we had em in Iowa City!!

Dales has been one of the best auto shops Ive ever used. I took my car to them earlier this year for brakes and was pleased to receive a text with a full review of the inspection of my car. When Chad called to discuss my cars needs, he was very thorough and was very understanding about needing to work within my budget. He never pushed work on me or tried to talk me into doing more than I could afford. When there was a misunderstanding with a part at their supplier, they were honest with me and explained everything. When my husband came home and told me his radiator was leaking, I immediately told him to call Dales. They were able to work his car in on short notice. They were able to get his repairs done quickly and were wonderful to work with. I stopped in to pick up my husband car and they even knew who I was. Not every shop takes the time to connect accounts and people. They often have loaners available and when they dont, they are more than happy to take time to drive you where you need to go. Dales has quickly made their way to our preferred mechanic spot.

I had been very frustrated for Having my vehicle out of service for over 2 weeks. So it was nice that I could get it in soon. Went in for a diagnosis believed to be an issue on wheel bearings that I had done by them previously. Was told they were under warranty still and would be replaced for free. Ended up being told they didn’t know what it was but it wasn’t the wheel bearings. Left me a $100 bill for diagnosing nothing. Would not recommend unless you want to pay for nothing.

Couldnt get service for 3 weeks

Extremely nice, very honest and professional. They did excellent work on my Jeep. They told me that it would be a couple of days, because they had to order a part I needed from out of town. My part was delivered earlier than expected and they worked diligently to get my Jeep fixed. I was able to get my Jeep back a day earlier than I was expecting. They went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied with the work they did. Im extremely grateful and when I need additional repair work I will be going back.

They got me started on repairs immediately as a walk in, and even better - gave me a loaner car for the day. My car got a full inspection, they sent a link direct to my phone that showed all inspection areas complete with photos of things that needed work - even samples of what my fluids looked like! Really cool - Ive never been to a shop that used this technology. This gave me a little time to look it over, then about 15 minutes later a tech called to discuss findings further and, because I am on a budget, gave me honest advice about how to prioritize my repairs. They are awesome.

I went to Dales after taking my car to two other mechanics first and neither one of them could positively figure out the issue with my car. After taking my car to Dales, I understood what was going on with my car due to the thorough report that I got from Dales. Not only did they explain my cars issues, they provided me with pictures and explanations for everything. They didnt do any work without my say so and I can confidently say I walked away without feeling I got screwed over. Dales did a fabulous job quickly and completely. I will continue to take my vehicles to Dales Service Center from here on out!

Had exhaust work done on my Equinox. I was told my entire exhaust needed to be replaced a year ago by a competitor. Turns out this wasnt true. Dales replaced only what needed to be. Sounds so much better. Looks like I found a new repair shop, even if I have to drive across town.

A few months back I took my Nissan there to get the breaks and rotors done. They got the car in the next morning, did a safety inspection and were very honest and they had it done by that afternoon even though they seemed pretty busy! I was impressed with their service so I took my impala there as well. I love that they send you their inspection reports and it includes pictures so you know they’re honest. Their warranty is great as well not many places offer that. I Will always recommend them and won’t go anywhere else for my car services!

I recently had routine service at Dales...oil and differential fluid change, tire rotation and safety check. The online report that was sent afterwards was excellent. It included recommendations as well as pictures documenting any findings. It also included optional informational videos. Staff was very friendly.The only negative was the service took the better part of 8 hours, which no one warned me about. The owner did apologize and gave me an explanation when I mentioned this in a followup email he sent.As I was impressed by the staff as well as the report, I will be returning to Dales the next time I need service. Good people can be hard to find, especially when it comes to servicing your car.Well, I went back to Dales 6 months later with my other car because my Honda Fit was making a rather loud whining noise that wasnt there before. They took care of it the next day and I couldnt be more satisfied. Again, the documentation of the problem, with photos, was outstanding. I really appreciate their attention to detail.Chad Jacks, as well as everyone else, is great to work with. Just the same, Im hoping not to see them again real soon. ; )

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We are not from the Quad Cities but my sons car broke down on the side of the road on his way back to college. We picked these guys randomly and we could not have been more satisfied. They were wonderful to deal with. Extremely communicative at all times. The report they sent along with photos was amazing. The only thing I’m sad about is that they are not in my area so that I can use them whenever we have trouble! They were wonderful!!!

Great service, friendly people. Awesome that you get a link to the diagnostics of their inspection along with pictures and descriptions pinpointing the specific problems with your vehicle. They even covered me on my bill when i was a few dollars short! Downside: Inspection was somewhat expensive than typical. Otherwise would recommend: 12/10 rating
