Brought in my Grandmothers Singer when it became inoperable. Fearing the worst Paul gave me an education on the inner workings of the machine, found a loose piece on the outside and the machine is now working better than ever.Thank you Paul. I hope Grandmas machine lasts another 100 years!

The owner has been in business for 50 years and knows his stuff! Hes the only one around who Id trust for honest recommendations on sewing machines, including repairs and new machines.

The absolute worst customer service and highly emotionally labile. Who violently yells at their customer when they ask to return a defective product purchased just a few days ago? If you brave shopping here, bring someone with you so you have someone to ensure your safety and bear witness.

Found this place just recently. Went in twice since then and they had just what I needed. So glad there’s a small business like this in town that offers great service and advice!

After searching high and low for felt fabric for my daughters girl scout parade banner, Jacks Fabrics came through for me and even offered great advice on how to assemble the banner. It is so nice to know that there are still places like this around that know their stuff. Thank you so much!

NEVER PURCHASE A SEWING MACHINE FROM PAUL. He will tell you you can return it which is a lie. My elderly neighbor purchased a display model sewing machine. Firstly Paul, the owner, didnt provide her with n itemized sales receipt. Within 48 hours she realized the computerized machine was much too complicated and went back. He refused to accept the return and told her it would be his word against her if she left it there! Thankfully she purchased it with American Express and can contest the charge. Paul is a unscrupulous businessman and should be ashamed how he treats senior citizens!

Paul was very helpful.... except for one slight problem..... dont ever try to return anything after buying it. he will tell you to leave his store. this happened to me and my brother. we went in there looking for a simple white fabric for a costume (which seems to be harder to find these days than it should be) and walked out spending 85 dollars. the fabric was never used, never even left the bag.... but we regretted making this purchase immediately simply because we knew we couldnt afford it. and like i said tried to return it an hour later and got shot down. so buyer beware.... dont buy anything from this guy unless youre 100% sure you can afford it. not blaming him..... we just shouldve thought it through better before coughing up the money. and by the way..... the fabric wasnt worth that kind of money. we used to spend 5 dollars a yard on fabric like that all the time at wal mart. or the rag shop that used to be in norwalk. which we really miss.
