Had my daughters 12th birthday here. It was fun and worth it. There was trouble with some games, but that happens everywhere. I fell and broke my wrist due to unforseen incident. It was NOT Windjammer fault at all, but yet they called to check on me and make sure everything was okay. We will be back!

Have to pay $15 admission just to walk in the door so I paid $15 each for two kids who didnt want to skate. Paid for unlimited laser tag but only got to play one game and all the vests didnt work. Used to be a great deal. Now, not worth the money.

My son had his 4th Birthday there. Very reasonable price for his party wasnt too crowded and attendants were polite and courteous.

All around fun for kids 5-15 generally speaking. Skating rink, laser tag, arcade games- pizza,snacks, drinks. Has a very small area for younger kids that includes ride on toys,bounce house and a few easier games. Staff essentially make the place worth 4 stars, 5 stars if they could make it slightly better for younger kids.

Paid $60 for admission even though we did not want to skate. (We came to kill some time while we waited for our table at Cattleman’s. We asked if we could eat and come back and the woman said “You should’ve ate before you came in. You cannot leave the property and return!” We tried to explain we were having to wait on our table for 45 minutes, she was not enthused.)Half of the games in the arcade were out of order, some of the working ones did not even give tickets. After 30 minutes of being there the token machine was out of order. My boyfriend is highly upset that there was no signage on the bathrooms telling which was which, he’s even more upset that there were no sinks in the bathroom for the little kids to wash their dirty, pee hands before returning to the arcade. This is highly unsanitary. Very disappointed. I would change their name to Windjammer NOT FUN Center.

Great place to take the grandchildren. Scotty and his staff always put forth above and beyond effort! Great food too!

There is no safety for skaters and i asked for them to play britney spears and the workers were very rude! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY AT THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!

Dont waste your money on the games, as many do not operate properly, or at all.Manager acted kinda snippy when we first walked in.Food was average, and the skating was...Skating. Kind of be hard to screw that up.

This place is really poppin! They have all new skates and they opened it up a lot. Worth going for sure :)

Great time, friendly and helpful staff. Fair prices on all activities. The General Manager let me buy my family a special package they have for another night because the kids were promised Laser Tag. A big shout out to the General Manager and also his Son who was very helpful and friendly as well.

I grew up skating hereall night skates were the BEST!!Skipper was my hero..

Very rude workers won’t go back spent over $100 there on games and they wouldn’t let our kids cash in their tickets that’s pretty much stealing. And nobody there had masks on not even the workers but they said something to us about not wearing any.

Fun for the whole family. Dont have to watch the little ones super close either

They were incredibly rude here, they told me and my friend that we were violating some dress code and our shirts weren’t long enough? They also charge FIFTEEN dollars per person regardless of if you bring your own skates or rent theirs. Honestly this place is a ripoff and the employees are incredibly rude. I don’t recommend. Just make the drive to champs in Lexington. They’re cheaper anyway.

Staff was very rude at the door and did not explain anything or the pricing at all or what you got for the prices yes good for kids but will not return or advise anyone to come complete waste of money

The staff was incredibly rude, said that me and my friend were violating their dress code and would have to button up or untie our tops to show less skin even though its summer and they werent even very revealing. Just very rude. Also price gouging AF, 15 dollars no matter if you bring your own skates or not? Yeah, just go to Champs 🤷‍♀️

Visited this place on a Saturday night. There weren’t very many people but you could probably guess why as soon as you walk in the building. This place is so raggedy. The skates that you rent look like they have been there since the place opened, they had tears in every single skate and half of them were ripped down the side. That is very unsafe and makes it extremely hard to skate in them without feeling uncomfortable. The staff was rude because we had to go back multiple times to ask for different skates because they were all so torn up. The music is awful, really needs a upgrade. The building needs a remodel. Would highly recommend finding a different spot to have fun because there’s not much fun at this run down joint.

Over half the games didnt work, the ones that did work took double the amount of tokens. The same skates from 20 years ago. Ticket counter janes up and air hocky tables dont work no updated music.

Took 2 granddaughters 6 and 8. They had a great time. Great family atmosphere.

I took my 9 year old child skating there and her skates did not have good brakes she flew straignt into the side of the wall

Cost: $7.00 entry fee per person just to get inside, additional cost for every activity.The building: seemed to be outdated, but was not dilapidated by any means.The staff: seemed to be kind enough, though I did not have much interaction with them. I did, however, witness what appeared to be an employee handling a negative or physical altercation that happened between 2 young men inside the building. Kudos to that guy and handling the situation appropriately to ensure a safe environment for all the young customers.The Arcade: Arcade for me screams a building stuffed with old arcade style games. The arcade seems like an after thought of the skating area, which is ok, but makes the cost feel pretty bananas if you only want to use the Arcade.In the end, I would not go here again. The cost is too much to use the arcade when you also have to pay to play the individual games.Windjammer also has Roller Skating, Laser Tag, Inflatables, and a food area. We did not utilize any of these, so I cant speak to the pros / cons.

This place used to be a busy place. I remember as a teenager skating here and it was well run and maintained. I have been increasingly disappointed each time Ive visited recently. First, in this age of electronic transactions, they still require a minimum purchase of $10 to use a debit card! The admission price is $9 something (not enough to use a card). This is hugely inconvenient if you are just coming in wanting to carry just a card and no purse. Also you cant just get a drink from the concession unless you have cash or want to spend $10 on stuff you didnt want to begin with. No wonder there is hardly anyone skating there anymore. Theyve made it nearly financially impossible to conveniently patronize this business. Secondly, their skate floor is filthy. Usually I make a round checking out junk on the floor and picking up what I find so I dont hurt myself falling over it later. Last time it was so bad I didnt bother picking up anything. It just became a kind of obstacle course.I feel like this place could be something good if it was maintained better and dropped their silly and unnecessary debit card rule. (Youre losing more money in business than you are saving yourselves in transaction fees Windjammer owner.)Also, why does your $1 night also have to be gospel/christian music. Couldnt it just be clean family friendly music? Probably because that music costs less to play? I dont know.This is a dive, I wish they could turn it around but it seems unlikely.Also,.. I have my own skates but last time there I let a friend try my skates and swapped for her roller blades she had rented there. Just for one song. I have no idea how anyone would skate in these broken down skates. The latches were all broken so no support and one wheel was completely wonky. Thats disgraceful after a $10 price. IMO.

Definitely outdated and the rink is not smooth. However, it gives the kids in the community something to do. If they invested some money into the building and did some major updates, especially to the rink and bathrooms.... it would be a great place.

We came for a party. The overall experience was decent. My daughter was more interested in the games, which is okay too. Just wished they were all functioning properly.

Paid $48.00 for 6 ppl/kids on a Saturday night.. Not bad..srinks and foods a lol expensive but thw kids had a blast!!! They need to update or oil the skate wheels cause theyre rigid and rusted a bit abd makes the skates awkward...but had a BLAST!!! FOR SURE GOING BACK SOON!!!

Not the same as yrs ago but we had fun.

Place is a bit run down. Only one stall was available in womens restroom, some games took the coins but didnt work, parts of my skates didnt latch. The staff was really nice though and I enjoyed the party we were at. My kids had fun as well.

Skates are horrible needed size 12 roller blades. Received one pair latch was broken. Turned in for another pair latches were broke and whole skate boot was ripped made the best of it. Then bearings went out one of the wheels. Place is not the cleanest never even sprayed the skates when receiving them would not recommend... was there years ago when Mr Finley owned it was much better than not many improvements in the last 15 years

Fun for the whole family! Kids and adults of all ages can enjoy. It gets the kids out of the house and off of all the electronics. The kids love coming here!

Never had a problem with them even when it was finleys skating rink always have loved it.

My nephew was upset that aside from learning to skate, all he could do was play on the small bouncy house because most of the games were either missing parts, broke down, or out of order. He lost many tokens to these because there were no signs stating they didnt work other than the couple token slots with duct tape. He did win tickets from one wheel and the lady doubled his count, so props to her. Nothing except water was a reasonable price (I would say the lockers were cheap but after dropping money in 2 and them still not working, its also a waste). Everyone working there tonight is friendly but fixed Absolutely nothing. if you skate, and only skate, then it may be worth revisiting, but i would not reccomend fooling with anything outside the rink.

Very friendly staff. Multiple games needed looked at, still the employees were very accommodating and helpful. Loved the floor, easy to skate on.

Scotty just makes this place fun for my son whos on the spectrum. We always have a great time and Scotty always takes care of us.

What can I say? The kids love it at windjammers. It a great place to have a party or just to take your family out for some fun.

We recently visited this place on 1/3/2020. It was a Friday night. Understandably busy. However, that is not the reason for the 2 star review. Admission for this place is 7.50 PP. There is no special pricing for young children. With that price you do not get any tokens. Youhave to purchase those separately. Half of the games did not work. This is not fun for smaller kids ages as our girls are 5 and 7. The service is terrible. Its staff is mostly teens. Service is awful. We will not return to Windjammers again unless it were to have a complete makeover.

Nothing. The day I had planned on going, it was closed. And to be honest, some of the workers there are rude. Maybe my review would be higher if they were open more than just a few days a week.

Looks like a fun place from the out side. Employees are very immature talking over eachother on the microphones during games, skates are very old & rugged. My boyfriend got inline skates and the wheels where falling off. They have a minimum $10 spending fee on Debit/Credit cards which is ridiculous & just a way to get people to spend more money. Laser tag is just a small room eith nothing to it. Not very nice, but not garbage. Other than that it was okay. Food looked really good. Cotton candy was delicious.
