This was our first time buying from Steve Padgett Honda. It was a good experience start to finish. We returned three different times because we were unsure of what we wanted. Our salesperson was Jenna Rowland and she was amazing. No matter how indecisive or how many questions we had, she responded kindly and with a smile. I can definitely say she made purchasing a car a joy. We love our 2021 Accord Sport 2.0 and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere at this dealership. We recommend Steve Padgett Honda and also suggest you let Jenna assist you in your purchase!

A place to get away from it all. From Will the salesman to Yasin the finance manager to the hot fresh coffee and the country setting you will feel comfortable and respected here. The selection of Honda cars was excellent and so was the cleanliness of the dealership. No pressure sales and no pressure in the business department to buy unwanted items. It was a great experience and I would recommend Danville Honda. Purchased my Civic EX hatchback and took it home in just a couple of hours. My car was clean and impressive.

HORRIBLE SERVICE DEPT. There is ZERO communication in their service department. Twice I scheduled a week in advance to have recall repair performed. I was very specific when making the appointments, you would think they would know if they had the needed part beforehand and communicate to reschedule if not. Twice I had my husband follow me up there (40 miles one way) so I could leave it to be repaired and pick up the same day. Twice they call me several hours later to tell me they don’t have the part needed. The 2nd time I was told they ordered the part and it would be there by Tuesday. I left the car and was told it should be ready Wednesday. They said they would let me know if it didn’t come in. Wednesday afternoon I call to see if it ready and was told the part just came in today and it would be ready Thursday. Thursday Morning I call to speak to service managers only to be told the part didn’t come in but they would send a driver to Greensboro dealer to pick up the part and it would be ready by end of day. Finally it was done but inside of the car smelled strongly of gasoline. I have driven a total of 240 unnecessary miles to get a recall repair done and all they have to say is sorry. I will never buy a car from them again and of course never have any service performed here again. I will spend more if needed to avoid dealing with this dealer in the future. They are a complete cluster with no regard for customer satisfaction.

Everything went well they did all they could to make sure that I was comfortable, and left satisfied with the car that I liked. Everyone from the salesperson to the person in the financing department were absolutely wonderful. I purchased my Honda in September and after hitting a bird, had to have some repairs done to the front end. Richard Warren in the collision center quickly quoted my estimate, ordered the parts, and Honda took care of the repair same day. Richard went out of his way to pick up and drop of my car from my place of employment, which I greatly appreciated. My car was detailed and returned to me looking brand new. Great service all around.

Does anyone answer phone calls? It took me 4 attempts to get through plus calling other stores to find out information and even prices because they wouldn’t pick up the phone. When finally did and schedule an appointment for service… service took 2 hours and my car was already ready and no one I for me. My husband let me know when he arrived to pick me up. When I finally got to the desk the rep ( associate ) was cold shoulder didn’t communicate… no greeting.. eyes on just the papers in front of him, nothing it was “ your price is… “ and got my keys. I would rather drive an hour to my previous dealer ship and get treated better. During the time there associates just walk by and don’t greet you at all. No smile nothing. Was looking into another car and nope no help. I guess I didn’t look like an actual buyer or something….They gather in groups and If you pass by silence and no way of getting information. More ignore then ever. I even sent a text through the app to check on my car no response. Pointless.This is the LAST time I come here for service!I run my own businesses and my associate know that loyalty and professionalism is key to have our customers still wanting to come back.

First off I would like to say. I have glanced over excellent and negative comments in the reviews and I would just like to give my support to the team at Steve Padgetts Danville Honda for a job well done. I dont really trust the negative comments and they can also be very subjective as that person could just be an angry person or that person expects to skip the line because they have bought all of there cars from there. I dont think its fair to rate a business like that. This is a business that employs many people and provides an income to provide for their families. So, if anyone is looking at the reviews and they are on the fence due to the negative comments. This is one person who probably had a bad day, or is just looking to rant. I would pay no attention to the negative reviews. I have been buying vehicles for many years as some of you that are reading this. Hands down, from the time I made contact with the staff at Steve Padgetts Honda in Danville, during the negotiating, communication, greeting at the dealership, overall comfort, customer service, speed, cleanliness, professionalism and vehicle. This was of the highest tier of customer service I have ever experienced at any dealership that I have visited. Now, you may be thinking I have been paid or this is overly expressed. Sure, I can see where my positive comment might cause you to think this. But, I think what we do each day is a good judge of our character and I pride myself by being an honest, truthful, compassionate person who gives credit where credit is due. The staff at this dealership namely, Jenna Rowland-Sales, Nic Ingle-Manager and Yasin Young-Finance provided such an outstanding experience from the beginning to the end. I spoke with many Honda dealers during that time, but there was something about the staff that gave me a very welcoming comfort level and I was correct. And just so you know, I traveled from Raleigh, NC to do business with the staff at Steve Padgetts Danville Honda. Worst car buying experience ever.I inquired about a Honda Pilot Elite, which was listed online with 2 miles. The reality is that the vehicle had over 5K miles. I should have walked away at this point but my wife really liked the color combination.I was told by sales associate Grizzanti and Manager Shane that the vehicle would be ready for me. When I arrived, the oil had not been changed, the vehicle had no gas, the inside was not clean and the wheels were dirty. To top it off, I was handed off to another sales associate to close the deal. I was never once greeted by a sales manager nor by my original associate Grizzanti. The manager was too busy hanging out in his glass office.The sales person who took over the sale was phenomenal. She came in at the tail end of the deal; Therefore, she was unaware of what had been discussed initially with Shane and Grizzanti.A few days later, I gave the vehicle a proper car wash. While washing the wheels, I discovered that the rear driver wheel had some minor rim damage. I immediately contacted my sales person to let her know. She apologized to me and politely passed me over to her manager Shane.Shane immediately deflected responsibility and shifted blame to us. He indicated that the damage is minor and that it will be “very cheap” to fix. He offered to have it fixed at his cost and started offering me other “free” services that I didn’t need. According to him, these services he offered cost him more than repairing the minor wheel damage. So why not just offer to repair the wheel instead? Now he’s not returning my calls.As someone who is a sales manager myself, it doesn’t take long to recognize that this dealership has a leadership problem. I purchased many cars in the past and never had an experience like this before. In fact, I bought another brand new vehicle two days after this Pilot, so this franchise lost a second sale.I will be contacting Honda Corporate to share my experience and I never buy from another Steve Padgett dealership again.

Buying A New Car - Please stay away.Terrible Experience Specially with their sales manager - Chad.Tried to cheat their customers.I was looking for new car. I live in NC, around hour and half away from Danville, VA. I called this place during the week to inquire about the new Honda, I was looking for. All good, spoke to sales person then Sales manager Chad, and We agree on some numbers. Confirmed over the phone. Told them I will be there to close the deal over the weekend.Two days later, I was at the dealership first thing on Saturday. Drove hour and half.Their sales person, tried to rip off and increased the price $2000 more then agreed price.Luckily they have recorded phone call from two days before and they confirmed that their Sales Manager, Chad, agreed with different numbers.But they did not stick to their words and do not honor the price what they agree like 2 days ago.And their lame excuse was “ Vehicle price went up”. I mean $2000 in two days...Wow.No respect for customers.Try to cheat their customers.Thanks

I don’t normally write reviews but I really had to for my sales guys who helped me out. I had been looking for a 2013-2015 Mazda Miata Club soft top for weeks at this point until I stumbled upon this one at this dealership. Price was great compared to most on the market but the catch is I was 1200 miles away. Called immediately and spoke to Rodney who was amazing and got me multiple walk around videos of the car right away. I was ready to put a deposit down ASAP but was told an hour later that another sales guy had someone scheduled to come look at the car. Next day I called back and spoke to Bryant who said a deposit should take priority over a showing and he’d get it figured out. I’m not sure what magic Bryant performed but I was told later that day the car was mine. I had never purchased a car sight unseen before so I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a bit nervous, but Rodney sent me a few more videos of the car and I felt comfortable. Purchased the car and scheduled a flight to RDU to pick up it up. Bryant worked some things out where I could be picked up at the airport in my new Miata on a Friday night. When I finally got to see the car it was everything both Bryant and Rodney said it was. It was in fantastic shape, I am still just over the moon with this car!! Made the 1200 mile trek home to northern Wisconsin no issues. Thank you so much to both Bryant and Rodney, you made the buying process easy!! Also thanks to the drivers who picked me up at the airport (JR and I apologize, I don’t remember the name of the other gentleman), you guys were such sweethearts. Thanks again!

By far the worst experience I every had at a dealership. I called to inquire about a 2021 Honda Civic that was posted online for sale. I spoke with the sales person Abigail and asked her to send me and out the door price and she replied to she would call me back and have for me shortly. Over an hour has passed and I didn’t get a call back, so I decided to drive over an hour to the dealership because I had check in hand ready to buy. When I arrived I waited over 45 mins to be helped, then the car I come to see keys was missing so I had to wait over another 45 minutes for them to find them. Once I tested drove the car, I was told by the salesman that they couldn’t sell it because it’s a rental and I responded why would you guys have it listed for sell on the Internet and on your website. Instead of selling me that car they tried to press me to purchasing a car that was over 8,000 higher. Now I have to drive over an hour home empty handed when all of this could have been avoided.I literally wasted over 4 hours out my day to have my leg pulled.

My 2016 Honda Fit had some warning lights coming on intermittently. I called the dealership and was advised to bring it in for a “quick” diagnosis on their machine. I asked if I could wait and was told that it would not take very long. 6 hours later I’m still sitting in the waiting room. I asked for an update 3 hours ago and no one responded other than “I’ll check”I’ll be surprised if the quick diagnosis is completed this week . Guess I should have brought my tent. The most frustrating part of this experience is the lack of concern from the staff. If you are looking for outstanding customer service, stay away from here. They simply don’t care.

Service Department is horrible! I scheduled an appointment. Took over 2 hours for an oil change and state inspection. Would not pass inspection without replacing one license plate light bulb at a cost of $20.97. They want to change my oil pan at a cost of $732 because they stripped the threads on the plug. Yes, damage they created. Claim the plug was oversized. Cannot guarantee it will stay in now. Do not get any service work done here!!! Wife and I are in the market for a new car. We absolutely will not bother to even look here!

Unethical business practices. I went in and purchased a used vehicle on 11/17/2020. I was advised that this vehicle came with a Motortrend warranty that offered many features in including the ability to return within 3 days as long as you didnt drive more than 300 miles. Within the next couple of days I noticed that it was idling roughly when sitting at idle, it had a strange loss in power for a fraction of a second while cruising on the highway leading to a not very smooth ride, the mpg I was getting was not matching what was on the sticker for the highway (22 vs. 27), and I found an ad online where this dealer was selling the vehicle for $1,600 less. All of this made me feel uneasy about the purchase so I returned well within the 3 days and 300 miles and inquired about the return. They advised that they could only do an exchange not a full return. I looked around the lot and drove a different vehicle that was not my first choice but one that I liked better than the other with its issues. I inquired about the price and did some quick research on my phone. I found a similar vehicle with less miles for about $2,000 less. I asked them about it and they said the price is what it is and it would not change. I inquired about the price protection part of the Motortrend warranty, they said it would not qualify for that coverage because it is an exchange not a purchase and if I didnt like it to just keep the same vehicle. After a bit of discussion they took $500 dollars of the price. I told them that I could not do the paper work right then because I had to get back to work and would be back around 4pm. I asked if they would take a look at other lots that were associated with this dealer to see if they had something else that would be closer to what I was looking for. I returned at 4pm, they had not checked on any other vehicles at associated lots. I was told that the used sales manager was not in and the paper work would have to be done in the new sales building. We waited for about 2 hours to see the sales manager. When I finally went in to see the sales manager I was given an interest rate that was above what the going rate is for this type of sale. I inquired about it and said I could get my own for lower. I was told that if I wanted this vehicle I would have to go with them for the financing and if I wanted to get a lower rate somewhere else I was free to refinance it later. So while they did follow the letter of the rule to allow me to exchange the vehicle they also used it to force me into paying higher than the competition and with a higher interest rate.

I recently moved to a new state and they were beyond patient in helping me figure out what I needed to do to get everything squared away - Ashley even helped me make an appointment to get a license in the state I have recently moved to. Yasin walked me through all the features on my new CR-V so I was able to drive out of the lot knowing exactly how to operate everything. I went to Padgetts back in August and the service advisor told me my wifes vehicle was leaking oil from the oil pan gasket and said it would be $650.00 to repair, only to find that it wasnt the oil pan gasket but the oil pump seals. I would have paid $650 to fix a non issue. I then had my daughters CR-V in for an oil change and tire rotation last Tuesday. On the service notes it showed that ALL brake pads were at 7mm. 3 days later on Friday, we were backing out of our driveway and heard a metal on metal grinding noise. Took it to a local garage who found that the brake pad was totally gone. The Service Manager had no explanation and I guess Scott Bisby, the General Manager of Padgetts was way too busy to call me about my concerns today. Im only giving 1 star because I have to in order to post my review.

Salesperson seemed very nice and all but after TWO DAYS of trying to get a vehicle I was pretty much pushed aside and not communicated with very well. A friend of mine also came in and was looking at a car and they were very pushy with him. Payments are too high and I know they can come down on car prices more than they wanted to with me. I seen what someone bought a Type R for the first day I was there compared to the price on the window. Very disappointed and WILL NOT be back.

Charges for work they NEVER complete. Last summer I sent my obviously pregnant wife there to get our regularly scheduled maintenance done because I had to work. They had sent us a coupon for a 29.99 Oil change that she was going to use. They kept her waiting for over 2 hours and then refused to discount the service even though she had the coupon. To top that off they had the gall to check off that the tires had been rotated (tire rotation is free if you buy them there mind you) and they clearly had NOT. I marked both front tires before I sent her because I had that feeling, the left front tire was still marked LF and the right was the same. I called and confronted them but it and all I got was some lame excuse. How dare me for trying to use a coupon? Is this what I get for buying a car from them and tires and years of maintenance service??? The nerve!!! Really bad part is now the trust has been broken how can I ever believe that they are telling the truth? Fool me once.....

Saw a vehicle online our family was interested in. It had just been listed but had no pictures. I got in touch with Rachel and she got the van ready for us and pulled up front so we could come look. It was an amazing experience and Rachel acted like a friend. She was constantly there to help in any way she could and helped us get the best deal, along with Bobby on our trade in. We left there so happy in our Odyssey and Rachel has even kept in touch since then to make sure we were happy with our van. We had a great experience here & I can guarantee if we go to get another vehicle, she will be the first person we call!

I absolutely love my Honda Civic! I will unfortunately say that it seems like every time I get my car serviced there is a problem. My tire pressure light comes on everytime I get a tire rotation and oil change. It won’t go off until I recalibrate my car. I recently had a nail in my tire, so we took it to Honda to get a replacement tire and an alignment. Honda didn’t have my wheel in stock so we proceeded to look for other places, and they went ahead on and done my alignment with a flat tire! So I had to pay for the alignment on top of that! Come to find out Goodyear wasn’t able to get my tire off because I didn’t have the wheel lock key. I genuinely don’t think my car came with one when I bought it ( ps.. I did buy these car used). We took it back to Honda and just got them to remove the the wheels locks with there master key. It was such a inconvenience and had to go days without my car. Just be aware that the service department is not the best in my personal opinion.

We are very aware that when you purchase a used vehicle it is a chance you take however please dont tell customers your vehicles are put through an intense inspection before being sold. We drove from Roanoke, Va because of reviews about your dealership. Anyway who reads this please please take a mechanic with you if you decide to purchase a used car from this place!

Very annoying and dissatisfying with the service department, sales men want your business and then it is as though they put you off on the service department alone. If a issue arise about a maintenance problem everyone performs as If they dont know or didnt say or this doesnt or isnt covered under warranty, but this is the norm for all dealerships, when it comes to service departments, treat you cordially and nice at the beginning of purchasing the vehicle then you arelike an unknown person when an issue arise.

I had taken my car to a local mechanic three times and they failed to fix my issue with my car. A friend recommended I take it to Steve Padgett to get it checked out. I called them that morning and was told I could drop it off after work. I dropped it off at 2 and by 4 got a call telling me what the issue was and was able to pick my vehicle up at 5:30. They were all very nice and my car is running great. The prices also seem reasonable.

The sales staff is ok. I wish I had waited to see the salesman I know who works here. The detailing was a hot mess. The sevice department is terrible. Worst experience ever. I am totally disappointed and I hadnt made my first payment. Will not be back!

They really are unprofessional, when someone clearly says dont call or txt cause they work night shift. They did the opposite, they emailed called and texted! Then they say they go by Kelly blue book for trades! Lies, they tell me my car was only worth 12,000 clearly Kelly blue book has it at 15,000!! He comes out his mouth says I dont know where you got your information but this is what your car is worth! I nicely get up say no thankyou and please dont contact me anymore some one behind the glass hollors out real loud We wont!! Everybody is looking, yeah I got loud right back! How professional is that.They get no stars from me!! They suck!!
