I just went in today and showed several pictures of what I wanted. I asked for whispy bangs and she cut them so short they were half way up my forehead. I wanted to have a choppy bob and I looked like my head had been hacked. Then she shaved the bottom part on the back of my head so hard it left marks. I did not catch her name. I literally cried in the chair after seeing my bangs.

My experience was very pleasant. It was my first ‘walk in’ visit, Anna is my Stylist. She did an excellent job highlighting my hair. She is professional and knowledgeable. I saw her again today and I am 💯 satisfied with the job she did. She balanced my color and went in and cut corrected what a stylist from a different salon had done. As long as Anna is available I will return when it’s time for a touch up!WSH

I HIGHLY recommend Nikki !!! She does such an amazing job and I’m the type of person who’s extremely Finicky about my hair and she definitely had me amazed!! She had one hell of a happy customer walk out today . My boyfriend also got a haircut and his hair looks better than ever ! She definitely out did others who’s touched our hair by a long shot !! So I decided to give this place another chance since a bad experience a few years ago.Lindsey completely changed my mind about this salon!I live in Martinsville and will NEVER go back go the salon in the Wal-Mart here but will definitely go out of my way any day of the week to wherever Lindseys working. I called last week to make an appointment with her but the girl said she was filling in at the Altavista store. Well, what did I do? I loaded the kids up and went straight to Altavista! (after calling to make sure she would be there, of course)She is the only stylist Ive EVER encountered that could actually stack my hair in an inverted bob the way I want and doesnt let me leave until I am 100% happy. Ive been to many salons and stylists in several states over the years and have paid hundreds and hundreds of dollars for professional services.Thus far, the only TRUE professional stylist Ive found is Lindsey Davis. She has a customer for life as far as Im concerned.

Asked for a trim on long hair, recieved an undercut that was really uneven. I dont even think undercuts are still in style

I have came to his store for over a year now because I liked the people and the job they done. I had just got off of work and rushed over before they closed to get a hair cut to find that there was one other person Infront of me so I waited for a few mins to just be told they would not be getting to me today. Where is the customer service here can nobody afford to stay over 15 mins for my hair cut its not like I dont tip good. I have to say fair well it was nice going here but I will never come back because of this one persons lack of customer service.

Wait was terrible, only had one person working and they had been busy for over an hour. Ended up leaving because the wait.

My son had his haircut here and it was awful. Not only a horrendous cut but his shirt was soaking wet.

I made an appointment to get highlights.I walk in and tell the manager why I am there.She is the only one available to do my hair and I can tell she doesn’t want to and I begin to think it is because I am black.She asks another girl an she do it but she is busy with another client.then Nikki steps up to do my hair and she is black also.The manager then tells Nikki that the highlights are not going to take in my hair because my hair is nappy.She said it loud enough where I could here her.I guess because I don’t have white peoples hair,the manager thinks black people hair is nappy.I was very offended and was about to walk out but Nikki talked to me and apologized for what the manager said.She also informed me that the manager is rude to a lot of people.I wanted to make a complaint about her but was informed that they are separate from Walmart and there isn’t a number I can call to complain.I haven’t been back since.If it wasn’t for Nikki,I was on the verge of cussing the manager out

Why did they close???

Went for a simple dye job and dead ends trimmed was treated roughly the hair dye was not even washed off my skin just left on lady seemed like she had no time for anything and constantly seemed annoyed

I had a haircut by the manager. It was the worst haircut Ive ever had. Ive contacted the district manager but havent had a reply. Ill never go back!
