Visiting Danville, and in need of a LOT of auto repair service.The Manager on duty, Mr. B. Phillips, was very professional, explained every need in detail. Two mechanics spent over two hours correcting the needed items, and did an amazing job. So very much appreciated and would recommend them to everyone.

Caim in for break caliper work couple months ago, overcharged me to begin with, break was grinding like metal on metal, brought it back, another couple hrs waiting on it, same thing, screathing and grinding from the that wheel, my fiance brought it in for me yesterday cause Im working nights and tired to charge her for something they messed up twice, beware people scamers and crooks at this location

Tried to charge me over $1000 to get rotors, calipers, and brake pads fixed on my car. When I had discussed a set price of $740 a month prior but still felt overcharged.

Wanted a thousand dollars for a brake job and dont need brakes. Have a warped rotor.

I have stargerd fit tires on my car and they put them on backwards and they where supposed to do an alignment on my car wich Im 100% they didnt do. My car continued to pull hard in the same direction as before and even jumping sideways if I hit a lite to medium bump.

This place is an absolute ripoff. They charge double what most places charge. Other tire shops laugh at what they charge.

Not professionals, damaged wheel and broke tailgate handle on my truck

I’ve had 3 experiences with this location...First, was to get tires replaced... simple enough!Second time, went there bc we were impressed with our first experience, to get our AC system worked on. Car was returned to us, the issue was “fixed”, but within 1 hr we had to return bc the problem wasn’t fixed. Had to leave the vehicle there again, when, if it had been properly inspected the first time, we wouldn’t have had to return, have had to be without a vehicle for even more time, but even better... after picking up the vehicle, we couldn’t figure out why not just one, but both turning signals needed new bulbs. We go buy the bulbs to replace them, but low and behold, the turning signal harness was never reconnected! So back to the store we go to return the bulbs.Third and FINAL time, take the vehicle back to have work done on the struts. Pretty straightforward, we knew it would be expensive, but was necessary. Get a call the vehicle was ready, given a rundown of what was performed. So assuming that an alignment was performed with the service, your car should drive straight and properly... well, oh boy, was I wrong! Returned AGAIN within minutes of picking up the vehicle. Not sure how an alignment is done, but I do know that your steering wheel should be aligned with your wheels. Yeah, not so much! The car was all over the road and they mentioned it was the wheel toe. Leave the vehicle, again! After 2 full days, the car was not fixed and never received a call. We called to ask what was going on and to get a response that they had a lot of repairs today so they couldn’t get to it. Should a car that has been taken back 3 times have priority over oil changes?! Happened to pass by, see my vehicle outside... but wait, why is the driver’s side window all the way down? And WHY is the vehicle unlocked? This is on Sunday, when they are closed! I mean, if that’s not enough reasons not to return to this business, I’m not sure what it is... after spending more than $2000 with this business this year alone, you want to have confidence in their advertised work, you expect the services to be done properly and completed in a timely fashion... and you DEFINITELY expect that your property is being taken care of regardless of how busy you are... not carelessly left unlocked in an open parking lot! It’s the attention to the small details that are important, as well as workmanship and taking pride in your work... communication is key in any business, but definitely not to this one! I can’t and won’t return to this business, which is a shame because we thought we found a decent and reliable place to take our cars since moving to Danville.

Ive taken my car to several mechanics over brake issues. Im out alot of money! I took it to Ken Towery by the Cinemas. Its fixed! My car is finally fixed!

We took my bfs truck to them to get a alignment done and they broke a tie rode on the truck. So we went got the part and replaced it our selves. And after we did that they closed up the shop and told us that they could finish it tomorrow. I will never go to them again. They was very rude and was gonna raise the bill to tow the truck with out our promotion to do so. This is by far the worst place to go. On top of that we went there to we went there and got a oil change and they never put oil back in the truck causing the engine to blow up. Never go there. If you want to go to Ken towerys go to the one on Houstonville road and ask for Justin

I used to play poker with these guys in Louisville in the 1980s and early 90s.I dont need to give my opinion of them. Ill just say that from all of the complaint s Firestone got about Ken Towery, they chose to pulled their name from Kenrom Towery. Its no longer called Ken Towery Firestone!But things must have changed for them to have a 4.5 rating.But from the stuff I hear them talk about at our poker games, I still today will not set foot in their store for any car repairs. I might if they could convince me that their mechanics salaries are no longer based on commission of the parts they sell.

Berek and his team definitely get a 5 star rating! My Ragnar team running the Bourbon Chase got a flat tire this weekend during the race, which could have been a disaster for us. He was able to find us a new tire and swap ours out in less than 15 minutes. It was a miracle. These guys are rock stars!

My experience was fantastic. I drove in from Milwaukee to spend thanksgiving with the family and had a vibration on my car. I brought it to kens and spoke with Shawn. The prompt response on diagnosing and repair was excellent. They had me fixed up and on my way in no time without draining the pocketbook. They said it would take 30-45 minutes to install new wheels on my car. It took over and hour and a half and they charged me $120 for TPMS sensor that they “couldn’t get switched over from the old wheel.” To buy the entire set online is $50. Do not go here.

Had an appointment at 9:00 for brake pads and rotor resurface. Was told under 2 hour wait time. Finally left after 3 hours and 25 minutes. Was quoted 80 per tire. Added coolant flush service after I got there which was “a special” at $80. First quoted $531 when I went to pay!!! Final was $479 ... still too much. $40 “shop fee” ridiculous and should have been waived for misquote if time and price!!!!!!!Gone here for years....not anymore. Seriously gone downhill since it changed from Hometown Tire to Ken Towery.

I visited Ken Towerys today because I was having a problem with my A/C not blowing cold air. While they had my car, they also let me know I needed an oil change and new brakes. They did the oil change, my A/C is back working again and I’m going back to have my brakes changed tomorrow. The employee that helped me, Berek, was very nice and helpful. I will definitely always go there in the future!

Worst shop Ive ever been too. Had them replace my radiator and they didnt even fill it all the way up with coolant. Then a month later it started to leak again. Had them replace my rear tires and I could take one wheel off easily with a 4way but the other wheel was on there like the hulk tightened it. These guys usually dont even have but one certified tech. Absolute GARBAGE

I always feel like I was told the truth, given a very fair price and they stand behind their work. I get tires there too - I must have had them 2 yrs and went in with a slow leak - I had picked up a nail. They fixed it, tested it and no charge. How can you beat that? Those little things mean a LOT to me.Trust worthy and fair. I love that.
