Having owned a Design/Build General Contracting Co. for 35 years, I knew exactly what I wanted from my building contractor for the remodel/addition project on our Summer home: Timely Communication, Craftsmanship and a Fair Price. Thomsen Construction delivered on all three. Since I live out of State, I knew that timely communication would be critical to pulling together all of the details and decisions that had to be made. We highly recommend Thomsen. They have the right combination of responsiveness, competitive pricing and work quality. The first aspect is all Rocco. He says what he does and does what he says. If he says he is going to get quotes for work, he gets multiple quotes and shows how he got us the best deal. He doesn’t require reminders, he keeps us informed on delays, and he addresses work issues to the extent they exist. All the professionals we’ve worked with- masons, carpenters, painters, roofers- are talented and courteous. Our relationship with Thomsen is important because he treats our interaction as a relationship and that shows in our coming back each time we need something done.

I hired Thomsen Construction for two small jobs which were replacing three segments of a broken fence and fixing my deck. It was difficult to find a contractor to do these small jobs, but they dont ignore the small jobs. The work was top notch, the workers polite and professional and clean. We hired Thomsen Construction to repair some structural issues we had in our house. Carl arrived promptly when he said he would arrive and found that the necessary repair was simpler than expected when he provided a reasonable estimate. This not only saved him time in completing the job, but save us approximately 50% of the entire cost. We were very pleased with Thompsen Constructions quality of work and their value. We look forward to using them again!
