Considering its DSS and everyone complains I must admit I filled out an application online and received a quick phone call back next business day AM and the worker was Soooo friendly and just genuinely awesome!! We t out of her way to help my family and I. Was able to see us right away and had us in and out. Made process quick, easy and just genuinely a really sweet lady!! No complaints! Thank you!!

I know that they deal with a variety of people. However its hard enough to have to swallow your pride to go and get help, but when you get someone who really doesnt care makes it harder. On top of that I had supplied proof of my divorce 6yrs ago along with proof of only having one bank account and now only 1 car was told everything was fine. 6 months later found out they dropped my insurance because they said I owned to much and had to many bank accounts. When I told them I had already provided all of that info already when I was there last, I was basically told the girl never updated my info incorrectly and I would have to supply it all again. And now it says I own even more than before. And being that I am disabled and take care of my elderly mother I know will have to go to motor vehicles again and pay more money I do not have to get copies of paperwork to prove that I only have one vehicle. So there goes a whole day and the money I need for food. Then I had to go to peoples bank to get them to give me proof that I have not Accounts with them, and peoples were unwilling to write something that says that they have to research it. Which has already been over a month.Our system sucks. Nobody ever really wants to have to get help but I do need extra held with my medical stuff and I cant get it. Yes this is why I worked hard all my life so when I turned 51and my medical problems from breaking my neck and numerous other injuries that I received from a young kid who drank and drove would ruin my life, and not just by the original accident but the lasting effects of my body falling apart more and more everyday from the injuries I received to having to suffer more because I cant get the medical help that I desperately need.God Bless Our Country.

Long wait times. Doesnt answer phone ever. They make it impossible to disenroll when you no longer want or need their health insurance. Literally had to wait on hold 2 hours. Im not over exaggerate either. Wish I was. Rep even warned me it would take 2 hours of being on hold minimum. What type of logic is that?! But thats the only way to disenroll or go down to the office & sit there for 2 hrs. Except I no longer live in Connecticut, Im in NY. Honestly worse experience ever. Once youre in, youre locked in.

I understand they have a hard job to do dealing with so many people but have some that speaks spainsh and english at the main window

Long lines, only one window. Long wait times.

The average wait time is something like 2 to 3 hours to actually talk to someone if you walk in. They werent even able to help me that much. I ended up having to order my medication from Canada to survive.
