Ive been going here over 20 years, crazy how long its been when I really think about it. Ive been going to them since before they even had their own place. they were located in a salon. started with only two guys. anyway, best cut you can get in danbury, hands down. Highly recommend for anybody lookin for a fresh cut. and dont feel like you wont be welcomed here if your a first timer, you one hundred percent will be. Plus no need to single one barber out, there all trained to do the best cut youll ever have.

My first time in the shop, I saw Gus. He did an awesome job, Best cut I’ve had in 10+ years! He was kind, helpful, wanted to know what I wanted done and took care of me in expert fashion. All the guys in the shop are very laid-back and easy-going. And for what it’s worth, I am a guy in a wheelchair so for those of you who are wondering about accessibility issues, no problems! I will be getting all my future cuts here. Thanks Gus!

I went in for a haircut around 6:30 PM about 30 minutes before they were closing, I definitely needed one, Luigi did an excellent job and did not rush me at all even though the shop was closing very very soon. Elians always does an excellent job and I can’t recommend them enough!

I would consider Elian’s the best barbershop in the area! Great quality work, great prices, and you barely have to wait. I had been searching for a barbershop for a very long time for my son and I. The positive reviews helped me in my decision to try them out, and boy was I glad I did! We’ve been there a few times already and gotten cuts with Andy, Gus, Jesus and have not left disappointed with our haircuts. It was always a hit or miss in other places, but not with these guys! My wife was almost never satisfied with our son’s haircuts and now that we get our cuts at Elian’s, she has only positive things to say. Go check them out, you will be glad you did!

My favorite place to get a haircut, no one else even comes close. I searched for over a year for a spot like this and they are the bomb. Almost never have to wait since they have so many barbers on staff. They are all professional and good so it doesnt matter which guy cuts your hair. If you give good direction, theyll do an awesome job. I drive 35 min every 3 weeks to go here and its worth it.

Ill start by saying that I never leave reviews. May be my first one ever. But thats how good these guys are. Ive gotten my haircut there about 10 times, and every single time it has been great.This past time in particular is probably the best haircut Ive ever gotten. These guys take minimal direction and give you exactly what you ask for. They are perfectionists and Im talking about they worry about every piece of hair. They use a straight razor for the hairline and will shave you too. I dont even bother trying to get a particular barber because they are all very skilled. Probably had 5 different guys cut my hair and its always been consistent. I have normal white guy hair so I imagine they can cut many types of hair. Ive seen every ethnicity in there.All for an affordable price. This past time I got it short on the sides and left the top long. I also had him clean up my beard and shave me. He even touched up my eyebrows. As I said they are perfectionists, so the haircut took more than 30 minutes. The total was $23 so it is very cheap considering the work they put into it. Have to make sure you tip these guys well, they deserve it.Lastly, the atmosphere is great. Guys are always coming in and saying whats up to everyone. Its almost like a family atmosphere. Everyone there speaks Spanish. I dont but the language barrier has never been a problem. You can get by with like I said, minimal directions. If they need you to do something they will show you. I would never get my haircut anywhere else in Danbury.

I just got a haircut 8/19/16 from Jesus and it was pretty great. Im a female with Afro-textured hair and this is only my second barber cut (first one was 5 years ago in Staten Island). I needed a hair cut and had no idea where to go (I jokingly asked a barber near me in Brookfield to cut my hair once and he made a negative comment about not cutting womens hair so he was out of the question). After reading the reviews for Elians, I decided to give it a shot and it was well worth it. Jesus had me in a chair pretty much as soon as I walked in. The atmosphere was lively and I enjoyed it. Would definitely go back and recommend it. Thank you, Jesus!

The best barbershop in the area. Actual care is taken with your haircut (as opposed to the get em in, get em out obsession with fast turnover plaguing most barbershops). If you want a great cut where the barbers take pride in their work, visit a barbershop like this, where POC work there/own it.

Elians is good but I wouldnt go back. I grew out my hair for a long time because I wanted a particular haircut and the barber messed up my haircut. He cut it way shorter than I wanted on the top and not short enough on the sides. It looked good still, but I asked for something specific which he said he could do which wasnt the case. Im pretty particular with my haircuts, and Elians did not deliver for me.

These guys are the best. First barber shop I went to when I moved to Danbury 2 years ago and I have not had to try another. All barbers all well skilled and there is rarely a wait as they have multiple seats.

Normally get an amazing haircut here, but today just got an uneven and weird cut. One side long, other side super short. May be a while before I come back.

If anyone is considering going here, listen to me very carefully... dont. These guys dont listen and dont care about what youll look like afterwards. I was incredibly specific in what I wanted yet they ignored me and gave me a butchered crew cut. If you want your hair cut then youre better off doing it yourself; I promise you it cant be any worse than what they will do to you here and you wont waste any money doing it. Huge mistake.

Ive been taking my boys to Elians since my oldest was little because my husband was disappointed with the cuts he was getting at a salon for children in our town and told me to find some place where the people cutting the hair are the same color as our children (I am caucasion and my husband is West Indian so our boys are a beautiful brown). The guys at Elians are fantastic barbers and Ive seen people of every ethnicity/race getting great haircuts. We also sometimes get my a team name or number shaved into my sons hair for baseball- Carlos can do anything! The prices are great (better than the salon) and everyone is friendly and professional.
