We got a new pool installed end of last summer and have been very displeased with the concrete work/ ground work. We went with them because they had the best price which weve learned wasnt a good choice. The concrete slopes towards the pool instead of away and theyve came out and fixed one section of it. (With bags of quick concrete, that doesnt match the rest of the concrete) another section of the concrete holds its own little pool of water every time it rains. The ground water runs straight into the pool, causing the pool to turn green nearly every time it rains. They made another suggestion of digging a ditch around the decking and filling it with rock which we did (additional $1,200) and the pool still turns green when it rains. We can watch the dirt just run right into the pool every time it rains. We have to spend way more money on chemicals then you should ever have to, every time we have to get the pool back clear again. My husband was outside at midnight the other night vacuuming the mud out of the pool and adding more chemicals just hoping we could catch it in time to not fully turn green and take week or more to fix again. The company advised that its our guy that messed up the ground which is someone we hired to clear land that the pool company asked him to finish the grade around the pool. That should have been the pool company responsibility and included in their price not handed off to someone that was hired separately by us to do a completely different job. They advised they would fix all concrete if the ditch didnt stop the problem but weve called and left messages and havent heard back.

Backyard Adventures is the only pool company in town that would touch this swamp we had. They were prompt, friendly, affordable and courteous. They even helped get that last bit of smelly water from the bottom of our freshly drained pool so I didnt have to get in the smelly green water. I will definitely choose them for my pool needs from here on out!

We used Backyard for our new pool construction and we have no complaints. The staff is very knowledgeable and they’re willing to answer any questions you may have or address any concerns. This is a great company, they do quality work and they’re loyal to their customers.

We had a very good experience with David at Backyard Adventures. He came when he said he would and they did a great job! Im very happy with our pool and wouldnt hesitate to recommend. Matter of fact, I did recommend to another family and they are just as happy!

We didnt know who worked there. Two people were sitting down, I had to ask them if they worked there. The guy sitting down was very short with us and didnt want to help us. We walked out and hoping the pool place on Walnut is more welcoming than here.

I love all the wonderful folks at Backyard Adventures. We purchased a new home last fall. David and the guys oversaw the entire redoing on the 20x40 in ground pool. Other local pool places tried to convince me everything would need to be replaced. David knew right away what we needed and it was half the price! The pool looks amazing and I wouldnt change anything about the process. His wife is very smart about all things pool and will help you every step of the way. She has my pool so clean and easy to maintain. If anyone wants a pool this is the place to go.

They did not have the correct hose for my system, but only took 10 minutes to make one and it worked great! nice folks and my supplier for ever.

I went in to try to find this special float and I fortunately they didnt have it but the service was amazing and they wanted to order it for us are they went out of their way I wanted it right then and there I did want to be shipped to the house or anything but again what great service.

Used them for pool cleaners went in there needing pool cleaning supplies for my pool had no idea what I needed ...the woman there is probably the rudest person I ever met at a business very short answers when asked questions, nasty looks, not a person you would wanna be greeted as the first person you see at a business...will definitely be using another company from now on ...

They came on time did a good job

We are building a house and we went to check out what kinds of pools they had available. The woman working was EXTREMELY rude. She gave us a brochure on rectangle pools and we asked about round pools and she said that they get expensive and acted as if we couldnt afford them. Then she gave us a magazine on other pools and we asked if they were fiberglass and her response was, God, I hope not because we dont do those. She was very rude and short with her answers to us. We will definitely take our business elsewhere!
