Please reconsider if you are thinking of using Champion. They were recommended to me from a friend of a friend to gut our house, including a new kitchen, three bathrooms, floors, ceilings, etc. There were many problems over the 6 months of renovations. I dont mean the not showing up and giving unrealistic completion times. Thats expected in this industry and they filled that stereotype perfectly.I mean that I ended up being the GC, the painter that peed on my house, the three separate drywall contractors, one disappearing, one ruining our new floors (wait why did the floors go in before the ceiling was finished you may be thinking), the painter ruining a brand new Nest thermostat, 6 months and the ceiling is falling down, every contractor or vendor they recommended let us down in a big way and they claim responsibility for NONE of it.Its one thing to have issues and own it, even if you dont fix it, but they deny it.If youve read this far, you are seriously considering Champion. For internet validity, I do think its important to say I dont give bad reviews which can be confirmed. You have to be so bad Id take 15 minutes out of my day to warn others. Why the two stars? There are two contractors they have, Andy and Yanni, and they are the sole reason our Christmas wasnt ruined and we are living in the house.100% customer satisfaction, not if their contactors mess up so badly that it costs them too much. Then they bail on you.If I treated people like they do, Id be ashamed of myself. Unfortunately Champion renovations and design dont operate on that level of decency and ethics. Please see photos of just a few examples of a 2 star job
Stacy and her team redid our master bath and really did a fantastic job. Stacy herself was attentive and thorough and kept us in the loop on what was going on throughout the entire project with weekly and sometimes daily updates. Her subs were all great (shout out to Andy, he was the man!) and we couldnt be happier with the finished bathroom. Well definitely choose CDR for any future projects!
Champion Design & Renovations was recommended to me by a structural engineer. The basement in our home had been finished by the builder but we wanted to open a wall and install a kitchen for an in-law suite. We required a state licensed contractor so the work would be permitted by Cobb County. Sounds simple but was a bigger job than I had imaged. It was great to have a contractor who was knowledgeable and could arrange for electricians, plumbers, painters and county inspectors. The finished project surpassed our expectations. I have been a Realtor for over 30 years and have worked with many contractors so I appreciated the professional way Stacy and Brian handled our project. I will continue to recommend them.
Champion Design was wonderful to work with! We just completed a kitchen renovation. I had in mind what I wanted to do and Stacy Champion made my dream a reality. She listened to my ideas and gave suggestions that were just what I needed to get the kitchen the way I wanted it. Stacey had my needs in mind when planning for the schedule of the project so that I would not be without appliances for the least amount of time. She was present and in touch with me each time I had a contractor working at my home. From the beginning to the end of our project we were done in just a little more than a month. That is outstanding! The people that she had come into my home were courteous and true craftsmen. Hector was super with drywall, Uelliton worked some magic with my flooring, Andy was just awesome at everything (tiling and spackle work in particular) and Freddie finished it out with painting that was on point! I am so pleased with my new kitchen and I will definitely be working with them on my future renovation needs. You will not be disappointed when you work with Champion!
CD completed a basement for us 11 months ago and we’re completely satisfied with the work and the level of professional service they provided along with the members of their team. Brian and Stacy were easy to work with, helpful in giving input to our design ideas, and worked within our budget. I appreciate their attention to detail and them keeping us informed throughout the entire process. They were available for our ongoing questions, stayed on top of the service providers, and helped us create a space we love without exceeding our budget. I’d strongly recommend them if you are considering finishing a space.
I just recently had my basement completed by CD&R and to say im 100% completely happy with the final result is an understatement. The level of communication, professionalism, and attention to detail was outstanding. Stacy would call or text me at least 3-4 times a week to keep me updated on subcontractor progress and what to expect before the start of any phase. Because of my history of working in construction, Im not the easiest to satisfy but If I didnt like something or wanted to do something different, she was extremely flexible with alternative solutions that were within my budget and wouldnt delay the project. All unexpected issues were handled immediately and with the pretense of what would she want done if it was her house. If i presented questions that she didnt know the answer to, she didnt make up something on the spot (unlike several other contractors) but she consulted her trade experts and got the right answers to my questions. I would highly recommend Stacy and Champion Design to handle any remodeling/renovation project. I will definitely use them again in the future.ps--pics of completed project will be added to this review.
Brian and his team were recommended by Fidelity Bank to assist us with our home renovation. I found him and his staff to be attentive throughout the process and the work was first rate. I would use him and his staff again.
Excellent company to work with. Job completed on time, on budget. I highly recommend giving them a call.
Had a tree fall on our house this past March We called Champion Design and they were out at our house immediately and had my roof emergency handled that afternoon and prevented even more damage. They are very nice people and they do quality work and I would definitely recommend them.
Stacy was very attentive to our needs and the project came in on budget! Great company to work with, couldn’t ask for more.
I would not recommend this business to anyone. The professionalism and decorum they displayed to a potential (now lost) client was low-class and juvenile. Take your money elsewhere and steer clear of this company.Formerly Champion Building Services. Just google that name and see all the complaints against Brian Champion. Awful. Now Im REALLY not surprised that he spoke to me the way he did! AWFUL PERSON.
MOVE ON TO THE NEXT CONTRACTOR, any changes that will lower his profits he will say that he is no longer interested in working with you. NO RECOMMENDED! This is one of the contractors that Fidelity Bank gave me to choose from to make repairs on my house. Brian Champion, the owner seemed very friendly and attentive at the beginning. His wife Angela Champion was also very attentive and provided me with the information I needed in an efficient way. After I did my research I asked them some information about their methods and told them to take some of the overpriced items off the quote (still making the project $12,000) they told me that they did not want to work with me. I guess Brian wants to make as much profit as possible and he told me that he would not be working with me after that. I dont know if Brian was intimidated by me getting what I want and not receiving what is offered, or if he is simply looking to make as much money as possible and if someone seems that they are not willing to be taken advantage he prefers to walk away. NO RECOMMENDED
