I had an appointment with Stephanie at 11:00 am and she never showed. It was very unprofessional. I drove 30 minute from Plano to the barber shop, waiting almost 30 minutes there for her until I was finally able to obtain her number from one of the other barbers and still had to drive 30 minutes back home. I was looking forward to having my hair braided and even purchased my own hair that she was well aware of. Her work is obviously awesome from pictures I’ve seen, but professionalism is key and I will not be returning back here. Nobody helped me when I walked into the shop except the first guy on the right side. He asked who I was here for, I told him Stephanie. He said “oh cool she’ll be here soon”, nothing but time passed and he finally asked what time my appointment was. Stephanie was already 20 minutes late at that point. He texted her and I saw on his messages that she was asking if I could wait until 12:30. Um no? I’ve already waited 30 minutes, and now she’s asking him to see if her own client can wait another hour for her? No. I got her number from the other barber and she finally responded saying her brother was in a car wreck and she was out of town and she forgot to communicate with me. Honestly, if she was out of town idk why she would ask the other barber to try and convince me to wait another hour. Anyways I requested my 20$ deposit back from her. She returned it. I feel just like how clients have to pay late cancellation fees, she should of had to pay a cancellation fee to me for having me waste time and gas. Anyways, if you want your hair braided she does nice work but is unprofessional and will be a hit or miss with scheduling you.

We wanted to find the best barbershop in Oakliff. Here we go. It is a nice little barbershop in the heart of Oakliff at Jefferson. The staff is friendly and qualified. They make a nice cut so fast. The good work is included in the good price. Thank you for the awesome experience. God bless you 😇

Great experience. Very friendly staff and they do great haircuts. Barber Marian did haircut and beard trim for my husband and it was great. She was patient enough to listen to us in detail n she really was making sure that we were satisfied. Im really happy with her work. Will definitely go again. 👍 And yeah, we asked some detail questions abt having trouble with thinning hair and unhealthy scalp, so she gave us some valuable tips aswell.

This spot is right at the heart and soul of Oak Cliff right in the middle of Jefferson .. the parking in front of this location is terrible just park in the back parking lot.. they got a handful of Barbers that know how to do their job and theres a few that barely pass for being Barbers.. look for Jack hes in the middle of the shop hes the greatest Barber ever in my opinion hes the young guy with a big beard you cant miss him .

The barber that cut my hair asked me “so we done?” Horrible experience all I asked for was fade. Didn’t even sanitized the clippers now that I remember. Never going back there again

Great old fashioned barber shop. What they lack in ambience they make up with friendship and welcoming laughter. Straight razor shaves, hot towels and just great haircuts. They do any type of cut you like. I’ve been a customer for years. These folks are in the business of friendships and building relationships. Try them out.

$30 for haircut but theyre the best. Theyll do hair and facial hair. Great customer service and they take their time to do the job with care. For some reason its cheaper for walk in vs appointment though.

Over priced! I am used to going to high end shops for exceptional service and experience. This place has talent, a great location, and convenient hours. However, a $10 increase does not suit this barbershop in its rundown condition. This barbershop is trying to demand more than Floyds or Brass Tacks. On top of that they are charging $10 extra for making an appointment. They do not even have anyone handling appointments at all! So I am confused as to why they need to charge. I contact my barber directly via cellphone when I need a cut and pay him directly through his own Square card reader. This means the barber has to handle all of the transaction fees and is basically a free agent. This place needs to make some major changes before they try to demand what other places charge. A remodel would go a long way!

My son’s barber is Ariana, and she does a really awesome job with his hair! She takes her time to make sure it looks flawless each time we see her! I’m glad I finally found someone who I can trust with my son’s hair and who is really sweet! I won’t be taking my son anywhere else but here at Bishop Barbers!😃😃😃

This was my first visit to this establishment. I just moved to Dallas 2 Weeks ago as an Army Recruiter and finding a new barber to continue your look is a challenge. I walked in and was greeted my Mark (owner) super nice, down to earth and friendly. Left with an amazing haircut. Ill definitely be a long term customer.

Jack is the bomb! I discovered this guy in a barbershop in Richardson about 2 yrs ago and when he moved to bishop barbers I tried another barber (who charged twice as much)to avoid the long drive but it wasnt even half as good... This guy is an artist and a perfectionist. He will not let you down.

I thought about leaving a review for a few weeks just due to the fact that the kid that cut my hair was so nice, but then I kept on thinking about all the other possible fades that he would do with massive lines in someones hair like mine .Literally had to go get somebody else to cut my hair to blend it properly . Everyone else that cuts hair might be good but avoid the young kid.

Ok so this place should have a historical marker becouse its been here forever . But the new owner Marcus has done outstanding job getting this place back to life and seriously i belive Marcus is one of the best barbers in town. you will not regret walking in this place. My personal barber is Olga very nice lady and knows her skills . Hands down an experience that will make you a life long customer.
