The reason Im giving five stars is solely because of the receptionist in the front I believe her name was Angeliqua. From the moment I set foot in that place she gave me her undivided attention even after I told her about my hearing age she began to speak very clearly and proceeded to answer my questions and show me what to do is just her whole mannerism with more than the customer service experience she showed that she really care and thats a good feeling when you go into an unknown place. Some of us dont have jobs and it was nice to meet someone that was friendly and helpful. She explained everything that was on the system and what I needed to do to solve my problems and allowed me to use the phone which I thought was great as I was leaving she was assisting someone else and I was watching her just acting really really attentative to that person as well. It just made me have a good experience there.😁

If I could give 0 stars I would.I had two job opportunities and their computers were down I asked nicely the computer person if they if I could forward from my phone the emails to someone there so they can print out the docs that I needed to submit she declined I went to the receptionist asked her the same thing if she could help she declined. It is impossible to land a job if the people that are there to help you refuse to help. I had to call the manager which he was the nicest -he actually let me sit in his office at his personal desk and space allowing me to print off my documents so I can submit them. Once I fill them out I went back to the receptionist and ask her to scan the documents for me she Ignored my request didn’t make any eye contact and looked at the net person sitting next to her and asked him to help me because she would not. Mr. Patel was very nice and helped me scan the documents in and get them to my personal email. If you are not willing to help people you do not need to be working in a position that is solely to help people this should be addressed immediately!!!

It says they are open at 8am but the security guard at the door told me they open at 10. I drove all the way over here for nothing. They wont answer their phone either. 🙄

The intent is good, but like any government agency, complacency and lack of training make it difficult to deal with. Staff has a police state mentality and does not treat the people coming for help very nicely. They cannot think outside the box (a prerequisite for state employees), do not listen and are inflexible. Some of the resources and events they promote are not relevant and do not provide results. You can waste a lot of time trying to get the right help, but you end up going out on your own for success. The entire agency needs an upgrade to meet the needs of current job seekers in the present job market.

This place has good equipment & is run by a good management. But the staff is terrible. When the managers are away the staff could care less. They dont help & when you ask for help from them, they act like youre speaking a different language.

Nice and roomy and gets the job done for the work that do in my job searches. 3 stars because it would be nice to be able to talk to career coaches and counselors. They have put all the work on the job hunter and it is ridiculously tedious.

Ive had my share of problems with this office. The last time I was there, they were not helpful and seem to be short with people.

Very helpfully place. Lot of job fairs. Not very felon friendly but there is assistance for you if you inquire with a background

Really helpful staff. They should consider teaching an etiquette class to some of the clientele that behave like animals.

These people really want to help you find a new career. Mrs Joyce really cares about you and helping you out. Just follow the rules and do everything they tell you.

Been going here for years love all the staff been known most of them since they were in Richardson Texas great people they will help with what ever it us you need never gotten any attitudes from any of the staff my favorite person is Dominik hes great👍💯

I called this morning, and the man who answered my call was rude and condescending. Good thing this was over the phone I would not have tolerated his hateful spirit in person.

Love the Preston Texas Workforce I have always had professional people who actually help you. Ive been to several of the workforce locations and this is the only one that actually does there jobs the other ones would say Im too busy or thats not my job hello it is your job and youre paid to do your job so my point is theyre the best.

The people at the front desk are a bit ride. But there are some nice people that work there. Went for an UE orientation class.

This building is wonderful in so many ways in building ur life, and career to succeed. They also give job fair classes, and suck.

OMG these women are so mean. There is a woman with this little bush on top her head that is rude as all hell. I hate this place. They lack compassion for the unemployed and need to rotate these people out. They forgot what it is like to unemployed, both of them biotches...the white one and the black one. If you can avoid the one on Aplha Rd, do so...These are not nice people

I was shocked someone answered the phone the one in Garland never does! I wish when they having job fair they would put the time in the email and what position an id# doesnt tell what the job is are the hiring amount. .

Just go to the one in Irving. Even if u live next door dont bother with these people. They try to steer you away from government funded programs because they dont want to do what they are paid for.
