I live in a 1930 Tudor revival home in Cuyahoga Falls. The front door mortise lock hasnt worked since 1988 (or earlier). Two years ago, I had another locksmith tell me that there was nothing to be done. The entire unit needed to be replaced. Because it is original to the house, I opted to keep it even though it didnt lock. Last week I decided to give it one last try before replacing the entire unit. Steve took the time to disassemble the mortise, fix the damaged mechanism and find the almost non-existent parts. I was able to keep the original hardware to the house and now, even have a key to unlock the door from the outside. I highly recommend DolenOre Key!
