Mike was great! He helped/fixed us our washer machine today. He told me exactly what was wrong and what was needed. He showed me why it just stopped working. Did a few test runs and it started working again. He was here on time, had a great attitude, and gave me a few extra tips for my washer in the future. Thanks again Mike! 😊

Tim and Drew were great! Drew was helpful in diagnosing the initial problem. Tim came out for the actual repairs had to problem solve a few issues that came up during the repairs. Its really hard to rate them at all. I called them on Friday, over a week ago, at 3:55pm, they close at 5pm . I left a detailedmessage about my microwave problem, my name and phone number, which I repeated twice.I was expecting a response on the next business day. Now over a week later, no response. I didnt feel it was my obligation to call again. The obligation is upon them to respond in a timely manner. Now it is over a week later. Not good business practice.Enough said.By the way, the microwave has been repaired by another business in a prompt manner.

If I could give a negative star I would. **PLEASE TAKE TIME TO READ** I have never been so disrespected in my life by a company. They came to fix my refrigerator and the tech could not do a full diagnostic because his boss told him he has 8 other jobs so finish where you are now. With that the fridge broke again within days. We called to have someone come again to fix it, and told us we need a part replaced that will take 3 weeks to come in. It came in, and then we were canceled on twice for the appointments for them to fix it. They were not apologetic or empathetic at all when canceling, and did not care that I had to throw away $300 of food twice. When I told them I am 8 months pregnant and need some compensation for the cancelations, I was told Maam I cant control what happens in this world this is how things are. Needless to say is been almost 2 months and I still have no fridge

Mike and Tim did a great job. Mike came out the first time and did not have the part needed. Immediately ordered the replacement and was rescheduled a week later. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Disgusting behavior from the owner of the company. LG set it up for them to come replace our refrigerator compressor. The owner chose only to repair the the compressor not change it out like it was suppose to. The worker left making the fridge worse than when he came. The freezer no longer hold freezing temperature looking all food in freezer. When company was notified, the owner then refuses to come out and fix the freezer and says for us to figure it out. Reviews on their website are only the ones they choose to put on.

We bought new appliances only to find out the ice maker was leaking. They came out and determined that there was a hairline crack in the unit itself. We were still able to use it while they ordered a new one. Once they got it in, it took all of 15 minutes to install. Very professional and skilled. I called today about an issue with our dryer and I got lucky as they had a cancellation in my area. Tim showed up and determined the issue quickly. What impressed me the most is that he came with a bunch of replacement parts he thought he might need, and low and behold, he was right. So he was able to get my dryer torn apart, repaired and put back together all in one visit. THIS is what good customer service looks like! This place is my go-to for any appliance repair I may need in the future.

Horrible customer service!Did not repair washer even after speaking to us about the problem.Tech said he didnt have time to sit through 2 cycles to watch it happen.We were having a problem on hot water versus cold water. He ran the washer on cold only, said no problem, and left!They are not willing to come back out without charging us for a service call.I would never use them again after this experience

Came to my house for Lowes warranty work. He told me he thinks its the transmission going bad. Told me hes going to put a order in see if they replace it. Comes to find out he didnt put a order in that he wrote and said everything was fine on th with it a washer for two months nowe work order that he wrote to Lowes. The washer broke the very next day, needless to say Ive been without a washer for two months. What Im guess Im trying to say is they lie to your face I wouldnt trust him.

I would strongly advise you NOT to use ProTech Repair, unless you dont mind waiting over TWO months for a basic parts repair with zero contact or effort made to update. Then, when you do call for an update the receptionist is beyond rude, dismissive and clearly has no care for your project. Our home warranty company directed us here and I was thankfully able to get them to switch to a different company for our newest appliance woe.

This business is an absolute nightmare to deal with. GE appliance assigned them to repair my dryer. After 5 days of not hearing from them I called to find out when they were going to be coming. I was told they couldnt schedule me without a proof of purchase, and if they had that they could schedule me for Tuesday of the following week (6 days later). I sent them text message with a picture of the receipt as requested one minute later. Tuesday came and I hadnt heard from them so my wife called them and was told they hadnt received the receipt until Monday. So now they scheduled us for Friday from 12 to 5. Friday came and the tech showed up at 4:55 pm was there 10 minutes and determined we needed a part they didnt have. Both my wife and I made an attempt to call them on Monday and neither of us was able to get someone because their automated phone system wasnt working. Thursday my wife called to find out what was going on and they put her on hold. While she was on hold they called me and scheduled the technician for Monday from 2 to 6. This was the first phone call I had from them. They got back on the phone with her and told her they had already spoke to me and set the appointment. The technician made it to my house at 6:45 (they did call at 2:45 to tell me he would be late) and had my dryer running in 20 minutes. The technicians that came out were both professional and courteous and I cant help but feel bad for them because it must be exhausting to work for the management there. I waited 23 days for what amounted to 30 minutes worth of work on my dryer.

I find their intentions questionable. They were a vendor for my home warranty company; sent to repair my dryer.They came and repaired it with one minor detail, it wasnt repaired. They told my warranty company that it was irreparable_ because the part needed was discontinued. However, they told me, if I paid a nominal fee (personally, a part from my warranty company) they could send someone to repair it. Really!?!

I wish I could give them 0 stars!!! Absolutely incompetent workers!! This guy came out 2 times to repair my stove since my burner is not working like it should. He did 2 things they he thought would fix the issue and it did not in the least. It somewhat was working when he left but not consistent. He said he would order a control panel to replace the system. I waiting over a week and never heard back from anyone. I call this morning and they say the claim is closed and it’s all fixed. Yeah totally, all fixed when I can put my hand on the burner at level 5!!!!?!? This guys just didn’t want to do anymore work on my stove and closed the ticket. Absolutely ridiculous! I try to call back and talk to a manager, he won’t even talk to me, just tells the receptionist to have me call LG customer service.Lazy workers and customer service. DO NOT go with this company unless you want headaches and to not have anything working properly!

They have not yet fixed our appliance. Came out last Tuesday, quoted us an 800.00 compressor replacement. Said they would contact us to set an appointment when they received the part. They called yesterday gave us an appointment for 11/23...so, have the part, but 2more weeks until they can come out and out and put it in, in the meantime we are without our fridge for a month. Guess they think they have our 90 bucks for the initial visit and we wont go anywhere else, so the hell with providing prompt service. If I can get someone before then, it will be a 90 buck mistake, but I will have a fridge. Would certainly not call this place again. Tech told my other half they were short on technicians, if thats the case, they should not take the job...crazy

They fixed my defective Radio Shack mixer, although they requoted a higher price after getting into it. Wasnt unreasonable, though.

We were having issues with our Samsung oven, which was only a year old and mere weeks past the manufacturers warranty. We were scheduled a service call through our extended warranty that we purchased with the oven at Lowe’s, and when speaking with Lowe’s we were given a service date that was approx 3 weeks away from the date we called. About a week later we recieved a phone call from Protec and within a couple days they were at our home to fix our oven, about two weeks ahead of schedule from when it was scheduled with Lowe’s. We received a service representative named Leon, and while I could go on and on about him I will keep it short.... polite, professional, chatty, knowledgeable, courteous, quick and helpful. He had our oven fixed within a half hour and was kind enough to give us insight into our other appliances and how to maximize their performance and longevity. When he walked away after completing his work he left us with a smile on our faces and a feeling that we were glad it was him that fixed our issue. To the protec management: he is an asset to your company and the 5 stars that I gave this review were predominately because of him. Thanks for everything, we now know who to call if and when these expensive new appliances Peter out on us way before their time.

Do not use this company. They are incompetent and unprofessional. We had them out for a warranty claim on our dishwasher. The first tech they sent, Tim, was great however every other person at the company was completely unprofessional and had no idea what they were doing. They sent a senior technician, Mike who told me they couldnt fix the dishwasher. When I asked if they would be putting the recommendation in for replacement, his reply was We dont make money on replacements. Theres always more parts we can order. This was despite the fact that he admitted it wouldnt fix the problem. When I called their office, Jason, was completely immature and told me I know how this warranty stuff works, just try me man I was amazed by the level of arrogance and incompetence. He has no business managing.We had the service request switched to another provider and they immediately diagnosed the problem correctly and the warranty company replaced the dishwasher.

WORST customer service EVER! Total incompetence!!!! I originally called to have my dishwasher at my new home repaired through the warranty i was sold. After placing my initial call for service, i was told someone would call me to schedule an appointment fo come out. after about a week, i called to follow up since i had not heard from anyone and was told no order had been placed although they could see where i called to set it up. i was given an appointment for a week later at a time range of 11-2. after waiting all day and no one showed, i called and was told my appointment wasnt until the next monday. when asked to speak to the manager, low and behold i get a man who was rude, interrupting and refused to give me his name. i asked repeatedly if by chance his name was Jason, the GM (as seen in other reviews) and he again refused to answer and hung up on me. this is the worst customer service ever!

Kid was not able to help at all. Very unprofessional. Smelled like marijuana and was slurring his words. This business needs to get better employees that actually know what they’re doing. Would not recommend to anyone.

This was my 4th service call on my Samsung refrigerator in 3 months. There was water leaking into the vegetable bins and each time they came and repaired it the problem reoccured. The Pro Tech technician correctly diagnosed the problem and finally repaired it. He was great!

STAY AWAY from them! Absolutely the worst! Ridiculously Incompetent technician and greedy company. Even for very small problems which you can solve by yourself in 15 mins, would take them several service visits and cost you several hundred dollars!

We have used in past thru Samsung and always got it fixed, issue this time is, at first was so hard to get ahold of anyone and was on hold for 20 minutes and then once I got a hold of the front girl she hung up by mistake or just not caring. So another call, 10 minutes later I talked to someone, this person got it fixed and scheduled. 12 to 5 will call with advanced notice. well day of I get a call at 2:17pm saying he is headed my way, I informed him wife was 20 away should arrive at same time and he said that would not work, we then called shop and held again but got him back out to house and he said he found nothing wrong and he left, now i have to call Samsung back and go thru this all again. and Jason said your wife should have spoke up, and was very aggressive about, when i asked for a owner he told me no and hung up

I was assigned Protec by my home warranty company for a washing machine repair. The technician, Joel, was professional. I paid $100 deductible as per my warranty company contract. Joel said A part needed to be ordered and a repair would be made within 7-10 days. I have called, left voicemail, sent a request for call back on their website for a status update. The management is unresponsive to providing me with this information. Apparently, they are overwhelmedor do not care about customer service or customer feedback. I’m still waiting for some type of update. I was contacted by Protec within hours of this review being posted. A technician was scheduled 4 days later with a 4 hour service window (2pm-6pm). The tech, Tim, was professional and an expert in appliance repair and the washing machine was repaired very quickly.I stand by my original comment that Protecs management is generally non-communicative or defensive with their customers. The manager responded to my post by saying that customer calls have recently been excessive. I would think he should address that aspect of customer service. Communication is key to a success relationship with customers. After getting the run around with Samsung and the first horrible company they assigned to fix my microwave, this company was like a breath of fresh air. They knew exactly what they were doing and fixed it in only about twenty minutes. The first company was making a huge deal about having to dismount my over the range microwave. This company knew that wasn’t even necessary. It’s nice to have someone who knows what they are doing. My mother says the repair man Tim was polite and professional. He obviously knew what he was doing!

Pushing three weeks later when I have made several phone calls and left several messages to not hear back anything, I had to call lowes again to see what was up. Now they cant get back out until darn near the end of the month and Lowes had to coordinate everything because they dont respond.
