We visited the UPS store almost a few minutes before the close of business to ship couple of packages. We were sending such packages for the first time with UPS and the associate, Ms. Erica Steen and her colleague, Ms. Shahnaaz Kaur were extremely helpful in guiding us through the process with cheerful attitude. We are thankful to them for providing an efficient service and pleasant experience. Keep up the good work.Will definitely look forward to visiting this location again for our shipping needs.

Very rude service. I had to return a package for a service company and used their return box but did not close the lid thinking UPS may want to make sure the items are there. The lady at the store lectured me for not taping and all she had to do was run the tape gun once over the package. They are a service shop and should help their customers instead of lecturing them. At FedEx and USPS they are glad to help out. I will never step foot again in this lousy store.

I had to drop off 2 Amazon packages for return here- one of them had the option to take the item as is without packing, the other one had to be packed before and a label printed and attached. Due to COVID, I didnt have an easy access to a printer so I thought Ill just take it to the store and they might help in printing out a label for this to return to Amazon. There was a young lady who just refused to print the label and said it would cost $2 to print it! The same item had an option to do a UPS pickup for free which seemed more work for UPS than just printing a label and sticking it on the already packed box. Guess the reviews of this store are accurate, the staff is not helpful.

Based on my experience up to 2 years ago, Im not surprised by the (low) 2 star average rating. My biggest problem stemmed from their refusal to give receipts for my shipments. For that reason, I had stopped coming here because there were 3 other ups stores close by that never argued about handing out receipts.2 weeks ago, i wanted to ship a package and this was the only store opened at 9:00 (all others opened at 10:00). Bracing myself for having to plead or beg for my receipt, I was surprised because the employee offered me a receipt with a smile. When I told her I had to fight for my receipts in the past, she told me they now had a new owner. So, if you have avoided going to this store like I did, give it another try.By the way, I went back a 2nd time this week. Again, it was a very pleasant experience and there was no hassle at all.

I’ve had a UPS mailbox here for a few years. Management has changed in 2019 and it’s a great group of people trying to make this place great. I’ve always had a great experience with all the services I’ve needed. The place has drastically changed. It’s clean, quick, great customer service.

Do not sign up for a mailbox rental here!To start they advertise their mailbox rentals as being a “regular street address” not a P.O.Box address. It’s False advertisement. The US Postal Service, banking institutions and other institutions do NOT recognize them as a “regular street address.”I rented a box there for $65 a month. What a rip off!I had many issues with the postal service not wanting to forward my mail there. Then when I needed my mail forwarded to my new address the US Postal Service sent me a letter stating that the UPS Store was solely responsible for forwarding my mail for 6 months.They would not forward my mail unless I paid them $25 a month. They were very rude when I comforted them with the letter from the US Postal Service. They said it would cost them too much money to forward my mail! Well I think $65 a month for a box should cover it!When I asked the owner to show me in the contract where it states they they would charge me $25 a month to forward my mail she couldn’t find anything.Who knows where my mail is going now! They are probably throwing it away. It’s terrible to have untrustworthy businesses like this.

Very happy with this UPS Store! I shipped a package to one of my techs in California (from Delaware). The FedEx store where I sent my tech to pick it up REFUSED the package because it was sent via UPS! We communicated with this store and the lady was very helpful. She even called the driver to ensure the package get to the right place! This is where I will be sending all my packages now! Thanks for all of your help!

Very unfriendly staff unless you are giving them a lot of money that they do not deserve. Should go to other UPS stores instead. The one at the intersection of Lawrence Expressway and Stevens Creek provides excellent service. The one on Prospect and Lawrence Expressway is very good too, and they open at 8am. So, to support good customer service, one should avoid this UPS store.

The staff member I met here was extremely friendly. She helped me repack a box in a way that saved me over $80 worth of shipping costs, and gave me her own personal discount on top of that — all of this when I came in only 15 minutes before they closed for the day. Other customers came in with attitudes, asking for unreasonable things (demanding immediate service when the staff was clearly busy helping others), which probably explains the other poor ratings you may see left on this listing. Take the one- and two-star reviews as ratings of those people themselves, and not of this store. I only experienced good things here today, and will come back again in the future when I need something shipped.

One employee (around age 40 to 50 and her race is Indian) who works there is extremely rude and unprofessional. She once rejected my return because I did not tape my item. This is a mailing service, and you refuse your customer tape to secure their package? Another employee on the other hand greeted me and took care of me very well by providing tape.Also, I have dropped off multiple items here for the purpose of Amazon return and many items have gone missing after I contacted Amazon. I suspect the forementioned employee is not only rude but also has been stealing packages.

Make sure you know what you are signing up for! I opened a PO Box to help in relocating to the area. When I tried to submit a change of address form with the USPS, I learned that you cannot use a change-of-address OUT of this service, so I decided not to use this box. I had paid for the first 6 months in advance. After the first 6 months, I tried to close the box since I couldnt use it, but was told I had to pay the remaining balance (another $300). So I paid, and I waited for the year to end, and then forgot... I received an email from the owner months after the year ended saying I was late. I went back and turned in my key, and paid another $200. So, in total I paid $800 for a box I never used. The owner knew my issues, but preferred taking my money over providing a good customer experience.

Whenever I drop off a package they always refuse to provide a receipt. Sometimes I have a package that is really important, they still ask me to leave the package on the counter instead of taking care of it right away and providing a receipt. Fedex will give you a receipt even if you dont ask for it. Also this UPS store charges a lot more for delivery.

Great management. I have had a mailbox here for about 6 years now. I never even take my mailbox key; they see me and bring my mail to me as soon as I enter the door. Very friendly service. That is the reason I am still with them :) Thanks guys!

Not the Store you go for mail service !Paid $150 on Feb 3 to send a 10x10x10 box via Express Mail to China, containing N95 masks. Took 7 days to arrive SFO airport on Feb 10. When phoned the store and asked, I was told Do not know, you have to contact US post office ; when asked which postoffice they gave my parcel to ship, Do not know .... update - it arrived on Feb 21 2020.

I thought perhaps the other reviews were isolated instances so I gave this location a try...1. Dropped off an Amazon return package-They were quick and helpful.2. Asked if I could mail 2 keys to a local area-They responded that it was going to be $7 or $8 WITHOUT tracking...I was so shocked I just stood there trying to figure out if I was hearing correctly.Absolutely ridiculous, I assume they simply prey off of people who are desperate and have no other options.

If I could rate them with ZERO stars I would. This place is really expensive!! They charged me 9 dollars for 4 envelopes (The cheapest orange ones). The woman that was helping me was really rude and did not allow me to send an envelope with stamps on it inside another envelope (as required by the process I needed to complete) because they would not know how heavy the envelope they were going to send me after was going to be (You have to be kidding me, is just a letter, just 1 single piece of paper!) she wanted me to use their sticker with tracking number so she can charge me $64... just ridiculous! They also tried to charge me 89 dollars just to send a letter from CA to NY with tracking number! What?! that is insane! I have used UPS in other cities, and it is more expensive normally, but this one is the worst. DONT GO THERE!!

I will never come back for this store. I spent more than $25 to ship two files to a place which was within one hour drive from the store, and I chose the NEXT DAY AIR. However, I checked online, it was still not shipped yet after 4 days. Even if I choose the slowest way, it would have arrived. One good thing was they agreed to give me refund.

Slow service, rude employees, and they hassle you if you ask for a receipt. Probably trying to steal your stuff; ALWAYS GET A RECEIPT FROM THESE PEOPLE FOR YOUR AMAZON DROP OFF.Better yet, go to the UPS on De Anza; much better service.

Not sure what the source of all the other negative comments is, so I will not judge them. Instead, i can only share my own experience, which has always been positive. We go in there when we are in a hurry, and when the post office is closed (theyre always there until well after 6pm). Overnight to Socal has always seemed reasonably priced.

Old indian lady always charge $3.50 just for printing label. If you print something she will say you “$3.50 for using computer”. Anybody explain her that just print 1 sheet and use computer is different things. In FedEx it cost just cents. Very, very slow and unprofessional service.

Countless disappointments from UPS. This time the posted store hours on UPS store websites are incorrect. Went to 3 separate stores in Cupertino and Sunnyvale... it’s 9am and nobody to be seen, even though the website says open. I don’t understand why businesses use UPS over FedEx. Every time I’m forced to deal with UPS (package delivery or returns) UPS always finds a way to disappoint. They just can’t seem to get it right.

Update:This place changed their owner and I had great experience with themI went there to print out 2 pieces of A4 paper, they dont take USBs and asked me to send my document to there email address. Then they charged me with the computer borrowing fee. So I paid for almost 7 dollars for 2 pieces of paper.

The lady screwed up a signature so my house cant close and when I came back they want to charge me again for it. Use them if you want your notary document for screw up. They said they have over 18 years notary experience but mistake all over place. My closing is delayed because of them. No apology. They yelled at me for not reading the ducment. And then they hijack my document not giving back to me even I begged to pay them. I was forced to stand there for over 20 mins to wait for the manager to come back. That woman is very rude. I should have check their review before I went. BEAWARE!!!Update: Attorney told the me document was notorized wrong. He said you may NOT want to go back to them. So I went to another ups store and got it right. The price is HALF of what this store charged me! Wow!! What a rip off!!!!They have RUDE, unprofessional and over charge. I had to rush in for a notary service and the lady charged me $60 and didnt even bother to give me the receipt. $60 bucks I am still in a shock state. My bad I did not read reviews from other users and was in a bit of hurry with my family. Never imagined that it will be a $60 notary. Now I am thinking should I send the docs for passport or frame it and hang on the wall because the notary service was so expensive.... Stay away from the place.

The Indian lady told me to come back tomorrow with the letter and would tell me how much it would be. I came back the second day with the letter, she ask me to pay $54 to ship it to Texas..... Stingy store where theyll try to wring any money they can out of you. Just moved here with no cell service, wifi, or printer yet. Asked to use wifi to get access to my email so I could show them the label they needed to scan, but was told Id have to pay $3.50 to get on an ancient computer and print out the label. Cheap, unaccommodating, and ridiculous in this day and age. All my future UPS business will go elsewhere from now on.

Lots of people seem to have bad experiences here but Ive only ever had to drop off packages to be shipped and the staff was always very quick at noticing me and asking me what I needed and directing me to the area to drop off the package. Not sure how they would treat me if I had other needs but have never had any issue so cant really rate them poorly.

I was misguided by the lady who work here, is sending my packet thru some iShip career I didnt ask for.. I clearly mentioned that I want some better career, more secure for important documents. I came to know about this blunder when I received a mail from iShip_Services regarding my packet.. They wanted to charge me $38 to ship a letter over night. I know for a fact you can send the same from Fedex for under $25. Not only that it was not using a UPS label, rather a USPS label. Oh, and a $5 charge just to print off my thumb drive. Next time Fedex.

I went to ship my important legal document to Canada and I paid over $85 dollars for over-night shipping and I only learned after one week my receiver called me that he never received my document. I went to the store to check the status again and the owner told me that they were trying to contact DHL for the shipping. What? Shipping in UPS store with DHL? Why? I never received status update even though I provided my email as she promised me to send email for status update. She never contacted me about the status of my shipment, only told me that she was trying to contact DHL and me when I went to the store to check the status. Liar!! Never go there to ship anything!! Ssrajan72, I should have read your review before I went to this place. I 100% agree with you on ZERO star. Too bad customer service and complete rip off for Notary service. I ended up paying $75 for 5 signatures. In fact, they asked me to get notary for the signatures in OCI application where it was no required as per check list. When I asked this, they told You came here to get the service and we did not call you to come here. Vow. Then, I do not want to pay for the pages that do not need Notary and canceled the transaction couple of signatures after long conversation. I will NOT recommend this place for notary.
