I feel cheated with the choice of treatment and charges.Method with heat isnt effective on coarse hair and same hair grows back quickly as oppose to Galvanic. Same hair grows back needs to be treated multiple times to get the result with heat (thermolysis) method. I wont prefer it as other method practitioner gave me guaranteed that treated hair wont grow back. I expect the practitioner to know that and act upon the research and fact shows which method to use on what type of hair, rather than hoping patient will stick around spending.I told Elaine what type of treatment I had before but she switched from Galvanic to thermolysis knowing that Galvanic is working for me and all I wanted was someone closer so I dont have to travel. Terrible! This is a type of business where people go more so often until improved so, if you want to earn money, provide good honest service and dont assume that people wont research.Anyways, after the treatment I had bumps all over the treated area. :( So basically Elaine used treatment that does not work with type of hair I have and it left bumps and pimples on my skin after treatment. She used timer but felt like cheated in that aspect as well. And instead of letting me know IF there is need for time, she announced times up and for two hairs used 5 min time.Also, for the entire visit she kept referring it as weeding as in how you would weed out in your garden. Not appreciated.Why waste time and money where you feel cheated in the choice of treatment (despite knowing what works on certain person), time management and overall experience.

Elaine Staats provides great results, goes the extra mile for her clients, and is a very nice person. I have gone to several electrolysis professionals. Elaine is the best. She has eliminated the thick coarse hair from my face and other parts of my body more quickly than other Electrologist said it would take. She is meticulous and has never caused me any problems. In addition, I have unusually sensitive skin. Before Elaine I couldn’t bear to have more than four or five hairs removed from my upper lip per session. Even using LMX or Ela- max it was too painful. It would have taken me years to get rid of the hair. Elaine made an arrangement with a doctor to come into her office to give her clients a numbing injection every three or four months. This has made work on my lip absolutely painless. She got my upper lip completely cleared in three sessions. She also referred me to a doctor who could provide a numbing cream that was more than five times as effective as LMX or Ela- max. Before I found Elaine I searched the internet and called all over. I was ready to fly down to Beverley Hills every couple of months to get rid of all the hair. Elaine is the best electrolysis professional in Northern California.
