I only gave one star because I couldn’t give it zero stars. I expected someone to repair my washer when they showed up not a salesman to talk to. When I called I told them on the phone that I needed new suspension rods and that is what I expected. When the guy showed up I showed him my washer and after briefly looking at it he said yeah you definitely need suspension rods so I left him to it. After five minutes he came down stairs and started talking to me about all these new washers Sears has which I did not care about I just cared about getting mine fixed. Then he told me he checked his truck and he didn’t have any suspension rods and that he had to order them. I then asked him how much will it cost and he told me it would be $500 but I could get a new washer for $600. I said that is crazy how is that a $500 dollar job. He then said they cost $50 dollars per rod and I said how is that when I can order four for 50 on Amazon and as low as $30 for four. Then he began to say it is because of the rods I needed which I know is a joke. I feel Sears just made $99 for a salesman to show up just to get me to buy a new washer. I would recommend no one ever use this service!

The service is easy to sign up for, but it took a week or longer to get a service guy here. The repair man was very nice and knowledgeable. We now believe we need to get a new gasket installed around the freezer door and would like to request the repair guy to come back.

Excellent service! Repair person had the perfect demeanor for the job as well as being rapid and correct in his diagnosis of the problem. His technical skills were impressive while showing us the actual blockage in the drain tube. The technician was also able to verify our maintenance coverage on our dryer and provide rapid, competent service to allow for safe operation into the long term future!A really nice guy...competent, non threatening, social, and gracious!!

6/2020--My Riding Mower-Silver technician, Lester, was professional, efficient, and personable. He was able to address all my concerns and perform the necessary maintenance to keep my equipment running efficiently.2019--Courteous, friendly, professional and quite informative. I learned stuff I didnt know about my lawn tractor that is quite handy!!

Our technician was very courteous and professional. He performed the yearly maintenance check-up on our Kenmore refrigerator.We did not realize that some of the cubes were jamming up. He cleaned and adjusted our ice maker so that it would function properly.Our technician provided us with excellent and professional service.

Been dealing with Sears for approximately two months to repair washer. Finally all parts arrived after weeks of ordering and not receiving what we needed. It took two technicians to replace the tub and the enclosure for the tub. After they left the washer was leaking all over the basement floor. Had to call them to come back and it was going to take another week. Finally we were contacted by Scott in Pittsburgh area who arranged for someone to come out ASAP, which was a Friday rather than a Monday. He located the leak and tightened what was necessary to stop the leak but did not run a load of clothing through the washer and it is making a terrible noise in the final spin. We are used to the high speed sound but this sounds like something is off balance. I try adjusting the loads of clothing but that doesnt always work either. I feel with all that went into replacing parts something is still off kilter. Sears has spent so much time and money in the past few months on this washer I feel they should have replaced it. We are under maintenance warranty and have been since we bought the machine but I am at my wits end dealing with them at this point.

The tech was very pleasant and professional. Knew what to do to fix the problem, and he explained everything to us. I was very pleased with the service we got from Sears.I would like to find out who the tech was that fixed my washer on Aug 8, to let him know he lost his glassess in our driveway . We would like to return them to him, just need him to get in touch with us.

Dave, the technician, has always been superb at servicing any and all equipment. He is also a super pleasant and friendly person. This time the new ice maker replacement arrived with broken parts (shipping) and he was able to take working parts from the old one and complete the repair fully, in no time at all. The best.

Ice Maker stopped dropping ice and water ran down the front of the door and on the floor. First technician reset the ice maker and told us to watch it, but if it happened again, a new one would be installed. Of course, it did not work because the mechanism was not flipping the ice tray and the next addition of water was just refreezing and then the water started running over. Set up another appointment fully expecting the technician to have the ice maker, but no, he did not. Apparently they have no way of knowing the problem they are going out to fix until the morning they receive their schedule and there was not an ice maker stocked on the truck because it was fairly new. They wanted to set up another appointment but both my husband and I work, and it was not possible. The part was sent to our home and my husband installed it and it works fine. The technicians were great but they have no say as to what parts are stocked and apparently no one in management looks at the repairs to see if there should be parts put on the truck if it is a second call back. Weve bought Sears appliances for years and have never had problems like these before, but then, the trucks did not say SEARS on them. Apparently the work is contracted out.

Rep responded promptly. Was unable to verify arrival time online, did not receive email. Rep did call shortly before arrival, which was fine. Problem had self corrected in the interim between request and service call, but rep checked and oiled machine and offered to return if needed. Rep was courteous, professional and friendly.

First repair tech was extremely nice and ordered part needed. When second tech came to install, he said original diagnosis was incorrect. He claimed he probably wouldnt have parts needed, but lo and behold he had them on his truck. He said they must have been from a re-build that he did...the parts were brand new still in the bags. The tech would only speak with my husband and not the woman who operates the washer needing repair. I have had Sears products for many years and techs in my home for routine maintenance many times and I have NEVER had a tech treat me the way the last tech did!!!!!

Technician followed notification protocol, verified appointment arrival and performed quick assessment of problem retrieved component for in this case the stove range and was gone before you knew he was here.Within the time he was here he informed us of the required procedure to fix the range and performed his task without hesitation. I was told by the agent in mexico,that the service fee was to be only $114.00,i was charged $25.00 more than I was told.the service man brought NO testing equipment,NO replacement parts,and I walked him thru the installation.he was here a VERY short time,also.

From the first call into the service dept to say that our dishwasher was not working to the final resolution, both service people and technicians were competent and courteous. Technician Mark Kesner did an excellent job in fixing the problem. The fact that my first call, unknown to me at the time, was on the final day of my 1 year warranty, made the bill of $0 for a $600+ repair very welcome. I bought the extended warranty. For the quality of service alone I would return to Sears for major appliances.

It would have been five star if I was simply rating the service people. Problem was, I had to wait nearly three weeks from the first visit till the final visit when the part was installed. The part had to be ordered, thats true, but it arrived the day after the first visit. I notified them of this, but I still had to wait. i understand that here were some problems with workers sick/resigning - but there should be a contingency plan in place to cover situations like this.

All credit to the technician who persevered in resolving the issue, which was not a straightforward or easy one to tackle. He was very courteous and professional and I felt that he approached the problem as if it were his own appliance. That is a rare quality to come across nowadays.

After trying to get someone here to service our appliances for well over a month, Ed Holliday came from Sears. Ed did a very thorough inspection of our dishwasher, dryer and washer. He cleaned out the problem areas on the dishwasher. He did a very thorough cleaning of the dryer vent system and cleaning out the lint.My frustration with this was the way we were supposed to have someone here to do this from 4 or more companies. Never heard from anyone. When I started to threaten to contact the Better Business Bureau was when we finally got someone here.As I said before, Ed Holliday did a very thorough job on everything.

This is the 4th repair this year (they’ve been “fixing” this washer for 3 years now) for the same problem with the washer. It takes weeks to get a repair person here and at this point it just needs replaced.... However Sears won’t replace it.... They just keep making appointments to send more technicians out here to replace parts that have already been replaced a few weeks ago. We are a family of seven and have had no properly working washer for over a year!!!Beware!!! Sears warranty is a waste!!!

Parts have to be ordered. It took two weeks because the part was sent to the wrong address, even though I stood right beside the repairman and listened to him give proper instructions for shipping the part. Meanwhile I was unable to do any laundry. Sears is awful.

Since the maintenance agreement included new blades I would have liked to have the new blades given to me even though it did not need them. Also I thought it was pitiful the guy did not have an air filter on his truck. He said I would be getting it in the mail.

The technician was diligent and seemed to fix the problem but, unfortunately, after he left the icemaker began leaking so we turned it off, removed the bin, called Sears the next day (friday) to request that they send a technician right away but no one is coming until today. In the meantime, we have been mopping up water from inside the refrigerator and bins all weekend long. WHAT A MESS! WE ARE NOT HAPPY/We just renewed our maintenance contract for three years but we may have to cancel that if this persistent problem with our icemaker is not resolved or another refrigerator/freezer is delivered.
