Simple DCP is GREAT. Theyre super professional, FAST, and they QC their DCPs, which a lot of other companies dont do. I also like that I have the option of keeping my DCPs stored with them, and theyll send it out for me whenever a film festival or venue needs it, so I dont have to deal with it. Ive worked with them on a couple of my films now, and I saw that some weirdo posted a lame review of them, so I had to speak up. They also have a screening room, so if youre in the LA area you can come in and watch your DCP for yourself, which I did with my last documentary.

Ive been actively engaged in the Los Angeles film festival production from 2013, mostly as a technical director, print traffic manager and producer. Every production is different, and good or bad, there are always unlmited ways for improvement. But dealing with unimaginable issues and tech-problems in extremely high-stress situations somehow becomes a norm. Personally, I will never forget the day I met the Simple DCP founders, Garrett Sergeant & Chris Hiti – for many reasons really, but mostly for showing me it doesnt have to be that way. Introduction to their business, new facility and DCP workflow was literally eye-opening – and it took so much burden off of my shoulders, to be honest. Since then, Ive been preaching about amazing and nerve-saving Simple DCP services to every filmmaker, festival director and producer I know. As a film festival owner screening independent films at regal cinemas at la live, and at the laemmle Monica film center in Santa Monica I have had many positive experiences with DCPs formatted by Simple DCP, in 2015 I hosted a 15 day film festival at regal cinemas at la live, I had two theaters screening films, many of the content I screened was via DCPS from Simple DCP, at the time regal cinemas at la live was screening films through the dont 4K projector, the DCPS from Simple DCP were flawless, a year later, November 2016, I hosted a ten day film festival at the newly remodeled Laemmle Monica film center, laemmle was using the Christie 2K projector in the 4 theaters I screened films in, and again the films that were processed at Simple DCP were flawless. then in 2017 I hosted another film festival at regal cinemas at la live and once again films I screened that had been processed at Simple DCP were flawless. I have had DCPS from other companies in Los Angeles and from companies on the east coast screen at my festivals and some were almost comparable to the quality of the processing at Simple DCP. but overall I have not experienced the satisfaction that I have had at Simple DCP, I rate and review a lot of different businesses I use here on Google maps but I have never been so happy to share a positive review of a business as I am with this company. they go above and beyond in customer satisfaction and the highest standards.
