I was so happy with all of the excellent customer service I received. Yesterday, my day started off really badly at a different location - Brooklyn Park (I posted that review already). The Fantastic Sams in Crystal when I called did a great job listening to my frustrations and went above and beyond to get me in for all of my many hair needs.Renee was fantastic with helping me get things set up with the same person for yesterday and today. Tory was friendly, and did a great job explaining things to me. She taught me a lot about keeping my hair healthy and how to use many different products. She listened to what I was attempting to do and gave me something I love so much. She exceeded my expectations for what I was looking for.From the hair cut to the color, to the way I could see she clearly loves her job to her ensuring I was happy ensured I will be back. Everyone was very pleasant and the atmosphere was like night and day compared to Brooklyn Park. I cant say thank you enough for all that you guys do; especially Tory and Renee.Keep up the amazing work!!!

I went somewhere else beforehand and just wasnt happy at all with what was probably the worst cut ever. Came here the next day and I had a great time! I love my hair and new look. Aubrey saved me after having my hair ruined by Vince at Bishop NE (he redid it 4 times and it was still orange instead of rose gold and he told me it was my fault!). She is perfection! Perfect fix and beautiful cut.

My hair didnt turn out anything like I asked for. It was my first makeover since I had my son last August and was super excited for something new! Got low lights and you can barely tell because theyre so thin; theres barely any dimension. I asked for a side sweep bang but didnt get those either; I ended up going back to get those fixed and it still wasnt what I was looking for. So now I just have to part my hair a completely different way to make it look somewhat decent on my face shape. Thank God they grow back super fast lol.Plus I had to fix my eyebrows when I got home because a bunch of spots were missed when I got them waxed.I mean, I would go back and try again; but I would go to a whole different stylist because we werent a good fit when it came to styling.

The remodel made getting your hair cut here unbearable and obnoxious. You are close to other people getting their hair cut that their lands on you. They may raised their prices but you cant read the prices because it scrolls and is written with a 10 point font. But, be sure to tip well, they deserve it.

Decent place. Gets crowded on Saturdays. And they recently closed on Sundays. Otherwise they have good availability of hair stylists. They dont force you to use hair products like some other places do. But they are always welcome a casual chat when you are having a haircut or treatment.

I always come out of this salon feeling good. My hair always look nice. Their service is wonderful. Recommend to friends.

My stylist knocked it out the park! Aaron wasnt afraid to dive in, gave me great direction on what works for my hair, and was overall a pleasant and kind person! You can tell he loves what he does. Very happy and will definitely be returning!

I brought my 7 year old daughter here to get her haircut so she could donate her hair. First of all $35 for a kids simple haircut was outrageous... but it was crooked and uneven. I had to bring her back the next day to have a more seasoned stylist fix it.. still not right, I ended up having to have my 16year old daughter fix it.

I had to review. I have had consistently great service that keeps me returning from Aaron.( Aron?) He is the master, the prince, the Guru of hair color. Hes eccentric, witty, caring and extremely in tune with your perfect color match. My daughters hair was getting brassy from a previous balayage and he swooped in and returned her to princess status, wrapped her in a bow and sent us on our way with smiles. He even found a coupon deal to accommodate us. Fantastic Sams Crystal is so lucky to have him!

My rating is complex with Fantastic Sams. The stylists are generally pretty amazing. The managers/ owners are not great, broken promises, no follow through and generally showing a lack of care for customers. I keep going back because the stylists are very nice people and some are very good at what they do.

I am sorry, we used to love this salon but the customer service just has not been the same. The stylists are great! The person who checked me in today at opening gave me a estimated 20 min wait I was there 45 min and had to leave without a trim, Last time we were there the same experience. I dont know what changed this is pretty disappointing since we have always loved the service.

I stopped in today for a last minute cut and color, as I sit here waiting for my color to process I am falling in love with this salon! I rotate between here & great clips but mostly liked fantastic Sams. Unfortunately I will be going only to great clips. I showed 2 pictures of what I wanted & have had done before and my cut is not even close ! Framed towards face nope its not and Im VERY disappointed.

Visited the Crystal store.Got a new color and a shorter hair cut. They were able to give me a little off by getting me the color special that was for another day. Nice and clean.

I wish I could do a negative review... dont waste your time here. Every time Ive went here they have messed up my hair. They always miss dead ends, its never straight, and Im pretty sure no one in this place could cut bangs to save their life. My bang are way to short and go to far over to the sides and are extremely choppy and uneven, she missed parts of my bangs so now I have random long hairs mixed in, I told her to cut off 4 inches she only cut off 3 maybe, and she did no face framing at all. The environment is annoying and obnoxious. The stylist are pretty much screaming in between the heads of customers. Not to mention that they are never actually focused on your hair. Theyre constantly chatting, answering phones, or bullshitting too much to watch what they are doing. Resulting in uneven, lazy, and poor cuts. Dont do go here. Its not worth the money or the time spent looking stupid till your hair grows out.

Stylists come and go but the person I like the most is still there and its been about 13 years that Ive been going to her. I dont think you have to spend the extra money to get a good haircut and I enjoy my cut every time. I feel like she takes the time to do my hair and isnt on a schedule of how fast she can get me done and move onto the next customer. I appreciate that and since Im paying much less than a salon, I am able to tip more for the great service!

Had to cut my own hair after I left there. Whoever the young dude with the blonde hair is that had my own haircut but couldnt give me the same, needs to learn how to cut hair. Its super uneven on both sides, way too short on the top (he kept cutting it because it wasnt even so eventually it was just too short). All in all, never going there again, heres to a month of wearing a freaking hat. Thanks.

If I could give ZERO STARS I would. From the rude staff that cursed at me for having my bag on the abandoned station next to the one I was in to the inability to color my hair to the correct color that was agreed upon that they had to do twice and told me to come back in at least 2 weeks to get redone again. But then was told that it had been too long and would be charged another fee. Maybe if I couldve had it corrected by a different stylist that was available at the times I couldve been, being that I work 2 jobs, but it had to be done by the original person. Terrible customer service, terrible hair service, terrible place in general. Incompetent to say the least.

Great and friendly service. Got the exact haircut that i was wanting. :) Will be going back to dye my hair later in the month. Little bit of a wait due to go during their busy time but overall worth it. :)

About last year 2018, I got a hair cut and the stylist had ask me if I wanted layers and I said no and I didnt knowice until later that I had short layers on top. Since than I went to Great Clips and the stylist ask me who cut your hair so I told them Fantastic Sams in Crystal and she said you have short uneven layers on top so the stylist should honor what you want.

Showed her a picture of how I wanted my hair cut. She cut the sides, but left it long on top. I wanted a mohawk that is only 2-4 inches in height. Not 6-8 inches in height. Price is cheap. Store is clean. Lady was friendly. Just did not listen to what I wanted.

Staffing is a bit short, therefore you end up waiting and the hair stylist may have to answer the phone. Expect something better than that for twenty one bucks.

They are very professional. And I always get a great cut.

I went in for a color showed her what i wanted, she asked me if i wanted small highlights or chunky i told her the chunky blonde highlights like in the picture. She didnt do my hair at all how i wanted it. It looks nothing like the picture i showed her. Also she didnt even attempt to style my hair after she trimed it. The only reason i give it 2 stars is it was clean and the staff seemed friendly. But wont be going back to this 1 again. Ill go to the 1 in Plymouth next time!

Visited 3 times this year. First two cuts were great, perfect, exactly what I asked for. Third visit was last week and Im still crying about how much I hate the cut. The stylist did not do what I asked, nor did I feel like he listened, but did what he wanted to do. I have been working on growing out a pixie cut for the past six months and I lost 98% of the work and frustration I put into growing it out. He buzzed my back and now my cowlick is showing again which I hate. Not sure if I will go back or keep looking for a new place to go.

This is my go-to place for a quick haircut. Very friendly staff! Sometimes it seems like the turn around of staff is really quick, but theres a handful of employees whove been around for several years now.

I was able to get my favorite stylist, and several people complimented me on my hair - while I was still in the salon!

Every time go there they do excellent job cutting my hair.

I got my haircut there but my hair stylist didn’t end up cutting my hair the way I wanted. I guess they are not really specialized in women’s haircut.

Went there to get my eyebrows waxed and tried to tell the girl doing them how I like them and she seemed very uninterested. I then showed her a picture of EXACTLY how I like them, told her to just clean them up, not to shape them (as I didn’t want her to make them too thin or mess up.) Also told her to keep them thick. On one eyebrow she burned my skin off because she left the wax and strip on my face for longer than a minute when you’re supposed to take it off right away, and cut me about three times with the tweezers cause she pinched too hard and then WAXED OFF part of the beginning of my other eyebrow, so now they’re not thick but look straight and small. I’m also MISSING A PART OF MY EYEBROW. Not only did she do all that but she still made me pay. I definitely do not recommend going here. They don’t seem to really care about what their customers are saying or the fact that one of the employees BURNED my skin. Also the manager had seen my eyebrows too and said nothing. Would give zero stars if that was an option.

Id give 0 stars if i could, Im so upset with the way my bangs turned out. The hair stylist did not listen to anything i said. She just brushed my bangs down took the scissors and snipped them straight across. Then brushed them back and sent me on my way. I asked her to make my bangs frame my face instead they go straight across my head and she missed so many pieces of hair i had to trim and fix them myself. I WILL NEVER GO BACK! She took 10 off my bangs its gonna take forever to grow back just so i can have them the way i want them.

Kelly was super nice and listened to detail. She is dedicated to her work and even grabbed me cookies while my hair was processing.

In January I went in to get my hair cut and colored. I had never dyed my hair professionally before so I showed them what I wanted and told them that I trusted them to make the decisions to get my hair that color. It took me 4 hours and took her 2 tries. She wound up getting the color totally wrong the first time, and didnt realize until she started drying my hair. I looked like a tiger, which was insane to me because I had not at all asked for any orange. She then announced that her boss was distracting her while she was mixing the dye so she had dumped too much of the one color in. She then had to correct it which helped some. But it honestly took so long and was so expensive and she did such a hack job that I dont think I will be going back.

I went here on Halloween for a shampoo and a trim and came out spunky with a whole new haircut.So much yes.

On May 29, 2017, I brought my granddaughter in for a style. One stylist called out I dont do braids. The style was for one braid. Suggested stylist another, asked if her hair was curly. Never washed her hair. After 3 tries with the bun, 55 minutes and $55. We were finshed.

Had a baylouge done with a cut that was suposta be wispy layers ended up with calico colors and a very blut layer when expressing my concerns the Manager Tiffany was more concerned about the store closing at 5 and that she needed to go home !! She did offer me a date to come in and have a redue ...so nice of her! here now Ill let you know how it goes 🤔🤔😉

Great place to get a hair cut! I realized I had a problem with my hair when I got home and went back and they fixed it with no problems.

Waited over an hour for my son to get his haircut, which took all of 15mins to do. Other people that came in after us were seen before us. It was the worst haircut that my son has ever had, and than ontop of that it was 16.00. What a rip off. I will never go back!!!!

Jake Ryan did a good job with my bangs! I showed him a picture and he did it exactly as it was shown. So for those of you complaining about bangs not being done right, try going to him.

Used to be great. I have been getting my haircut here for years. The quality of Stylists has been slowly decreasing. There are a couple of good ones left and only a couple. Im done with this location. Just had the worst cut. I get a very straight forward clipper cut and the stylist today seemed confused on what to do. I had to repeat what I wanted multiple times. Even had him disagreeing with me at one point. Totally missed behind my ears and neck. Stray long hairs left. No wash, no blowdrying the loose hairs. If you have a known favorite stylist then go. Otherwise its like playing roulette with the quality. Go at your own risk. Im off to find a place that can fix my haircut.

My husband had a terrible cut and they pushed into his neck so hard with the buzzer they left cuts around his entire neck line.He said one person was there to cut and answer calls so they kept leaving him to be on the phone. I would give zero stars if we could.

Do not go here... I went here to get a balayage. The lady felt the need to add her own personal touch (Which was not wanted) and put a huge streak of caramel which turned out orange to the front of my hair. Theres a circle on one side of my head that is orange. Not blended in at all like a balayage is supposed to do. The caramel which is orange just starts at random spots on my hair. I cried and asked for my money back but all they would do is try to fix it. I clearly do not trust you give me my money back
