They are great Winston was in their care for 18 days. He loves pet hotel and we can’t say enough about Annie she go’s out of her way to do his nails and check in on him for me. Hands down your dog is the best care. Soon they will have Jackson after. He gets all his shots. And we did school for Winston and Jackson will be in soon. J J

The grooming staff here are the absolute best! I have taken my 2 dogs here a few times recently and they are always so helpful and accommodating. I feel like they truly care and want to help, and I am so impressed and amazed by how great they are! Especially when I compare to experiences at some similar competitors!

The Pet Hotel was wonderful for our two pups when we went out of town! It was so comforting to know that both our girls were well taken care of while we were away. Our pups have some unique needs, and the staff were so accommodating and patient with their quirks. We received a report at the end about their stay which was also wonderful!

My precious dog Alfie, stayed at the Crystal Lake, IL Pet Hotel over Labor Day Weekend. I was greeted by Shayna, who couldnt have been sweeter. She assured me that Alfie would be well taken care of, and she was correct.Since my family was out of town, I felt a bit of anxiety being so far away from our little cutie. We were able to view daily photos of Alfie during play time, which made us feel very relaxed.Upon check-out, Shayna graciously greeted us again. She gave us feedback on Alfies stay. I have a rescue dog who can be anxious around other dogs. Dylan is the best working with my dog. She is calm and has done the best grooming weve ever had. Our pup loves going to see her. We are so thankful this is now a pleasant experience for us all.

Pretty much everything to need in a pet store. Honestly, we go there pretty often to see the cats that are there with the adoption agency. It brings us joy.

Friendly staff, great that its pet friendly even if youre just shopping.

We go here all the time we were fine with the service but all of a sudden they started doing bad. my dog came home with a cut leg and an uneven haircut.

I bought one of their extremely sad looking cockatiels (cause it was in a dark cage, feathers ruined and crammed itself in the corner of its cage) and the poor thing is so sick. Ive been watching this bird for a month before taking it home just to see if its condition would improve and absolutely nothing had be done for it. Their vet on site apparently doesnt do birds at all and refuses even to trim their nails. $250 for an extremely sick, distraught and untamed bird is laughable. Ive already easily paid more than purchase price in vet bills trying to get the wee thing healthy again. Being sent home with antibiotics, anti inflamitories and waiting to hear back on more testing for possible chlamydia. Why on earth would petstore not have an avian vet to go to/on site if youre going to sell birds??

Trusted my dog received the service I paid for. After picking him up, his nails were not cut. No apology.

Worst grooming experience ever.Rescheduled 5 times. I had an appointment for 2PM and they were several hours behind. When we finally were able to get an appointment, they had put the wrong service plan down so we didnt even get the correct grooming we original planned for. After THEIR mistake, they couldnt even get us in for another 3 weeks.Total reschedule wait time - 6 weeks.

The ladies at Petsmart in the grooming department are the absolute best! This was my first time coming there and I came from the Northside of Chicago. I was working in the area that day and I really needed to fit my jazzy in and they welcomed us with open arms! Even tho I was late they didn’t make me feel worse then I already did they made sure to make the recommendations for my jazzy that no groomer has done before! Definitely work bringing my baby back again eventho it’s out of my way!

My dog was their for boarding and day for three days. When we dropped her she was perfectly fine and when we picked her up she had a scratch on her nose, bleeding gums, eye infection, coughing. We understand its because dog play can get rough. However, she had soap on her tummy after they gave her bath, she ended up with dermatitis.I will never take my dog there. She was perfectly fine when we dropped her but after picking her up she is different. She is extremely tired, sneezing, and alot of things are happening to her. Please be mindful of putting your dog there. They also dont check vaccination records, like k9 cought. Which is extremely important when dropping dogs for boarding.

My goodies love coming here. We do have our favorite groomer though. Megan seems to give a little extra to my girls. My dogs can be skittish, and Megan will spend a little extra time to calm them. The other staff members have been friendly as well

The store manager Zack walked me through the entire store and informed me about different products. As a first time puppy owner, I greatly appreciated his time and patience. I asked many questions, all of which he answered. I left feeling better informed and confident about my puppy.My experience here was amazing, and I look forward to coming back.

Employees are great besides the fact that I can stand waiting for service on bagging crickets. I see employees walking around lost in thought. Eye contact made but I feel avoidance. Not great customer service around the fish and bugs. Other stores have installed a service button. This one needs the same.

Knowledgeable staff and helpful cashiers. Clean store and rewards program had very attractive prices of popular items. Nice selection of food and live pets. Love this place.

Bought a fish tank set up tag said 30% off for quick sale so we bought it and after getting home ready to set up there is no pump called the store said dont you think it would have been proper to say parts missing instead of reduced for quick sale and was told there was no room on the tag to write that so I did return tank gravel plants and ordered from Amazon for cheaper I have used the Crystal lake store for years for dog stuff fish stuff but no more the manager said Im not giving you a pump for free he should have stayed parts missing very misleading sale practice maybe illegal?

During my dogs five day stay he was injured on his head with a bloody wound and the staff failed to inform me of such event although they are required under the contract to do so.

First puppy training class. Really like the trainer. More classes and more reviews to come

I recently brought our little pitbull Lucy to Petsmart grooming. We had Dylan P as our groomer and she was absolutely polite, kind, cheerful and professional. Beyond her wonderful demeanor she did such a good job with Lucy. You can tell the attention to detail when someone does a good nail grind on your job. Great place .

Justice did a great job and took care of Ziva(my puppy). She was very friendly and worked with Ziva when she was trying to eat the blow dryer instead of getting upset with her. We have more appointments with her in the future.

Ive been bringing my dogs here for years. And sometimes it can get very crowded and I have to wait for attention or check in, but the salon is full of very hard working, polite girls that always do their best to manage the crazy amount of people walking in and out of their lobby everyday, on top of phone calls and cleaning and their full schedule of dogs. Safety is always their first priority as your pet always comes first. Sometimes higher maintence dogs take more time than others and they let you know the estimated time for the appointment at drop off. Please try to be understanding if you dont get an immediate greeting as you can clearly see how busy the salon is, and without a receptionist these girls are doing the best they can. All my friends and both of my dogs go here and all I have is positive feedback.

Our 10 month old Great Dane absolutely LOVES day camp. She gets in a days worth of play and fun with her friends and is very well cared for while there. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. My favorite thing is that they know my dog and she knows them. Consistently having the same faces at day camp is comforting for us because we know that Jojo will be in good hands.

Mostly a big box pet store. However, I am giving them 5 stars because they have a large selection of prescription food for dogs and cats at very good prices. It will make caring for my cat good, while being much more financially sound.

Took my dog in for a bath at 1:15. Was called at 3:30 that they werent going to do anything with her. She sat for over 90 minutes,, they brushed her for half an hour then called me to pick her up, they didnt have time. Manager Zachary was totally fine with this. Beware your dog might just sit there with nothing to be done.

Is PetSmart is pretty great it has everything you need. You could stand with the remodeling as the floor has been stained with the urine of a million dog puddles. Their grooming service is also very friendly and we trust them completely.

Love the Crystal lake store. Have what I need most of the time. Would like to see better sales with the fish and a bigger variety of cat harnesss. The 🐈 harness I liked best is never there anymore and I have asked. The clerk pretty much blew me off. I hoped they would have checked to see if another store had it.

There are all sorts or products for your pet no matter what type. Layout is also very good. Was having some trouble finding a particular item and there were two employees that normally would ask but their conversation was more important. I found what I needed and went to check out. The cashier was ok at first but then knew the person next in line. Her focus was on the person she knew and did not finish with a typical thank you or what not.

Love the crew in the grooming salon! My shorthair is totally freaked to get his nails done. His vet couldn’t do it, gave us sedatives and he’d still put up a fight even half crocked from the meds. Someone finally suggested trying CL Petsmart and I’m so pleased! I’ve had Caitlyn, Ashly, Jamie and a few others do his nails and all did a fabulous job. I’m so grateful to have a caring crew to bring my dog to that does a great job and knows their stuff. Thank you!

The place was clean the products wetter organized and the animals looked very happy. The options this place offers is incredible. The only shortcoming is that the staff was slightly non existent. Yes they were present but never asked if we needed anything or asked if there was anything they can help us with minus one gentleman at the very end.

Only place to get prescription animal food outside of the vets. Much cheaper by $2.00 per can. Also real nice people, that helps.

I love PetSmart. I have two kittens so I tend to focus on that area of the store. I love looking at the different animals they have there. They have a variety in their selections in each area of anything you could think of that a cat would need. I love to spoil my kittens so I could easily do a shopping spree there and have so much fun doing so. I bought a cat tower there that they just love so much. Often when I try to stick to necessities of food I walk out with at least a toy or two. The staff is very friendly and happy to help.
